I dont think they understand that Anjali's role needs to be seriously reduced. Lets see how far things go now.

Same pinch...!! It's like they r hell bent to satisfy their personal ego rather than thinking about their massive downfall..I just can't imagine the show which used to be on top 5 to 6 even when the most disgusting post marriage misunderstanding phase was going on... is nowhere on top 15 even after showing so many insignificant rabba ves...
@ Harshu- I wanna pm u discussing about something that I guess I won't be able to do here...will b PMing u in an hour or 2 ...

You're so right Maverick- and the issue is, sadly, all those who feel the remorse scene was 'underdone' will now be labelled as 'bashers' and 'people who can never be happy'.

All I would like to tell the Creatives is this: With this scene, you've made it amply clear, that you just penciled it in after seeing the extent of outrage over the crappy "ASR's unique redemption in his own way" track. But since you anyway decided to do a belated damage control, why did you not give the scene the emotional heft and importance it deserved?

Look at some of the powerful FFs on this forum which are based partly on the show, but have Arnav realizing the enormity of his misdeeds. He doesn't turn into a sniveling, groveling Devdas to express his contrition. But still, there is a powerful, heartfelt sense of redemption and remorse in his realization.

If fans who pursue other occupations as their main calling, could come up with such gems, why couldn't the professional script and screenplay writers? Fine, the TV serial format means that they have to stretch the story for more melodrama; but at the end of the day, they're dealing with human emotions and couple/ family dynamics, right? Why portray something so unrealistically?

I'm thankful that at least they put in those 3 minutes worth of an apology..they managed to belatedly stem the feeling, that ASR was nothing more than a delusional jerk with the emotional maturity of a toddler! But my personal opinion is, that this still ain't redemption enough...Won't be, unless Arnav comes fully clean to both the families as to why and how he forced Khushi into the sham marriage in the first place.

I agree that it was anyway in Khushi's nature to forgive him so soon. That's the way she's been shown from the start, that she doesn't hold grudges. But definitely, I would have liked her to verbalize that Yes, He hurt her horribly with his lack of trust in her, and in future, she hopes that he would never misunderstand her. That she would expect him to ask her for her side of the story before jumping to conclusions. In my opinion, this would have lent some more depth to the scene.

On a slightly sadistic note- Khushi got slapped twice owing to Arnav's actions- shouldn't Arnav get slapped twice to even the score? (Perhaps Nani and Anjali could have a go, one each- or maybe Nani and Buaji??) 😉 This last para is meant as a joke people, so don't attack me!

In my opinion, the 2 apologies cannot be compared with each other...if they can be, then there would be no growth in the character of ASR or their relation at all...

the fact that he wanted to apologise and came running late night and didnt have to practice that sorry itself shows how this man has changed...

the fact that he recounted every incident which he had hurt her ...before her... saying he was wrong... shows how deeply he is feeling guilty...and is so sincere about it...thank god...he didnt shout now as he did in the gazebo...today's scene showed truly how changed he is compared to then...

today raw passion and sexual tension gave way to something very deep...a feeling of heart wrecking pain due to the realization of how much he has wronged this lady...he was in a miserable state and wanted to just tell her sorry...and he did that welll...and when she forgave him...he instantly lightened...as if a very big burden was taken off his shoulders...the burden of having given pain to the one he claims to love.. had she not forgiven him...he would have doubted if he really loved her at all...but she restored his confidence in himself that his love has also been conveyed to her and she gives that more importance than these hurtful incidents...by her forgiving instantly ...and reminding him of his love for her...she prevented him to fall into the hell of guilt, self-doubt and loss of confidence...and he will ever so greatfully remember this...the real trust these 2 have on each other got communicated to each other...i cant ask for anything more...passion will come if they look at each other with love even for a moment...but this moment he was a man in desparate need of a word of consolation that he is forgiven for his wrong doings...and khushi was the lady who saw through all the hurt at his love and gave him the forgivance...
in lamhon ke daaman mein...paakeezah se rishte hain...thats what is was...

and the hug was a thank-you-so-so-so-much-for-understanding-and-still-loving-such-a-bad-me hug and not a i-love-you-lets-make-love hug !

am not saying the direction and screenplay was at its best...but i would not have wanted the tone and ambience to be anything else than this...
