Shanaya Kapoor’s birthday dump gives a peek into her laid-back celebration on a yacht

While the film industry celebrated Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2, another star marked her special day more quietly. Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor, turned a year older and chose to spend her birthday away from the spotlight, celebrating with close friends and her pet on a yacht.

The actor shared a few glimpses from her celebration on Instagram, captioning the post, “The only birthday photos I took this year, my camera roll couldn’t keep up with the fun!! Thank you for all the love!” The post featured Shanaya enjoying the calm of the sea, dressed casually, with her dog by her side. The relaxed setting and candid pictures reflected her preference for low-key celebrations.

Speaking about how she likes to spend her birthday, Shanaya said she never opts for extravagant parties. “I don’t like to go OTT with my birthdays. Just a nice dinner with my loved ones is exactly how I like to spend the day. I want it to be easy and relaxed — chill vibes, good food, and me just enjoying the moment with family and friends. That’s what makes the day special for me,” she shared in an earlier interview.

The serene yacht pictures gave fans a peek into her calm, grounded side, far from the usual Bollywood glamour. Many followers dropped comments calling her celebration “refreshing” and “real,” appreciating her understated approach to fame.

On the professional front, Shanaya recently made her debut in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey. Although the film did not perform strongly at the box office, her performance was noted for promise and sincerity. She also made a brief appearance in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.

Shanaya will next be seen in Tu Yaa Main, directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions in association with Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios. The film stars her opposite Adarsh Gourav. Reports also suggest she might feature in Student of the Year 3 in a double role, though the makers have yet to confirm it.
