I applaud Barun for having the guts to move away from such an epic character because he felt he could not contribute anymore to its portrayal and growth. I can sense a strong attempt by Barun to not want to associate closely with IPK which is very different from the pre-closure days and this makes me think that maybe he is hurt with the way things have played out, with how he has been made an easy target to drop the blame on; with how after giving the show and the viewer's his best for over a year and giving the team more than enough notice to accommodate his leave; those who did not agree with his decision have painted him as the villain here. Barun; ASR is very special to me as I am sure it is to you. I am sure when the bitterness fades you will acknowledge ASR as one of your most special characters.

Your post truly touched my heart ~ not just because I am a Barun fan but because of the way you have written it and also what you have said is so true!! ~ in his latest interview he said that even if you do million good things, if you do one thing that people don't agree with, they forget all the good things you did for them!! ~ I genuinely felt sad to read that ~ that showed how hurt Barun is that after doing such a fantastic job as ASR he was in the end blamed!!
