OK here goes:

What did IPK mean to me?

It was the ONLY Indian show I enjoyed watching, of my own volition. For me it stood, at the beginning anyway, as a benchmark for romance and entertainment in Indian TV.

How did I find IF?

I actually looked for FF on the show because I didn't want to watch it when the hate marriage happened. Then I found the main forum, but didn't really interact with anyone until the last few months of the show..

Did you even like IPK?

I did, without a doubt. I loved it from October to January, thought it was the best thing ever: the actors did a great job, the script, the production, the crew; everything was perfect and it showed. The simple love story drew me in...sigh.

Barun Sobti?

I loved ASR, I didn't really think about Barun Sobti, though I was curious about the actor playing him. I had a lot of admiration for him at the start because he played the character well. Then what happened, happened and to cut a long story short as a result of events past and his behaviour and role in them I don't have respect for him as a fan anymore. I appreciate the amazing ASR he gave at the start, but...oh well.

Sanaya Irani?

Very under-rated, but gave an amazing Khushi. A consummate professional who worked hard and gave her best despite the poor clothes and the creative machete used on her character. She was just perfect...need I say more?

IPK led me to a bunch of fabulous people that I interact with, I have awesome memories of the show and I loved reading stories based on these 2 characters. Yes it did become messy at the end, but...it was a good time while it lasted...

IPK was the only show I watched till it ended ( it is a difft matter that I wouldnt have seen it beyond when it actually ended if it hadnt closed)

I saw IPK by chance while changing channels...and Barun Sobtis acting had me hooked. I didnt know who he was and was shocked that we had such a talented actor on TV.

I knew Sanaya having watched MJHT briefly and wasnt very impressed by her at the start...she was very shrieky...but then she grew into the role and was fabulous till after the hate marriage.

The show was wonderful till March, and steadily went downhill after that. The writing was pathetic. I was dissapointed coz Barun didnt have to do anything other than react to Khushis crap comedy. I couldnt understand why there was only 1 minute of Khushi thinking that Shyam may have been the reason, and then no further thoughts on it.

The kidnapping track was terrible becoz they chose to focus everything on Khushi and made Aakash, Di, Payal and everyone else redundant.

I had no issues with Barun going for MAMR since I felt everyone would want to do something they wanted out of life.In fact I was surprised that he shot for the show and the film. There were talks at that time that Sanaya would be doing Jhalak till she was warned by SP. I was ok with that too, since it was something she wanted to do.

After that the writing swung violently between good and pathetic.

After the re-marraige the writing stuck to the truly pathetic category. Sanayas acting became a bit unbearable for me to watch. She was shrieking her way through the show, and I even changed channels when she was around. No one esle in the show was even there. I would wonder why Daljeet dressed up to sit on the sofa and drink tea.

I stuck with the show because I found Baruns solo parts and his scenes with Sanaya bearable. Sanaya is capble to doing well at comedy which was well showcased during the Nainital track and the pre-hate marriage tracks. Either she wasnt guided well or the director lost interest and let her do what she wanted, becoz the acting was truly bad. I had only one issue with Barun and that was the fact that he wouldnt cut his hair. I was also concerned that he was losing weight rapidly.

Meanwhile this forum became a kind of dirty warzone, and amidst a totally unprofessional handling of the quitting issue by the PH and the channel the show ended.

But IPK was unique since brought together fans of all ages. I havent seen any show with fans with ages ranging from early teens ( 13-14!!!) to their 50s!!!!!!.

It was also unique in that the makers lost complete interest in the show and left it to fans to petition for everything from story changes to changes in directors!!!!

But it gave a magical on screen couple who just had to be together on screen to make the scene work.

But for me it was the best show coz it introduced me to an actor called Barun Sobti who is truly talented and whose work I will always be interested to see in the future

First of all,I appreciate you for making such a beautiful post ...something related to IPK...we hardly find any post now in the forum..

What did IPK mean to me?

I didn't watch any indian TV show with such a passion... No show could keep me glued to tv for few weeks...suddenly, one day i was changing the channels and then i see a girl becoming mad at ASR...guest house wala scene..and i was like go girl...and then later from next day i started watching IPK...and never knew when i became so attached with the show...

How did I find IF?

