Khurana's office
Sid stormed inside the office, with an angry expression on his face. Ignoring all the "Good Morning" wishes, with long strides, Sid walked towards Mr. Gupta, his manager's cabin. Pushing the door of the cabin with a force, it caused a startling sound and made Mr. Gupta jerk in shock.
"How dare you?" yelled Sid, his voice full of aggression, anger and disgust, with a tint of pain and hurt.
"Sir?" slurred the manager.
His anger at its peak, Sid couldn't control himself from dragging the manager by the collar of his shirt and push him down on the floor and insult him in front of the whole staff.
"Dekhiye inhe..! Inpar humne itna bharosa kiya aurr yeh..masoom bachon ko beghar karne chale thhe..! Aise bhi log hote hain duniya mein, who can do anything for their gain..how dare you!" he kicked and slapped Mr. Gupta.
"How dare you do this to those kids..How dare you do this to my Roshini..you!!" Sid yelled and was about to punch Mr. Gupta but stopped and handed him to the security guards. After this little drama was over, Sid, without uttering another word, went inside his cabin.
"Arre bhai, kya hua? Koi bhoot dekh liya kya jo aise shocked reactions de rahe ho mujhe?" asked Mr. Khurana, Sid's Dad. His tone joyful and playful as usual.
"Sir woh, Siddharth Sir ne..." spoke an employee.
"Arre kya hua usse?" asked Mr. Khurana.
"Sir woh.." and by this Mr. Khurana came to know about what had happened in his absence. He gave a It's-OK look to his staff and went inside his son's cabin, where he found his son, Sid shedding silent tears.
"Putaar ji?" he called, but Sid was so lost in his thoughts and misery that he didn't even realize when his father came and stood beside him.
"Sid beta.." Mr. Khurana placed a hand on Sid's shoulder and shook him lightly. This sudden moment made Sid jerk. Sid looked into his father's concerned eyes and he couldn't hold it anymore, couldn't bottle up his emotions, so he just hugged him tight and stuttered with his speech.
"Dad...just..just..because of mine silly mistake..I'll lost her Dad, I'll lost my first love..Dad!"
"Beta ji, what happened? And my my, this is a good new, my son in love. Wah!" Mr. Khurana tried to cheer up Sid.
"Dad, it's no time to joke. I am in serious problem.." Sid punched his fist at the wall.
"Pehle tu idhar aa, beth yahan, aurr bata mujhe ki matter kya hai?" Mr. Khurana tugged at Sid's hand and made him sit on the chair.
Sid sighed and told his side of story, how he met Roshini, their bickering and chatter, then the misunderstandings regarding NGO and now Roshini's current statement that she hates Siddharth Khurana, and was going to file a case against him.
"Matter toh serious waala hai, but situation ko control kar sakte hain!" Mr. Khurana said, patting Sid's cheek lightly.
"But Dad..kaise?" Sid asked, his tone desparate. "You know dad, mere galti kya hai, that I trusted that manager and...arre woh toh aaj mere khilaaf case file karne jaa rahi thhi.."
"Kya? Tere against? Case?"
"Haan Dad, woh toh bas maine usse kaha ki main Siddharth Khurana, I am khudse, baat karunga nad will solve this issue and..."
"Lo! Baat bilkul seedhi hai, aurr tu ainvayi hi darr raha hai!" chuckled Mr. Khurana.
"Dad!" Sid whined, "..baat kis angle se seedhi lag rahi hai aapko?"
"Dekh beta, woh toh jaa rahi thhi na case file karne, ruki kyon? Because she trusts you silly boy!" replied Mr. Khurana.
Sid pondered over the fact and realized what actually his Dad was trying to say. Roshini trusted him, yes. She didn't file the case against Siddharth Khurana, why, because he had ask her not to.
"Ab tujhe sirf ek kaam karna hai!"
"Kya?"
"Usse sab sach bata de! Tell her the truth!"
"Dad..kya baat kar rahe ho? Maar daalegi woh mujhe! Phhir aapke sapno ka kya hoga?"
"Arre tu..ek minute...mere sapne? Kaunse sapne bhai?"
"Kyon aapko Dada Ji nahi bananna?" Sid smirked.
"Haan woh...Sid!!" Mr. Khurana glared.
"Theek hai, Dad. I'll tell her the truth, apne pehle pyaar ko kho nahi sakta par iss pyaar ki shuruvat jhoot se nahi hogi!"
"Yeh hui na mere bete waali baat! Now go and get your girl!" Mr. Khurana winked at him and left his cabin, leaving behind a contemplating and smiling Sid, as in Siddharth Khurana.
"Kitna fark hai na dono mein! Ek tarah Sid hai, jo har waqt meri help karta hai, aurr doosri taraf woh Siddharth Khuran. I hope Sid sab theek kar de!" Roshini thought.
"Arre Roshini Didi..." Muniya came running inside the NGO home.
"Kya hua Muniya? Tun aise..?" asked Roshini, concerned.
"Didi, yeh..yeh letter aaya hai..Khurana office se!" Muniya informed. He was panting but one could recognize the worry in his tone.
"Shayad.." Roshini just stopped thinking and opened the letter. When she read its contents, she was just shocked.
"Didi kya hua? Yeh..kya likha hai letter mein?" asked Muniya.
"Apology.." Roshini trailed off.
"Kya?" Muniya asked.
