Many could have played ASR but there would be very very few who could have played like Sobti..
I feel very glad when he mentions Baat though it was not as successful as IPK ...this shows fame really doeant matter to him...

I am glad he played ASR and made me fall in love with him...

People complaining about MID , to praise someone people dont need MID..but to bash and hide their real identity people do create MID...

P.S. I find it strange that every post mentioning Barun in a positive way is raided by spite while posts about other actors reach 10 plus pages without negativity and still people wander about calling this forum a fan club for Barun. Is spite being equated with accolades here????? Most confusing!!!)

Barun is a gem of a person! I've held so much respect for him since day one and after today's article, i love and respect him ten times more! Honestly, he is a white knight. One who dares to be different! One who dares to follow his heart. One who always brings his best to the table, not for the money but because he genuinely loves his job!

I dont know how anyone can disagree with the fact that Barun made ASR what he is.. he managed to portray his grey shades, his arrogance, his pain, cynicism, mistrust and eventually the love, so very well. Regardless of whether Barun's decision to move to the movies will be proven right or wrong, I think only he has the right and the capability to decide what he wants to do. Who is anyone to question it? Would we be ok with our life's choices being questioned by anyone else? From all interviews, whether his or the rest of the IPK team, everyone says he gave adequate notice of his leaving.

And honestly, as a true IPK fan, does anyone think the Sheetal and Mrs India tracks did anything for Arnav and Khushi? Both of them were just shadows of their former characterizations. If I watched the show after the remarriage track, it was only because I wanted to see Arnav and Khushi, not for the ridiculous storyline that was drawn up. And Barun looked so worn out and tired during the last couple of months - if he cant decide that he needs a break, who will? The people bashing him on this forum ?

Television to movies is a natural progression - I think anyone who gets that choice will make it. I hope he does very well for himself. There is no doubt that he is a very good actor. Everyone needs a bit of luck to be successful and hopefully all our good wishes will help 😊