After becoming mad about IPK..like every one i started searching for more articles and then once in FB read that it was written in IF...initially i never knew what was that...later came here and when i joined people were making such good posts especially the chameli's...my favourite of all was "Arnavji in the shoes of payaash" and the comments were also so good and got stuck with IF...Later i got irritated with the negativity and so much bashing and all i became a silent member...and dissapeared for a while from IF...The Cast and crew were so positive but sad that the so called fan's were not...

Did you even like IPK?

Obviously..I liked , loved IPK..and i don't regret watching it...very sad and unfortunate that all things happened with our show...But past is past...Instead of crying that it's over i am happy that it happened...I loved the bonding of the cast too...enjoyed watching them off screen...

Barun Sobti?

Frankly, i didn't even knew this guy... or who was he...Initially i was not very impressed with him...I couldn't get his dialogues...And later things changed started loving this guy ...especially his eye's they are very expressive...and may be due to the character ASR as it was written i have never seen such a powerful ML...Barun was perfect as ASR...I was hurt later that some where ASR was missing ...I couldn't find him he was lost some where...i have no hard feeling for Barun for leaving the show...It's his life his decisions..wished the PH,actor and the channel could have handled his quitting thing well...Anyways BS is a good actor👍🏼...ALL THE BEST FOR HIS CAREER..and may he reach great heights...and succeed in whatever he does...

Sanaya Irani?

Aah i started watching IPK only for her... recognized later that oh she is the same gunjan rite and was impressed with her...She did 100% justice to khushi...Sad that even her character was butchered badly...But hatt's off to SI...she was amazing as khushi...For me like how GEET of Jab we met is to bollywood...KHUSHI is to tellywood...👍🏼 and i am very happy that she's back as CC and also i will get glimpses of khushi in CC..so i won't be missing Khushi...

IPK had been an awesome show...will be remembered for ever...I will take this oppurtunity and thank everyone who was associated with the show...IF used to be a good place once but now thing's have changed...People constantly mock, bash members,actors and everyone...This is a show and should be considered as a show...But things didn't go that way...if some one critises BS for acting then he/she is considered to be a SI fan and vice versa...There are neutral people like me too..who like both...Therefore i have been a silent member and was scared to post anything seeing the level of bashing one's opinion's...I believe in Agree to disagree...Any ways, IPK is history now but will surely be remembered for ever and no show can take it's place...👍🏼

RC sorry for being so late...thankfully a calm post after a rather funny provocative one...

I started watching IPK from the swami track...I know that ridiculous one..yet there was something in it that attracted me to the show...my curiosity peaked when I saw flashbacks of the hate marriage scene in the temple and I went back and saw all episodes in 2 days and I loved it would be an understatement.

Khushi's spunk, ASR's inner turmoil, their irresistible chemistry was a treat to watch.

ASR as a character was brilliantly portrayed by Barun till the kidnapping track. Post that his overall presentation went downhill.

Sanaya was brilliant from start till end as Khushi.

Despite the decline in quality I watched till the end, coz somewhere I hoped to see recovery. Alas it never happened and finally they shut shop.

I used to watch the videos on YT and someone had mentioned IF in their comments and that's how I landed on IF and there was no looking back. I met a bunch of fantastic people and I enjoy discussing every topic under the sun in our home sweet home 😉

Yes, I did like the show a lot and u must make my husband answer this one. He thought I was mentally instable to watch it and then spend hours analaysing and gigling with friends on the dori..

I even missed the show for a while but soon realised there are far better shows with better content and presentation. So I have stopped revisiting the scenes and have moved on.

What did IPK mean to me?

Something special to me. my family said what crap i watched when i saw first time ipkknd when khushi fall from ASR office window

and that crap change my views about many things in life. i m fantasy type girl who imagine many things in her life or happy with her fantasies. so who can i far from arnav khushi

i rarely watch any indian serial after kYPH i got busy with school and all in college days i start again with indian serial with DMG and MJHT but i like these two but Ipkkd i love it dammit.😆

Undoubtedly that's y i imagine arnav khushi magic in every serial like SC also

there's no more arnav khushi

miss them

want to move on with some new serial and all

Barun Sobti?

i never know him before Ipkknd...never give any attention in DMG

but as ASR he make a place in my heart

love him especially when he smile :)

so far he is nice human being also

Sanaya Irani?

