Short episode.. only 1 more to go.. from 3 years of wishing and praying for a return to 3 weeks of analysis (err polite term for the cribbing we do) of new content.. to the wait of 3 days for the final opportunity to give us one new unforgettable scene.. time does fly, even though we don't move on..

So, Arnav bitwa has started calling Khushi's mom amma..

Finally Barun and Sanaya in the same frame.. sigh..

They also got ASR to get angry a bit.. but sadly Barun's acting fails to touch me this time round.. I try to find even a glimpse of something more under the surface, but there is a void. The expressions are alien to my memory of ASR. Even when he sprints up the stairs (a thing which we could earlier watch on repeat) did nothing for the fangirl glands in me.. he simply ran.. when earlier each muscle would have screamed urgency and haste to meet Khushi.

Sanaya's new look and feel is more sanayaish than Khushish.. but atleast she has given up those 'loose tents' as Sohara had termed her clothes. So, am not complaining here.

P.S - There is one moment when he stands outside the door.. and his voice dips when he admits he missed her.. In that second I could close my eyes and imagine this is the same love story I love to distraction.

P.P.S - So Akash and Payal live separately, nani has a room in chote's house, mami said bye bye and left so stays separately and di is talking on the phone and sending gifts via the ever important h p so stays separately too.. From hum sath sath hai this family has become nuclear.

Once upon a time...ASR enlightened us with the great trade secret of stealing a big deal..

itna ucchalna mat that you look desperate to the client..

we.. the mad fans ucchaled so much for 3 years that we looked outrageously desperate to our clients.. that we got this raw deal now...called jashn...😆.

agree every bit..they are barun, sanaya not asr/ Khushi.

Khushi and curls never sat well with me.. ). but glimpses here and there.. after three years and giving up on seeing them together again.. the reverse retro dance.. when she was coming on him.. that bamboo spring body language of his .. very reminiscent of the same when she brought Shyam back..

and that dip in voice in the end...

a continuous narration from him, the utmost taciturn man, is the biggest flaw... they could have brought her on from the start and wrapped it up in 2/3 episodes... than trying to milk the cow for too long with FBs

the camera angles... there were only two cameras, one behind him and one behind her... they both hardly fitting into one frame..I hope they work on it for the next epi...

This can neither remind nor erase the original fortunately..

I liked the anger and familiar advance and retreat, but can't connect with Barun's portrayal of ASR. I can't get it.. Even in the pretty badly put together Main aur Mr Right, he manages to leave his mark. How can this man not make me believe that he is really angry for a minute their at his wife?

Great idea that ASR being chatty is the problem. You know, in my first OS I made him talkative in his mind and had it in his point of view.. now, I realize, on screen it would have not worked at all, even though when I wrote it I was so happy with it.
