In both cases Khushi was a tigress in original when she told Shyam, "To aap Anjali di ko chor kyun nehi dete." and in the remarriage when she tells Dadi," Aap hamari amma se aise baat nehi kar sakte." In both days someone was manipulating to create misunderstanding in Arnav's mind, on the first one Shyam and in the second one Dadi. But in both cases he still came back to Khushi. It was only when he came back and said " Kaha tha na ji nehi sakta tumhare bina." did I understand why he married her the first time- because he could not live without her even when he hated her.
@ Ami saw your post and I agree that Dupatta seemed to have a voice of her own during their wedding. However in all other instances Arnav looks at the dupatta however during wedding he looks away reminding me of a song

@ Durga read about Khushi's breakdown and I agree that breakdown after everyone left her was just heart wrenching. I was sitting and appreciating Sanaya's acting. Khushi's breakdowns like during diwali and kidnapping were just epic. It just made me understand that when a wrongdoer is left alone someone who is an innocent bystander gets the burnt. In all of Khushi's breakdown the only fault I could see was her loving Arnav as she said," Kuch cheez bas aise ho jate hain, bina soche, bina samjhe."
@ supi, Indi, Arshi, kathelyn, wiwy, horizon, Salooni, sohara loved your ARSHI collages.
@Cynthia and Anita read your posts and would comment after my exam.
@ everyone I would have probably a nervous breakdown if I do not post before my exam.

Thnx samin for sharing this yes ...in IPK world we have all the repeating scenes and moments and that's why FBs were important...

Indeed he can't live withput her now or in future or ever as he said "Arnav aur Khushi khabi alag nahin ho sakte..."

Yes, Daljeet some how pulled it off so very well all those otherwise invasive stuff for a bro-sis. I felt thats true for everyone else there, how could we put up with let alone like some one in tight chudis and salwar with pompoms with an asymmetric plait with crazy words and actions, or a business tycoon with barely 2/3 dry cleaned suits and a bitter tongue...all these actors greatly jelled with and literally lived those characters that we could look away from the superficial!

Karan, with his acting abilities and looks could very well be a lead of a prime time show. I hope he bags one soon.

Thanks to this man in white, I like white now like I never did.. and u know what I thought it could in fact be a Fendi peek a boo tote that Mrs KKGSR proudly filled with tomatoes... may be she was too lost in another peek a boo by that time ..:). But I do wish you own that some time as Takashimaya came to my thoughts this morning after some one passed by with a familiar perfume that I some how associated with SG/ that Mall! Its amazing how scents bring back some strong memories.. like the very familar scent pervading this thread bringing back even so dear memories!

ha ha that description of miss tight choodi, i freaked when i saw her the first time. who is this weirdo, i thought. and then of course got so smitten, wanted him to design a pom pom line...

the tycoon from the fashion industry with barely any clothes, scuffed shoes fakely hermes, and chipped furniture accentuated by funny bric-a-brac in his room, what about the basic suv he drives... but you know he again reminded me how unnecessary the brands and names really are... if you are ze nasty tycoon with ze deadly heart and the ultimate sexiness, who needs anything else.

but anjali always had a great wardrobe and felt "real" in her context. that was nice. i heard daljeet got her own clothes. 😆.

but it was really about the love they give their characters and each other.

i thought exactlky that about karan g... good for male lead. and if he wishes to, he can turn up the sexiness i bet. plus, he does feel like a guy who's "hungry" as they say... will give it all. somehow akshay never ever gave me that feeling.

and takashimaya, oh you remember? 😃... the basement was my shrine, just walking around it would elevate me to another plane, calm me down, the nicest crockery all around. then they desecrated it and wedgwood shut down, so did royal doultan and others, royal copenhagen moved out... nothing remains the same, and magic must fly away. about the peek-a-boo, i am cured of the need thanks to that reference you made. and if that teda choti shoved tamatar into a genuine fendi p-a-b, i swear i'll throttle her.

smells really trigger memory... i seem to have a strong sense of it. sometimes drives me bats.

Thnx for being so concerned...I am having flu and as I don't care most of the time ...had high fever yesterday ..came home and slept throughout night, woke up 4 a:m and then again got ready for work.Feeling a bit better as it will take some time...only Breathing is hard because of congestion...

@I, Horizon and Indi lovely chat...as headach doesn't permit to read but definitely there is a lot to ponder...Really awesome points about Anjali and her changed avatar later ...a huge difference from Teej till kidnapping...

So true without channel Mehrbanis...and lack of interest ...stupid clothing and all why are we here and why Channel is so afraid for their new show and they have urge to take off all the IPK videos from YT...

I can feel Kat and her kids and their agony with this...it's a weather here.I always have this twice a year as I am in between kids all day long and even they are not small but they don't want to grow up either.

Aug, Sept ...and March /April are two killers here , high pollen, and all increases these issues...

i know what you mean. i started watching in october or something around diwali... i knew his name. he was sexy even in funny shraddha... i also knew he had a thing about being called barun and not varun.

had seen him in baat at times, but somehow "cute" isn't my thing, also story didn't charm me, though yes, there were slashes and slivers of the man he could be in baat too and he did do a fine interpretation there as well i later realised, making a not to well nuanced and conceived character, most memorable.

but in ipk, it was all about his incalculable hotness for me till the wedding. or so i thought.

the scene where i jumped up, literally, to a sitting pose from a very supine one, was when he slowly, very slowly, turned away from the scene of khushi in another man's arms... not a word, that going away of facial contours issk has spoken of, and everything said by his eyes.

he became stunned lover, hurt boy, heartbroken man, angry tycoon, all at once. disillusionment had never been spelt out so beautifully or heartbreakingly. you could almost see the curtains falling away to reveal the "truth."

i can't tell you how bad i felt for the man.

then i said to myself, hold it, it's a tv show, you can't feel so much for it. yet i did.

i realised i was looking at an actor then. that's what he was... not just a sexy fellow that i gazed at for his animal appeal.

i worked back and realised all along it was the actor... the other appeal is inherent in him... this one is his talent and he is willing to give it his all... even if he may not know it. uff eeven that is hot hot.

and this scene, durga, can i think of even one other actor who can take it here without shades of melodrama seeping in?

Thnx but the problem is we mothers has to do everything and I wish I had a daughter like you...I am not complaining ...my idiots do care of me but they are busy too with their work...I don't bother anyone...

I am better now...flu and cold take time ...to go away as weather is not favorable...sometimes we have jackets and today AC was on...so imagine ...and that's what makes us sick...
