Your IPK story - Viewbies Note: P10/21 - Page 8

Well I am a member here past from few years.. Irony i used to watch a soap called 'Kasturi' long years back and thats how i was active in IF.. And i left IF truly for personal reasons and most importantly i felt silly of myself watching Soaps and discussing about them on Internet.. Totally wasted of time indulging in something that is not truly useful in life .. Typical saggitarious capricorn cusp i am.. And all these years after i completely changed .. I am a movie freak who watches Anurag Kashyap's Movies.. My thing of entertainment is watching trailers of movies and wait to hit theaters.. I am total movie buff .. Download Hollywood or Bollywood movies and watch them in free time is my kind of stress buster..

I am very late to see this post & everyone has voiced out my opinions... Nothing new to add... But still wld like to appreciate u for creating such a good post that brushes up the memories of IPK. I started to watch the serial by the end of March.

This thread was closed early in the morning today (IST) and the sole reason behind doing that was because the DT wanted to review this thread once and that has been completed now.

We would like to point at a few things before we let you all go back to discussing your stories.

• Refrain from making ANY direct or indirect comment at another member. Be it the ones who posted spoilers that were fake or anything else. They are members of this forum too eventhough they have left India-Forums but still, we do not allow any such comments against another member.
• Secondly, please refrain from bringing in other actors as well. KSG has nothing to do with IPKKND or your story of IPKKND. Even if you're trying to be funny, please some members don't understand the wit and think you're mocking the other actor.
• Lastly, when Barun was not bashed here at all, comments stating that he must have been bashed in this thread are completely uncalled for. Please take the time of going through the thread once before posting any such thing that instigates a fight or anger the TM about something that was never said. Everyone here has genuinely posted constructive criticism about SI and BS.

If you may have any concerns or questions in regards to the points mentioned above, please don't hesitate from PMing the DT members.

*Edited* I had forgotten to add that this note in no way points a finger at anyone that's why the posts have been removed and then the thread is left open. And if anyone knows who the point is for, please don't mention that here and insult the member in any way.

What did IPK mean to me?

A great show of course. I was crazy over Kaisa yeh pyaar hai in 2004, and after that nothing impressed me that much. A girl from my college bus told me there's this new show that has hate and love element and that impressed me and hence I began watching right away.

How did I find IF?

My sister would read the written updates of Kis Desh and that's how I came to about it.

Did you even like IPK?

I did. When they had this hate for each other. Also when he tried wooing her. Frankly not after. I felt something was clearly amiss.

Barun Sobti?

A guy who made ASR worth a character. It's not easy to variate himself entirely for a character that is completely contrary to him. Handsome and charming, have seen his chivalry and I like him as a human being than actor.

Sanaya Irani?

Not much of a fan. Friends have always said she shows too much skin and I think that was the block for me to like her. But who are we to judge her anyways! She has all the right to be. But I'm not welcoming her exactly for that factor alone. But she's pretty and I like her again for sticking into TV and for being sweet and simple. She clearly did a fine job as Khushi.

First scene I saw was-khushi washing clothes near pool & then the first rabba ve I heard when ASR becomes speechless when Khushi's hair touches his face. I was impressed. Then I didnt watch the rest of the episodes. Next I saw ASR calling khushi without voice but khushi catches that and turns. I saw brilliant expressions on ASR'S face. It told me everything. Their love is eternal and I went mad over it and kept searching for IPK everywhere. Thats how I landed into IF.

I never knew BS & SI before. I actually didnt know hindi shows at all. But now IPK is something which is beyond entertainment. It is a dream love that everyone craves for (which rarely happens in real life). I definitely want a man like ASR/Arnav in my life. There was a magic. We all loved IPK completely till march as every single character contributed to it. But later CVs started to bank upon arshi's chemistry alone and hence we started to bash anyone who comes inbetween arshi. Had the CVs did justice to other characters, as in the initial episodes, we would have accepted all the tracks. Sadly they failed to shape up other charcters after hate marriage and it only worsened further.

Coming to all the fiasco occured, as a selfish arshi fan I am sad that barun got movie offers before IPK ended the way we all wanted. Though I understand how frustated barun was with the hectic shooting schedules, I wished barun to stay as its ASR that character gave him so much popularity. ASR is an epic character that doesnt happen everytime. But as an unconditional lover for the man who gave me ASR to dream, I pray to God for him to reach greater heights in his future career. Let all his dreams be fulfilled.

Had the SP & PH handled barun's quitting well, all this mess wld have never occured. When barun gave the notice in sept, they shld have officially announced the show's ending (as there is no arshi without sarun & no IPK without arshi) in november and shld have planned the tracks towards a happy ending. Instead they tried to kill arshi love story and tried to drag the serial without barun and hence they covered up till the last minute butchering all the characters :(

Initially I was in love only with arshi. But now I love sarun too. Wish both of them bright careers. Will try to watch CC for sanaya. But after IPK happened, every serial seems reel as IPK had some life in it & it was magical. I will always wish for season 2 to happen one day as IPK was the only thing which I loved so much. Every passing day without arshi & rabbave is very painful.
