I know that there is something huge and strange going on behind the scenes, but don't know a thing, only that gul-barun interview was something missing and than bbc interview totally different, but still something was and is wrong.

How can a guy who cannot say a line straight without stammering (when faced with questions asked impromptu by fans/reporters) looks so prepared, so ready with what he wants to say ?...this clearly indicated he was given a script to study and prepare himself.

He was not his usual fidgety self ...we must not forget he is an actor, so if he wants to play a role ( or made to rather !) he can do it.

The BG - clearly put there to reach out to the fans with a certain emotion ...a goodbye one, so that fans go a emotional ride, a nostalgic trip as soon as the music starts ...and Bingo! they will now relate whatever's being discussed to his leaving story ...Talk about scenes, about Akshay leaving, about Sanaya crying when shooting, and people will think its happened because Barun's leaving ...Bingo!

Crisply edited, to indicate very clearly that he puts family first ( who doesn't, but family needs to be fed too, right ?) and that he and his wife have been craving to speand time together ever since they got marrried, to imply that he is leaving because of shift work, family and nothing else !

• He says he is on a break in UK for 10-12 days after SPL in Birmingham, and the conversation us very cleverly edited to avoid asking the question "What Next ?", he doesn't use the "Quit", despite that he is bid farewell by the Boss ...Fishy ? Oh Yes !!!!

Very clearly, the Game Plan is to make him go on an Extended Break, not declaring that he has indeed Quit ...bring in a new face, another character in IPK, in Khushi's life ...and see how it goes ...if fans' passion for ASR/Barun dies out in a few weeks, SP/PH will be very happy that their Plan worked, if it doesn't, and the show is not able to reach out to the masses at all...maybe bring Barun back for closure ...again, a WIN for SP/PH, barun still looses out on his popularity, his credibility, most importantly he is made the scapegoat !!!

Boggles the mind that a guy who took ONE day off to get married would now quit in the peak of his career!

true..i dnt thnk barun wants to take a indefinite break..something is fishy in all this..n even dnt think he is at fault..he cant say things clearly because he is a small fish infrnt of sp n ph..

hmm, felt the same after reading updates from both his recent interviews. my opinion as i posted in another thread in MF :


This is too huge a step that anyone who has been working for 84 hours a week can really take. See, out of all these one thing is for sure. Its IP that is getting into a mess,Gul or someone from 4 lions could have jus given some other reason for that even if the actual reason is barun leaving the show. They could have handled it in a much better way. But towards the end someone has to take the blame n here i see the one who has to take it is Barun. Even if he wishes to take a break they could have handled it in a much better way like they did during the kidnapping track. Or instead of creating such a scene and then putting everything in barun's head with the latest interview with Gul n Barun. Had she really thought IP as her baby this thing could have been handled in a much much clean way.

Why dint she change the story line if she really wanted to take this all a clean way, kill ASR in a accident and bring in another man in khushi's life?? simple.
