Don't see any reason for him to lie --- It's not like he is the one who chose Isha. And we never saw him complaining for not winning. He gave his best -- with whatever contestant he got. Or season before that for that matter - with Yana.

Didn say he is lying... But opinions change per ones convenience... And if he isn't at fault for partnering up with Isha then so are the other choreographers not at fault for being given a trained dancer as their partners... If he has an opinion than it should have been since season 1 when he joined and had seasoned partners...

There were trained dancers in the past seasons...so am not sure why the big deal abt trained and untrained dancers this season?
On that note, they should not bring in celebs with a huge fanbase who will vote like crazy no matter how the celeb does. Now thats unfair to the celebs who are actually doing much better. All it will matter in this case are the votes, not the performance...

😆 You seem to be very sure about what his opinion was or is since season one. Sorry but I think I'm missing the actual point for you to start picking on him.

Just saw it and agree. The show's basically for stars, without any professional dancing background. If you want professional dancers to participate, sure, bring em in as choreographers. Cause in the end, the trophy is equally for both participant and his, generally speaking, choreographer.

Although I like Drashti. But I want people from various backgrounds to take part. To him/her is her/his strength. According to the format, dance and popularity both are factors well considered. I think the popularity factor is even more advantageous. So a pro dancer with no popularity has the chance to create popularity by good performance. Wile our fav can maintain her popularity by improving dance. So the format is FAIR for me.

Listen bro, if all popular faces, but no dancers are taken in the show, it will be a TRP flop due to low quality of dance. Lets not forget majority of the viewers are not branded fans of any celebrity. Well they might take a side during the show, but very few follow them day and night. They are the TRP generators... Fans are common factors in every show...

If only fans would generate TRP, then popular shows wouldn't be flop... Fans don't leave, common people leave first. As fans we need to get the right ideas in our heads and not stop using our brains for blind petty fight...

Sorry if that hurt you. But I also want People from varieties backgrounds to make a show interesting and it's wonderful to see how people evolve and compete with pro dancers and how pro dancers turn popular figures.

Hope I didn't hurt you. Lets continue our support for our fav ...😉

If I'm not wrong, he's saying that people with other careers such as Shaan with singing and Drashti & Sid with acting are more deserving. That would be true IMO if this was a purely judge-based show. As it is public voting based, trained dancers (even if they do impeccable acts) are at a disadvantage for lack of fan base (which equals to votes).

In this season, it's his opinion that non-dancers are deserving even though he had dancers as partners in earlier seasons. It could be that now that he has a non-dancer, his opinion has changed or that he is rooting for his partner (which is only natural).

I don't see anything wrong with his statement, being the fan of a dancer participant. But I would add that, at the same token, if the dancers garner votes from the public (while not being as famous as the others), then they are also deserving in their own right.

Jhalak is made for these kind of contestants, and he was very open about it...I hope JDJ doesn't get any worse next season but putting more professional dancers in, the concept of this show is already down the drain, if it worsens anymore than this, I won't be able to watch it next season!

I liked Salman but sorry I don't agree to this statement. To be honest, he is playing a dirty game of the season. He himself was with trained dancers before.

Well, I like Drashti, but this guy is talking cheap for no reason, he doesn't need to do this, And give bad name to Drashti. People will at the end blame Drashti for this..

As for my reasons, why trained dancers should be part of the dance show, please read my previous post. Sorry if I hurt you, as I understand what it means to be a fan. But had to tell what I feel, for the future of the show.

Completely agree with you. If there is no pure dancer in the show, non dancers will have no benchmark to achieve. So it will be worse that Super MoM...😆 Even super MoMs are selected on their dance standard amongst the interested groups.

But in such celebrity shows, you can 't make a selection process. It will become such a nonsense show, that people won't watch it for dance anymore. It will be a TRP flop or have to turn into a comedy show for TRP.

^^ I agree that only non-dancers showing their graph over episodes will not be as viewer-catchy as dancers as contestants who push the non-dancers to do better to compete with them. I think having dancers in the show actually helps the non-dancers as they strive to do better and already have the backing of their fans - which places them in a better postition for the win.

having in this type of show one trained dancer is fine.. but this season is way too much !!

the only non trained dancers are Shaan, Sid & Drashti..

all the others have been trained at least in one form of dance..