she's a rockstar

she put so much effort in khushi

personally i m huge khushi fan more than Arnav but PH ruined her character but still sanaya gain our attention

i never like any tv serial girl but she

i have huge crush on her

there are only three actors in TV industry i adore respect and love alot

IPK remains like Pride and Prejudice for me...an evergreen lovestory that makes me dream of real love

Khushi's pain still makes me enraged

ASR's treatment of her still makes me angry

but their love still makes me want to forgive and forget

and unike some I have never hated any of the people involved in it for giving me this magical story

I love Barun till date as ASR and want him to do well in ilife as every person has a right to his life and dreams, irrespective of expectations. Just as I dont compromise on my life for anyone but my loved ones, I would never expect it out of him too

Sanaya remains my doll. I follow her every show and ever picture with a zest. I adored her as Khushi and will adore her in her every other role.

I love LM for hsi superb direction though he is bashed today.

And I do credit Gul for conceptualizing this incredible story

To me IPK was a stress buster in a foreign country where I knew no one

IF is a place where I met some of the nicest friends

For me IPK is a source of joy and IPK forum a home for lots of good friends

And I guess i reached a point of no return and that's when i quit solo post making in this forum

where there is nothing but residue of the past no point in going on

But I still love IPK and sarun and arhi with a passion that I can never muster for any other show...but then they say never say never

What did IPK mean to me?

IPK means the world to me literally i am boring and lifeless without it..Before IPK i hated the weekdays but after IPK i hated the weekends..IPK made me fall in love with SaRun all over

How did I find IF?

I loved reading IPK FF's so came across I-F multiple times and finally decided to join...Sometimes i regret it sometimes I don't

Barun Sobti?

Dont get me started about this guy..After my parents I love him..Not for his looks or acting skills but for his personality..So down to earth..If a guy quits a show for his health and spending time with his wife is that a crime..Barun took many risks and still he is successful..I know he will reach heights..So haters keep hating as I will never stop loving him Never!

Sanaya Irani?

Sanaya she's an angel...The prettiest lady in tellywood and bollywood oh what the heck even hollywood...Even without the male lead she managed a show all by herself...I dont get why people think I hate her or phangals hate her cause we don't I have high hopes and respect for her and even if she quits a show i will never judge her...Keep rocking sanz

What did IPK mean to me?

Initially it was a show that a dear friend with very fine taste in literature, movies and the arts in general watched. I was baffled. And curious. Curiosity won and I started watching it to troll her (in a good natured way as it can happen between friends). And before I knew it, I was sucked in. Friend itself found her interest in the show lessening 😆
It is certainly the first desi TV show that I actually watched actively. My family is full of TV buffs and I have actually watched a lot of TV shows, albeit passively. But this kept me hooked. Enough for me to feel indignation on behalf of characters. Get pissed off with Maamiji's taunts, Anjali's rona dhona, Shyam's villainy. In short, a pretty obsessive kind of fangirl who felt fiercely protective towards Arnav and Khushi.

How did I find IF?

While following the aforementioned friend who posted around here. I usually only commented on her posts, feeling a strange sense of reticence while commenting on other people's posts. But I read a lot.

Barun Sobti & Sanaya Irani?

Adored them as Arnav and Khushi. I think it was brilliant casting and the pair really have spoiled any other desi tv show for me. Having said that, I feel very little enthusiasm for their forthcoming ventures. I tried watching their older shows recently and frankly I was bored. Strange as it might seem, for me Arnav and Khushi were bigger than Barun and Sanaya. But I wish them both luck in whatever they do.

FOR ME IPKKND meri jaan hai aur ipk ne mujhe jeene ka dusra janam diya hai...ipkknd arshi ne mujhe pyaar etc. ka matlab sikhaya aur sarun ne dosti(friendship)ka matlab sikhaya...meri life me ipk arshisarun bohut khas hai...i love u ipkknd arshisarun
now i missing u like hell...

Well, i cant actually remember how exactly i ended up here, but i guess it all started with another show that i liked, and thought was good, hence stumbled across I-F and jpined to view some post where it said "members post only". And then i fine day, a person's siggie/avatar caught my eye, it was arshi romancing at GH. What else should i say? I fell in love from there, and from there on, no stopping, i gave up my sleep to catch up a year worth's episodes and didnt eat properly either lol.
