Agree with everything you have said. It is indeed saddening Khushi saying NO after he owned her space, her...the way he did just the day before.. that many traditional patis married with the most elaborate rituals may not do. Yes, I cried too with him/ for him..Not becos he was deprived of some physical pleasures but what he took for granted so mcuh... that she is HIS.. his wife... where he had NO place where she didn't have... and she would push him afar almost saying we are NOTHING to each other??!!!

Cant agree more about that underlined. He didn't marry her becos all of a sudden he started believing in rituals.. but he started believing...accepting.. some thing even more important.. the love for your partner..

ASR and women is the most fascinating of all. Each woman under that roof had an exclusive place and respected, heard in their own way.

I wondered many a times, why this rather angst filled, rude at times man comes across most perfect... its all to do with his conviction as you said and the being utmost genuine from where I saw...

Exactly in red. He changed his belief system some years ago, and that successfully made him powerful, respected. Now this girl comes and her infectious innocence shakes and almost uproots his belief system and he had to go through what all he had to accept her.. to accept himself...

The reality of asli duniya may be closer to him than her, but he assures her NOT to change... and does what all is needed to protect that innocence.. as he very well knows that its a rare commodity.. may be almost getting extinct... a need to save and treasure!
