the point of competition

i am new to this forum. i have been reading curiously all week the way various members having been supporting shweta or mona. today was most interesting of all. a lot of members feel that shweta deserved to win because she was and is a better a dancer. there is no doubt that shweta is an exceptionally good dancer. however i have to point out that that was not the point of this competition. the competition had a number of stars who really couldnt dance but all joined with the hope of learning, improving , having fun and just plain entertaining the audience. moreover if the competition was purely about talent than the audience would not be asked to vote. none of us out here care about technical aspects of a dance. what we care about is enjoying what we see. the fact that mona won means she entertained us the most. and i think by saying that shweta should have won simply means we are insulting ourselves and our judgement. we should sit back relax and just plain enjoy the program. mona won fair and square. she may not be the best dancer ...but she certianly won our hearts. and that is why we have programs like jdlja. that is why we watch reality shows. i congratulate not only shweta and mona on their efforts but everyone who participated in this competition. i

i think think the point of this competetion was to figure out popularity of the contestants 😉 nothing else.

if i knew tht, i wouldnt bother watchin the show......why did they have to haev so many rounds----every1 knws tht mona was the most popular rite frm the start.

you make some interesting points. and yes, mona did entertain me the most so no it was not a personality contest 🤢

I'm sorry to offend anyone but clearly, by bringing up mona's jassi status and "popularity" in about a million threads, some people are being sore about shveta losing

I know it's upsetting to see someone other than your favorite winning but there are other people in the world who feel that mona was not only a brilliant dancer but also a brilliant performer and in my opinion, she totally deserved to win.

u r so right.. but rn't u glad u watched the show and got entertained by SUPPABB performances by everyone.. and especially the best of them all.. SHVETA?? 😃😃 Let us wish her all the very best..
