there were so many tracks that had so much potential, and could have been shown in a better way. so many things said and done that werel left with loose ends.
why did the shayam exposer track have to be so short. nothing came out how he and why he lied to the gupta and his reason to want to marry knushi. that was not for money. shayam never owned up to that, or that he tried to kill shashi gupta, and all his attempts on Anjali's life before Payal and Akash wedding. or that he stole the real will and kidnapped Arnav to kill him. shayams list of crimes were never mentioned again after the fist exposure.
the CV's could have lengthened the track of Arnav and Khushi,s investigation through which they could find clues that linked shayam to all his other crimes. it would have been intreasting to so everyone get justice.
then the track where Arnav wanted to spend alone time with khushi, could cerianly have been lengthened and mashed with a honeymoon track. they could have posponed the sheetal and aarav track by months.
they could have shown payal and Akash ready for a baby and wanting one and suddenly what happened to all that track where payal was trying to impress Akash by being a morden wife he could take to party's. they suddenly cut that short with no explanation from or for either side.
and your right a lot of characters were underused and so were a lot of tracks.
post the shayam exposure track the could have had a track where anjali and nani go to see dadi and explain the truth to her. this would have give a brake to Arnav,Barun to take some time off.
they could have brought a repentent dadi back who makes an extra effort to be nice to Khushi and payal.
the truth is that a lot could have been done to keep the serial running. and keep the pair of barun and Sanaya as Arnav and Khsuhi intact. but is seemed that the PH and the CVs had lost intrest.
but anyway i hope they learn for this mistake.
