Finally!!!
The are back to the story about clash in values...and that too at this point!!👏👏👏
This is how the story was sold to us...in the write up ...Story of two people who believe in different things...Then we got lost in a regressive plot called DKS...with a very stupid villain, who di crazy things...like kidnapping the guy who is providing him food and shelter and that too...without any obvious demand or purpose...or...whatever...
Any way...so where was I? OK...story of two people who believe in different things...The last time this was the story we were watching was the Lavnya track...when La believed in what Arnie believed in...until she me Khushi...and slowly but steadly she completely landed in Khushi camp of beliefs...
Then we saw just a little bit of it in NK track...what is more important in a party...do what pleases you or do what is considered high class...
Today ...we are back to it...
Forget about everything else...(Yeah...I know Khushi looked damn HOT...and I felt really bad for Arnav Bituwa...who could nt hold his desire any longer and plucked her out of the family gathering...blatantly and shamelessly...no excuses)😃
Any way...yes...back to the point...
What is more important?
Is it OK to sleep with a person if you are in love with them...thats what is the most important thing...
or
Is it OK...to hold out...till you feel at peace and good about the union that it is a PROPER union?
Both are valid point of views...infact so valid that depending upon the part of the world you go to...or even within the same part of the world...reasonable people may disagree...
But the issue was a fundamental one...and thats what I loved...the most!!!...And of course...did I mention Khushi looked BEAUTIFUL!!!👍🏼
Ahhh...poor Arnie Bituwa...I FEEL FOR YOU...😆😆😆 YOU DIDNT SEE THAT COMING DID YOU? THATS WHY THEY SAY>>>YOU CAN NEVER FIGURE OUT WHAT A WOMAN WANTS >>>AND WHEN SHE WOULD WANT IT...😆😆😆😆

Sush

To be honest I am a bit baffled about todays episode ...or should i say I have mixed feelings .. While I agree with the "differnce in thinking..." of the two and the story we were promised at the start , its the timing and presentation that I am miffed about.
True to their nature Arnie never believed in marriage and was happy to have Lavanya at his side for his physical needs. Then came along Khushi who he forced to "marry" to put the MS and sindoor in a temple coz he felt that was imporatant to her. Why did he not ask her to be his Live in girlfriend when he could have done so ? Why does he want the label " Husband" and her acceptance of this haque ? If Love is the only thing that matters then why NOT give in to the rsepect and dignity that "marriage" grants a realtionship. Its because he still has not understood what Total & Absolute commitment is . Does not understand the meaning of each and every vow... Sush it doe snot have to be with pandits around with familly around ...Vows are required promises to each other...He is still sitting on a fence.
Khushi who has lived for 6 months, till a few days ago was willing to walk away from the contract has now grown a concious and wants all the trappings. Is she not the one who thinks that Love & DIL are the two things that you need in a raltionship , the one thing that her Arnie dear so lacked. Was she not the one a few days ago said "I don't want to change you ..." now wants a wedding with all teh reeti-rivaaz . What she had committed to 6 months ago how was that acceptable to her that she has silently accepted him as her husband going ahead... why this sudden need of tradition. If she was so strong in her beliefs why does she not lay down her condition of this marriage - I want a proper wedding... Why this playing around. She too is sitting on a fence.
All in all Sush , yes both will have to find a middle ground or maybe forced to tie the knot knowing its a Family TV channel . My peeve is the flip flop by the csv and the toying with characters as and when they please...
If the new creative team gets this ie. please stick to the original characters and story board then I will be a happy camper. For now I am still unsure what tomorrow will bring...

Sush - You've raised the right questions.

Everything boils down to beliefs and POVs.

Will come back after I watch on tv.

Hi Sush!

I too was thrilled today when we came back to a clash of ideologies between Arnav and Khushi. Though i feel the "marriage incomplete without the pheras" feeling Khushi is facing is a little ill timed, this girl is high in traditional values and knows the rituals in and out; then did she really need a reminder from Nani about this😕😕. As Arnav said she has been living with him as his wife in the house for the past 6 months; how come she feels it is incomplete now? I wish the CV's had found a better way to bring in the conflict and the proposed remarriage. That being said, i loved the episode; both were true to their character and i loved ASR for being ASR today😉, loved how he said "tumhe phere lene hai na, toh chalo mere saath" and dragged her out😆😆.

The moment of the day for me was when he blatantly refused to acknowledge Dadi's presence and put her down😉 An embarrassed and angry Dadi finally had to leave; I love this besharam, defiant ASR who wants the world to know she is his wife and he has his haq on her. Plus he was right about it being his house, his terrace and his wife and he was not really doing anything that should upset Dadi.

The confession for me was a dream come true. I had always imagined ASR to blurt out his feelings in the middle of an argument and the "I Love You Dammit" was vintage ASR and Khushi's beautiful smile at hearing the precious words in person and was just perfect. He wanted to initially confess his feelings to Khushi on this terrace, when his dreams were crushed and his love nipped in the bud by what he saw, today he came a full circle and actually confessed on the same terrace. Now he will make her dream for a dream wedding come true, give her the place, dignity and respect she deserves; coz that is what he does best: try and bring happiness and joy to the ones he loves!

Great episode and i hope they continue to focus on the ideological differences between this couple who are poles apart still madly in love instead of making it all about the family drama again.

Both are sitting on a fence at this moment...IMO
And I am also in Khushi's camp on this one ... Not so much reeti-rivaaz Sush as in terms of "Vows" be it pheras be it with a priest ...

Sush I really want Arnav - Kushi to talk before dadi does the 'serpent dance' downstairs...I want Kushi to coax Arnav or for them to at least have an adult conversation before dadi drops the bomb...

Sush, yes both have valid points and ideologies! But what perplexes me is, so if they go ahead and perform all the marriage rituals which probably would take a few hours, will that make Khushi all comfy and ready than the privilege she had which NO traditional girl would have of spending really personal, private and sometimes intimate moments with that man for almost an year? Yes it is certainly a matter of belief but for few things she considers him husband and for some she doesn't...would have been great had she put her foot down and refused the very first day! Nice post btw!

Hi Guys...sorry for a short reply at the moment... But it is not about what does Khushi want...and why didnt she mention it before... It is ...is Khushi comfortable taking the next step...and the answer is...no... Many people wanted a redemption track...I wasnt for it...as such...but Very innocently...Khushi's uneasiness is actually making Arnav pay for what he didnt do right...I mean the marriage... He did it as a contract..."having sex" was not a part of the contract...Khushi lived up to her end...Now new relationship...new conditions...and the funny thing is Khushi is not even thinking about it like this...It is...just that something does not feel right to her...she is unsettled... Why didnt she think about this before? Before, no one pushed the question to the brink...where it needed a yes or no answer...
