After all the stupid reasons given for the biggest theme of the show, Nivedita's reason to marry N has to be even more stupid.

Reason for the main theme - He thinks she did not tell him about the phone call and she thinks he has an illegitimate kid and they do not talk to clear things up, so they divorce. They can produce babies like bunnies but they can't talk, so they divorce. Haha.

Reason for Nivedita's actions - this is a side plot, so it should be even more stupid and less logical.

Pam and her rantings and Nivedita's drama are given more time than N and R's getting back together. The episodes that mattered the most, where NR realize their mistakes and try to patch up, were so rushed.

Rupali did not want her parents to know about Suhani about her being pregnant out of marriage, that is why she wanted N to keep it a secret even from R and all misunderstanding between them started. Maybe they did come to know about Suhani eventually