"Apology letter Muniya..Sid Khurana ne..I mean.." Roshini grinned and laughed in excitement and utter joy.
"Oh my God!! Iska matlab...Muniya, ab hamare ghar ko kuch nahi hoga..!! Yu-hoo.." Roshini jumped danced.
"Sachi?"
"Haan Muniya, yeh letter Siddharth Khurana ne bheja hai...usne likha hai ki, usse nahi pata thha ki uska woh ghatiya manager uske peeth peeche kya kar raha thha, because he was in London and just came back two days ago. Usne sorry bola hai and assure kiya hai that ab hamaare ghar ko kuch nahi hoga and haan..usne kal milne ke liye bulaya hai mujhe. Uske office mein.."
"Didi...sab theek hai, lekin yeh milne ke liye bulana..uske office mein!"
"Haan par, ab usne milne bulaya hai toh..dekh lete hain na Muniya..ki kya hota hai.." trailed off Roshini, confused.
"Agar usne kuch kiya... toh..?"
Roshini was about to answer Muniya, but a beep interrupted her. It was tone, she selected for her mail notifications at her iPad.
Roshini read that mail, loud, "I hope you won't mind meeting me alone. Don't worry I won't do anything. I promise. Siddharth Khurana."
"Par Didi.., aisa karte hain ki main aapke saath chalta hoon." Muniya suggested. Again when Roshini was about to answer Muniya, she got interrupted by another mail notification.
"You can trust me. But if you want, tum kissike saath aa janaa, but I really want to meet you at my office. Kuch zaroori batein karni hain. Siddharth Khurana"
"Yeh...isse kaise pata ki main kis baat par confuse hoon?" Roshini thought, and there came another mail.
"Zyada socho mat! Normal hai..confuse hona. Siddharth Khuran :D"
"Ajeeb hai..." she spelled out, and there she got the record breaker mail.
"Toh phhir milte hai, kal subah, mere office mein, 9 baje! I'll be waiting :p Siddharth Khurana :D"
Roshini just closed her iPad, not wanting another mail to confuse her and make her change her decision.
"Toh phhir milte hai, Mr. Khurana.." she thought and smiled.
For the nth time, Sid adjusted his tie and combed his hair, "Bas ab tumhara intezaar hai Roshini.." he thought and just then his phone rang.
"Sir, Miss Roshini Patel aa gayi hain. Aap free hain toh.." Sid interrupted the receptionist and said, "Send her to my cabin.", he smiled. He sat on the chair, and just in few minutes he heard a knock at the door.
Before he could say "Come in" or actually go and let her inside, he thought of something else, smirked and twirled his chair so that he was facing the wall, and Roshini would only get to see his back.
"Mr. Khurana.." came Roshini and her hesitant voice.
"Yeah come-in. Have a seat." Sid tried to manipulate his voice so that Roshini won't be able to recognize his voice.
"You wanted to meet me, Mr. Khurana! Kya baat karni thhi aapko?"
"I am sorry.."
"Ji?"
"I am really sorry! Mujhe dhyaan dena chahiye thha ki woh manager...I am really sorry for that!"
"Aap baar baar sorry..kyon? It's OK!"
"Is it really OK, bhagyashree?" Sid smiled, he still had his back, facing Roshini.
"Bhagyashree?" Roshini muttered, out loud. As expected, the name had hit the bull's eyes.
"Sid?" spoke Roshini, uncertain.
Sid twirled on his chair and turned around, now facing Roshini whose eyes wide, "Bolo na Bhagyashree, sorry Roshini..is it OK between us?"
"Tum...Oh God, mujhe pehle samajh kyon nahi aaya! Sid, matlab short name for Siddharth..! Crap!" yelled Roshini.
"Tumne mujhe pehle kyon nahi bataya?" she asked moving a step ahead towards Sid.
"Jaise mujhe bada pata thha that you are the one who was sending me those weird mails.." Sid also moved a step ahead towards Roshini.
"Toh tum kaunsa kam ho? What's bawari poonch by the way?" another step.
"Mujhe bhi nahi pata!" He shrugged and moved a step closer.
"Sid...tumne mujhse jhoot kyon bola? Ki tum Siddharth Kh..I mean khud ke hi employee ho and all that?"Roshini said, moving one more step towards Sid.
"Agar tab batata na, toh tum maar dalti mujhe! Mere against case toh file karne jaa hi rahi thhi tum.." one step more. And they stood closer than before.
"Woh..main..! Achha, toh tum pehle bhi baat kar sakte thhe na, jab I started sending you mails?"
"Wahi toh galati hogayi! I am really sorry Roshini, maine tumse milkar baat karne ki jagah..I trusted that manager Mr. Gupta, I swear main kabhi kissiko beghar karke wahan hotel nahi banana waala thha..it's just..."
"Sid..relax..I trust you!"
"You do?"
"I do." And now, they stood so close that just one more step and there will be no space between them. When Roshini realized that how close they stood, she got embarrassed. Backing away, she was about to walk out of the cabin, but Sid stopped her;
"Roshini, main yeh kehna chata thh ki..I.." but Roshini interrupted him.
"Itni jaldi nahi Sid..please!"
"Filhaal, hum friends toh ban sakte hain?"
"Yeah, friends!" she smiled.
"Friends...but for starters only.."
Roshini smiled shyly and blushed lightly and nodded in positive, before walking out of Sid's cabin, who just grinned and grinned and kept on grinning!
