Hey Riti ..

Remember the scene when she first finds out the truth about Shyam .. she meets ASR .. he points out the problem .. she wants to tell him but she stops simply because she knows of his dedication to Di ...

Then the next time around ..she wants to tell him .. she hears his Di is going to have a baby .. she was again justified in hiding it from him .. coz the truth at that point of time would have destroyed Arnav .. & isn't that exactly what happened ( but ofc she dint know about it )

NOW FOR THE MAIN INSIGHT ... all the times she HID about Shyam .. was ONE REASON ONLY ... her LOVE for the one MAN ASR ... the moment he tells her i know .. she says it out ...

I woman in LOVE .. makes a decision based on her emotions .. not necessarily what on hindsight may look right or wrong ...

BUT for the WOMAN in LOVE .. protecting her LOVE from GRIEF & BLOW .. would've been paramount ... 😃

Now yet again .. this is how i read Khushi .. this was what she always spoke out .. i did it for U

That's the difference between making decisions with your head and decisions with your heart...both Khushi and ASR get swept away in what they feel is the need of the moment and they fail to predict the future...IPK really reminds me of a chess game at times..😆

U know where matters of the HEART or family is concerned .. we all take decisions with the heart ..

Now at work if someone cheats u . what will u .. go out of ur way to get back to them .. thats ur pragmatic side at work ..

But the same thing when it comes to family .. it becomes a bittersweet reaction from us .. as this is FAMILY .. where matters are often dealt with HEART .,.

That is what is attractive about IPK .. a fictional story .. but so many REAL incidents ..

She the one who stands up for herself against the mighty ASR - fights with him - contradicts him - cannot stand up for herself. And when Arnav throws the same thing at her - he is judged!? Why!? Was he wrong in saying that!? He was not! He cannot have a dream that Khushi did not lead Shyam but was forced.

I dont like the guy being blamed for all the mistakes. We are discussing a possibility here. Maybe Khushi could not go and confess anything - because she is Khushi - but there was never any regret - any thought of even letting anyone know. It does not matter whether she did not confess to anyone - the thought counts. I am sorry but "mitti daalo" was the nail in the coffin for me. More so the man lusted her in front of his wife - but there was never a thought!?

COming to Gupta ladies - biggest disappointment on planet earth! Payal - Garima and Buaji - knowing Shyam is in the same house - they never questioned Khushi!? I mean what is wrong with that family!? Whatever it is I am sure no family - would want their daughter to be in the same house with a man like Shyam. True they could not do anything about it - but they could show some concern.

My point is I dont see a character growth at all - neither did I see it before - nor do I see it now. I am hoping it happens soon though - because I cannot see Arnav or Anjali being blamed for Khushi's so called righteousness.

Its easier to be angry at ASR because Arnav has been a jerk to khushi right from the beginning..

Remember the first episodes of IPK? Khushi in the green dress, and Arnav immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was there to sabotage his show? He ended up humiliating her, and payal's marriage broke. Arnav has always jumped to conclusions, and Khushi has been unable to resolve his tensions for him. If Arnav thinks that Khushi and shyam are having an affair, Khushi will NEVER straight-out say that 'Dude, your BIL is forcing himself upon me'. Instead she will think of what Anji will think and what Arnav will think and stop thinking by herself. Khushi just isn't a straightforward kind of woman. She will always think twice because she doesn't want to 'destroy' anyone, and yet that's exactly what he will do. Even when ASR was threatening her with Payash divorce, if she really had a steely resolve she would have thought to herself, 'This is PAYASH's problem, and how can Arnav do anything without providing an explanation?'

If during ArHi wedding, Khushi would have simply gone to the family and said 'Your son is forcing me to marry him, do something!' they would have demanded an explanation from ASR and things could have gone differently. But Khushi accepts ASR as God. She never questions his motives.

I agree completely, Anji needs to face the harsh reality... I was so happy when Maami broke out the truth to her... she needed to face it. All I'm saying id Khushi was not wrong, but she was a bit insensitive. You know even when a person passes away, there is a minimum mourning period... one has got to mourn the loss... else you don't get the closure ! Anjali never got her closure, she never got a chance to speak to her husband before he was thrown out of the house and told never to even try contacting her.

Had Khushi told Anjali or Arnav the truth earlier... it was fine with me. Had she come in a little later, it was fine with me. Even then, I understand she wants to be with Anjali to support her... that's also understandable... but to tell her he's ur past and u gotta move on (at that juncture of life) was the only thing that I had a problem with. I know it is in Khushi's character... but as someone was saying... it's about time for her to grow up and start realizing her faults too.
