Roshni and Siddharth woke up early the next morning. Well.. for Siddharth it was early. Roshni had warned him that DD didn't like people who woke up late.

"Sid how's this..in order to impress DD how about you go out even before me that way she'll be impressed" Roshni told Sid.

"Good idea" Sid told Roshni with a wink. Roshni blushed and said, "Jaao na!"

"Okay" Sid said placing a kiss on his wife's cheek.

Roshni pretended to be angry and threw a pillow at him. "Goo..now!"

Giving his wife a salute of obedience, Sid went out to impress his Mother-In-Law.

As usual, DD was reading a newspaper at the breakfast table when she noticed Sid walking down the stairs.

No one was up yet but Sid was. Quite impressive. DD controlled her smile and said, "You're up? What a surprise."

"How come?" Sid asked her sweetly while sitting down on a chair right next to DD. She just looked at him top to bottom to explain her point.

"You know you're right" Sid told his MIL. "A cheerful person like me, you wouldn't expect to be up at this time of day."

DD raised her eyebrow in surprise.

"Yes I admit I admit" Sid said. "That's what people may think of me..but fortunately, I'm an early bird!" he exclaimed happily.

Suddenly, he yawned. DD stared at him. "Natural reaction" Siddharth said with a jokey smile.

"Useless" DD mumbled as she turned a page and picked up her cup of coffee.

"Ya Mom, reading a newspaper at breakfast is useless" Sid said in agreement.

"You idiot" DD cried. "Stop blabbering!!"

"Why do everyone sit at together to eat at a table?" Sid suddenly asked her.

DD remained quiet.

"Because it's a time where the whole family gets together" Sid explained. "And we should be allowed to talk!"

"It's against my rules to talk" DD muttered.

"Ha rules!" Sid said. "You are talking with me right now."

"In my case it is different." DD told him.

"You may be head of this family mom, but this is a family because it has people in it." "One person is not a family." Sid informed DD. "Therefore, everyone should be treated equally!"

DD stayed quiet. Soon, Roshni and the others joined them at the breakfast table.

"Cake!" Chachi exclaimed.

"Umm no.." Sid told her pushing the plate away. "Chachi, as the Jamai of this house, it is my duty to take care of everyone and so I cannot allow this."

"Allow what?" Chachi asked innocently.

"Junk food is not good for your future and current health" Sid informed her.

"Junk food?" Chachi asked him. "It's a cake!" she told him.

"No sorry Chachi Ji, why don't you sit down while Ramu Bhaiya here brings you a healthy breakfast" Sid said while gesturing for the servant to go get some food for Chachi.

Chachi Ji looked towards Nani Ji and smiled. Finally there was someone in this family who cared for her health and had done something for her.

Immediately after breakfast, Siddharth and Roshni left together so that Rosh could start her new life in her new home.

Sid's Mom and Dad welcomed their bahu with lots of love and care.

When Roshni bent down to take their blessings, they stopped her midway.

"Na beta" her MIL told her kindly. "Don't you ever think of me as a typical Saas or your FIL as a typical Sasur." "We are now your parents."

"Ji" Roshni replied shyly. And so finally they went on to complete the rest of the rituals.

When time came for Roshni to make a dish for the whole family, she had no idea how to make one. Living under DD's shadow, she had never been allowed to enter her own kitchen. DD thought of it as low standard.

Roshni smiled helplessly when Mom told her to go make them all a sweet dish. Sid noticed her discomfort and immediately told his mother the problem.

Surprisingly for Roshni, her Mother-In-Law stepped right up to teach her how to make halwa. "Don't worry honey" she told Roshni. "I will teach you myself how to make ghar ka khaana."

Roshni looked at her Father-in-law to see his reaction, but he just smiled kindly at her and joked, "My wife does like to make tasteless food, just don't you forget to add a lot of sugar.."

"You!" Mom said angrily, "I do that for your own good!" "Sugar is not good for your health!"

Siddharth decided to stay back home that day as it was the first day after his marriage, but Roshni seemed to disagree. "I don't want your work to get delayed because of me and no..I won't get bored." "Mom, doesn't mind me spending my time in the NGO with my kids."

Sid suddenly smiled brightly. "Kids.." he said dreamily. Roshni snapped at him, "Sid!"

"Hey, how about I come to the NGO with you today?" Sid asked her.

"That's actually a wonderful idea!" Roshni exclaimed.

"Bye kiddos" their parents said bidding bye to them as they left for the day.

The children were surprised to see the newly wedded couple here just to look after them. They felt bad about it so they angrily told them to go spend the day together and they could look after themselves just fine as they had an older brother to look after them.

Sid and Roshni saw that the little kids were so angry that they decided it best oblige.

Sid decided to take Roshni to his hotel with him. That way she could see his hotel and they could have a lunch date together.

Hmm..they go out and DD not there? It's not possible. A few minutes into their lunch date, they saw DD entering with a few of her clients from work. Apparently, she had decided to take them out for lunch. She seemed annoyed to have chosen this hotel but had no other choice now, as it was a matter of her reputation.

"Waiter, I had booked a table here, please take us there" DD ordered loudly.

The waiter nervously said, "I am sorry Mam but there was a slight misunderstanding and we booked two customers for one table."

"What rubbish is this!" DD snapped. "Don't you see I have important clients here?" "Mam am very sorry.."

"Call the manager over here" DD said. "Wait no-call the owner itself over here!"

The waiter nervously agreed and went up to Sid. "Sir, a customer wants to meet you because of the misunderstanding I told you about this morning on the phone."

Siddharth looked over towards the entrance to see DD and grinned.

Roshni followed Sid's gaze over to her mother. She was shocked to find her mother there.

Sid went up to DD and said, "You know..if you don't mind you may join us at our table, there is enough room for everyone there!"

The clients looked confused. "Ah..seems you don't know guys, I am DD's Jamai" Sid said winking at DD.

"Wow..really..well pleasure to meet you!" a client exclaimed eagerly.

"I called the boss over not you" DD told Sid rudely.
