Nivedita's motive in wanting to marry Neil

I keep wondering what could Nivedita's motive be in wanting to marry Neil. It is not love - that's been depicted clearly. The 2 reasons I can think of are 1. Neil's money and 2. something to do with Roopali's inheritance and custody of Suhaani.

Any other thoughts? Please share.

Yes, she is very keen to marry Neil and it is not love!

I have to discount Neil's money, as she seems to be pretty well off herself. And has the potential to earn lots of money as an attorney.

Her motive is related to Suhani, but I can't imagine her just wanting custody of her niece because they belong together as a family and Nive loves her. No! she is there to take revenge, the actress was once quoted as saying.

From Ragini and Neil? Marry Neil and force NR apart forever, because she holds both of them responsible for her sister's death perhaps?

And once married to Neil, make his life hell?

I think its only revenge as she may consider both of them responsible for her sisters condition and death.

Rupali was Nachikets girlfriend, and she wanted to marry him, but he did not marry her and she went away. Nachiket married Ragini. So she must be wanting to get back at both NR.

She feels no love for Suhani at all, she is ready to use Suhani as a pawn to meet her ends.

Revenge for what - she must know from Suhaani that Raghini never got the phone call and that Nachiket and Raghini separated on account of Suhaani. Moreover Suhaani is not even Nachiket's daughter. Could it be that her parents disinherited her and left all the money to Suhaani and she is looking to marry Nachiket to get custody of Suhaani and her money - is it really soo far off. I cannot think of anything else that makes sense :(

Even I think the same. She possibly does not love him, that is clear, and regarding Suhani, Suhani is just a pawn for her. Maybe she is in a financial mess, and thus wanting to get herself cleared out of it.

Nivedita definitely doesn't love Neil irrespective of what she told him during her entry that he is the kidn of guy whom she always liked and would love to settle down with. If that was the case, she would not have waited for so long to spread her tentacles.

Again, she was aware of Suhaani being with Neil and family all this while. If she indeed wanted to get Suhaani back, she could have tried earlier, and not waited for so long. It's not that she started practising now.

Definitely, she has something up her sleeves and it could well be revenge. She holds both N and R resposnible for Rupali's death (directly and indirectly) and does not want NR to be united and happy.

I am sure she realises that Neil cares two hoots about her and any sane person would want to avoid gettign trapepd in this thankless relationship. But she is acting on her plan now.

Furtehr, I think her parents left the entire inheritance tied to Suhaani and this is one of way for Nive to be associated with ehr, so that she could get her share and enjoy Suhaani's share as well.

I think Nivedita wanted revenge ...she wants to separate NR so that both NR live their life all alone, devastated and without any love n peace.

I suppose, she must be thinking that Neil ditched Roopali after using her or roaming with her for 2 years and then Roopali's heart broke and she made blunders in her life. And then Neil loved Ragini and married to her so according to Nivedita's perception Ragini came in between Neil and Roopali.

So NR are responsible for Roopali's miserable life... Thats our Nivedita.

Rupali did not want her parents to know about Suhani about her being pregnant out of marriage, that is why she wanted N to keep it a secret even from R and all misunderstanding between them started. Maybe they did come to know about Suhani eventually.

i think that later roopali's parents did come to know about it and in regret for not being there for the kid her father handed over everything to suhani..but they had no idea where suhani was ..one of BT ka another illogical version...but nivedita found out and now she wants suhani in her life to take ove rthe property as her mother and later get everything in her name...hence she is so desperate to marry neil inspite of knowing it is a doom from day one whether the misunderstanding between neil and ragini had cleared up or not...

i do not think she cared for her sister at all to take revenge or else she would have been super possessive about suhani and not used her to achieve her goal...
