uh huh, they are both masakali in a way and so is ipk... i am shallow and enjoyed the lusty yay yay coming on the man taking off his shades. most of the song just fell into pace on its own... the feel. the pauses, the rise of music, even that badal ki colony. honestly, zero work on the sound side i did...

you like the black and whites and the interspersing of eyes closing opening? oh the basic shots are so strong, see them just like that again an again, raw, no touchuppiya, they get you. that falling into his arms, honestly as momentous as anything i have ever seen in the man woman category, more than most, famous man woman shots flash through the mind... it's classic and beyond.

this is for the third anniversary of course, so it's mainly on the first episode. there are no titles, because i haven't figured that out as yet... made it on imovie on my mac... engrossing. wish i had hd material.

there was always a sense of flight in ipk. no matter how much it hurt, no matter how much you cried, something flew in its being... cool, spare, winging... certainly irreverant... yay. my first vm is a tribute to that. the song is a favourite, i feel it has all of that. i listened to mohit chauhan because barun mentioned him in an interview... 😳 fell for the voice.

Its a beautiful Vm, the mixing of the clips, the black and white ones are special because you begin and end with them...the flying kabootars and the flying pearls. The choice of the song is so apt. i am now only thinking vm... it was fun making it... but it was being jelly of you to use sohara's word that got me to finally look at the imopvie sitting on my desktop these past many years... so catalyst ji, namashkar.

it is not as hard as one thinks... i kept my expectations very low, allowed me to make it. i think asr and khushi are good for us. ki bolo? and i adoring black and white you naats knowings, that is bhy i am lubhings the b/w film types asr... actually i adore asr's asrness. without it... aaargh no me no can take sweetness.

i was thinking of his state after finding out about khushi's engagement... cutting his hand in his anger and fury, no idea why farq padta hai, going red hot angry and full of a shade of abhimaan that only men like asr can have and not look bad with... i felt my mind slipping out of the office and get wrapped in some sort of lyrical chaos... some day maybe a vm or a one shot this will bring out in me. blessing i tell ya.
