Do away with the rulebook and let people be. According to the rules of this site, I have to be of a certain age to join it and in my book my that age you should have taken your head out of the sand and smelt the wind already i.e. you should know about sex and more importantly (at least for me) know what you want and what you dont.

Also subjectivity wont hurt anyone...cos sex can also mean two things, you know. Pehle padho toh, phir socho toh, phir action lo lena hai toh. Sab kuch ek nahin hota naahi ek tareeke se dekha jaa sakta hai and yeh samajhne ki baat hai.

Bottom line is this- the rulebook sucks and it needs a change. The rule enforcement process ditto. Now, I'll say this- change it to make sense, and be fair in enforcing the rules, and I for one, will be a model citizen.

Maybe the post should have been about changing the rules, maybe not. I have no say in that. But yes, I do believe that the rule book should be done away with completely if not changed drastically.

That is EXACTLY what we're getting at here, only the the statement in bold seems to be coming from the Mods.

We don't go around reporting other people's posts, flagging them as offensive, or even READING things that offend us.

And that isn't because we don't KNOW about other people's posts. We just choose to ignore them as being no concern of ours. And trust me, we KNOW how silly the rules are anyway.

So the question is, why exactly are WE getting pulled up for so-called non-compliance to these rules? If anybody else has been targeted similarly, and unfairly so, this is an opportunity for them to speak up.

The very NATURE of our non-compliance is debatable. But locking the thread leaves no room for such debate.

And I am obviously not talking fan fiction here.

Sadly, when such people become moderators, they continue to play with the entire forum, for such virtual relationships. Some may even get a thread deleted from the Forum's database. i wonder if some may even give away the password and help mischief..

They disrespect the thoughts and voice of one person in favor of another. :(

There is no accountability for adherence to rules demanded by the Forum and none given.
