OMG. I cant wait to see Ronit Roy and Jay. I miss Neev so much on Kayamath. Now I can see Neev more on JDJ 2. Im soooooo super excited rite now. Im on cloud 9!!!!! :) I am sure he will do great.

She came second in the first season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa last year and was all set to anchor the second season with Rohit Roy. While Rohit is doing the show Shveta Salve has opted out. "She has some film commitments and couldn't devote enough time to the show," says Sony's executive vice-president Albert Almeida. However, Shveta says there was no question of doing the show because she wasn't approached in the first place. "How would I consider doing Jhalak when nobody approached me," she asks. Meanwhile, ever since her track ended in Left Right Left three months ago, Shveta is having great time doing stage shows in India as well as abroad. Sajid Khan on the JDJ judging panel?

This is just a wild guess but i read one of his latest interviews and right at the end he says he will be judging a dance show on television.

The TV anchor-turned-director is sure he wants to make it big.

"I wouldn't want to make a film that I can be happy watching on television. With due respect, I wouldn't pay Rs.400 to watch 'Bheja Fry' in a theatre. My films have to treat spectacle with dignity. You've to take cinematic liberties. The minute the heroes start singing a song, realism is thrown out of the window. Everyone from James Cameron to Sajid Khan takes cinematic liberties."

Belying the belief that second films are far tougher than the first, Sajid says his next will be easier.


"I'm a far more mature director now. And I can afford to take it easy for a while. I'll start the film when I'm ready. The only thing I need to do right now is to shed all the weight that I have gained. So I'm concentrating on losing weight and on fitting on the small screen."
He is now taking a sabbatical from the large screen to return to his first love - television.

"I've missed television so much! Of course, I continued my countdown show 'Ikke Pe Ikka' on Zee. It is like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' at Maratha Mandir. But now after 'Heyy Babyy', I'm hosting two film-based shows on two different channels. I'm also doing live events and judging a dance show. I've missed television."

It's confirmed! Jeetendra will now be the third judge in Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

While Urmila Matondkar and Shiamak Davar (paise ka sawaal hai!) have been almost confirmed as the other two judges this will see Jumping Jack Jeetu appearing for the first time on a reality show.

Jeetendra has always been known as a great dancer so who better than him to judge a reality show on dancing?

Apparently, the scene in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om where he and son Tusshar come and dance together shows Jeetu hasn't lost his touch.

Wonder what beti Ekta Kapoor will have to say on her dad's latest move?
