There have been huge discussions,debates and protest camps regarding the current issue which has sent all of us reeling at the destruction of a wonderful setup within a span of 3 days.i for one,have been swinging from one end to the other in my opinions and theories.After assimilating it all,here is what i presume!
First the interview...i don't know how many are with me or how many against but i felt that it was too fake n scripted.Here are my reasons for believing so:

amateurish editing...IV starts abruptly,takes a different tone n ends just as abruptly

the cuts,lack of continuity n the bg tunes

a very thorough barun,never stammering,never being his usual jumpy kiddish self

akshay saying gul shud happen to every actor at least once...when he had 2 lines in a month n later came down to 1 line in 2 months...he quit bcoz of that

no eye contact b/w gul n barun

talking abt irrelevant topics when the fans r crying foul n threatening !!!

how gul deliberately points out how she had manipulated the script to accommodate baruns leave

barun still calls it a break...but gul bid farewell tata bye bye bye!

apparently barun was to leave in feb...i dont see any reason 4 dat...a short holiday is ok but why on earth will an actor leave when the show was at its peak n among the top 3!
Yesterday in a live interview barun confirmed that he has no projects in hand,it is still a break for him but in the interview gul bade him the ultimate farewell.
Barun had no reason to quit in feb ,the show was just 9 months old and was reaching new heights,MAMR happened 2 months later,the awards and accolades too came after that...many ppl like myself joined the show only in November after geet ended n starone changed to life ok,n thus barun's popularity too achieved that stage much later!
I don't know how many of u tuned into the rajan singh IV but he clearly mentioned in not so less words that nobody can replace barun but the PH has other ideas n he "hopes" that they keep arshi intact since IPK is nothing without them.
The interview overnight turned the tables against barun...now what i want to point out is the way it was conducted...they talked about inconsequential stuff,meandering from one thing to another without really addressing the issue.Can u believe the fact that the guy who worked the day before n after his marriage now suddenly decides to quit the show which established him as a heartthrob of thousands ,to "spend time with his wife"
2 things can be concluded from it...either he is an unprofessional guy who doesn't live upto his commitments or its a blatantly lame excuse...i leave it upto you to decide!tell me something,will ever a doctor abandon his patient when he is needed the most to "relax and spend time with his family"...what say?I understand that he wants a holiday as he is overworked and he is justified in it but he never for once said in the live NK interview that he wants to quit or wanted to quit way back in feb,he just mentioned that a break was long due.
He also mentioned that he will be holidaying with his wife in UK post the SPL event for 10-12 days...after that he is not sure,he doesn't have any projects in the pipeline.
Now lets look at the bigger picture...why suddenly this lacklustre story,a quitting spree among the cast n crew?not only barun ,either sum1 from the supporting cast is putting down the paprs or the director or the writer...GH the man associated with ipk for so long,why wud he leave all of a sudden?Now he has moved on to madhubala n winning accolades there while ipk gets worse n worse...why???
All the sources in IF,fron shona,khushboo,unnati,kernel,priya...all say the same thing that ppl are having issues with gul n the PH with the script!can they all be wrong?
Even outsiders like raj baddhan can sense something awry with the situation n are tweeting the same...
I would here like to mention that i don't believe barun is a saint or a scapegoat,he was crying on sets and nor do I believe that gul is a motherf**king bitch...all have their reasons n business alert on but it is also baffling to see why gul would deliberately mess up her own show...i honestly have no answer for that!
But,I also want to point out that this is showbiz,where money speaks everything!Gul said that for obvious reasons Sp doesn't want barun to leave...but barun is quitting out of his love for his wife is difficult to digest!
There is surely something exceptionally fishy going on which is being covered up by lame excuse...the IV cleverly saved gul's ass but put under scrutiny barun's level of commitment!
I have a theory too on why the guy is going with the flow...plz don't be childish enuf to say he was "forced" and all but surely its aboutbusiness n contracts...Barun cannot go against either SP or gul since that puts his career at stake.Remember pulkit samrat...he was blacklisted from the telly world after going against Kekta.SP too cleverly has tried to lay off the axe by saying Barun quits for BW.Its all about money in this world where facts n lies are so warped up n twisted together ina complex web that it is hard to distinguish b/w them...this my friends is the harsh reality!!!
Im nobody to tell u what u shud believe n whether u shud support barun or not...but we all do want a happy arshi ending at the end of the day...fight for that!Bcoz at the end of the day this money n business has YOU in the centre bcoz the revenue n the source of it is YOU!!!always remember that!!
At the end i just want to ask you,where ur loyalty lies or who u choose to stand by...an actor who has entertained u for the last 1.5 yrs of ur life working like crazy or a producer who has a hand in messing up 4 shows in the past ,3 of which r huge n big ticket ones (DMG,MJHT,geet,HHL) or a channel whose only motive is to earn profits...u can choose to be neutral too,seeing as all are a part of this mess for their own reasons!
