Wonderful post! and yes, u said it right..The slap was also for the statement shyaam told khushi abt arnav believing him over her! I think that was what hurt him most..and the look he then gives to khushi..of pure hatred!

Shastra.. I will bet anything on that.. more to come.. Shyam will spit out more.. he will tell things on his own.. He is fuming mad and that is his weakness.. his ego is hurt which is too much.. So he has to satisfy himself now.. and that is what he will do..

I am currently reading this book and suddenly these above lines just made me think that these are so apt for Khushi and Arnav..

Arnav who gives silent strength and courage to the latern that is really empty of proofs...
