Ok so I'm risking chappals being thrown at me, but through this whole fiasco I have only felt TERRIBLE for Anjali. Here are two people whom she loves, (yes she loves Khushi) who are hurling earth shattering accusations at each other, while she couldn't believe this was happening, she stood there swooning because she couldn't believe this was real. How and why was this happening. In reality, it would be very easy to believe everything Shyam says and does, especially good people believe the best in people so for her to see the ugly truth of Shyam being exposed, but what she couldn't understand was why Khushi, NK and Payal were doing this, they are part of her family she knows and understands their nature, if it were anyone else she would not have been standing by quietly she would have been roaring like a lion protecting her husband. The reason why she was quiet though was because it was her brother who her husband had endangered.
We always talk about the Arnav- Anjali bond but not the Anjali-Arnav bond, I remember when she had the accident on the day of Akash's wedding she said she thought of him when she thought she wouldn't make it. He is her #1. This was the ONE and ONLY reason why she was so quiet.
When did I start tuning in to ipkknd for Abhaas and his brillant acting instead of the romance? When? ( I think it has to do with the fact that Barun is still in that disgusting banyaan, lol. Man Ahbaas yaar meh tujhe kya bolu.
By far the most entertaining character this past few days has been Shyam, he has become so quick on his feet, he has thrown back every accusation, even made the innocent Khushi look like a vile and disgusting creature, written off Payal as a gold digger, and claimed NK is just an innocent little lamb not a full grown man. Wow, I must say this has been the best twist EVER!!! When he said Khushi has always been after him, I was so shocked I couldn't believe it. I loved how he kept asking for proof when there were 2 witnesses that he was refutting. I'm sorry but in a court of law a witness's word is take as proof, but he wanted evidence. After all he has been acting the part of good son-in-law to the family for so long, obviously they will believe him. Brillant thinking.
What i really loved here, was Shyam knowing that Arnav would not admit to the truth because he has confessed to Arnav already, because that would kill his Di, and betting on that, he is convincing the rest of the family. Here again he has misunderstood the extent of the Khushi/ Arnav relationship. Arnav already knows Khushi inside out, she has demonstrated how far she would go for him, and more than anything he has seen how she and her family live, and what they most value, golddiggers they definetly are not!!! And here is where Shyam game went south, as long as he stood refuting the claims Arnav was fine, when he started accusing Khushi that's when ASR lost it. I loved how in very simple words he told Shyam and everyone around him who is world revolves around. And he has made the mistake of hurting both of them.
What does Shyam do right after getting hit, he looks for his shield, Anjali, who stands behind Arnav, he cannot get to her and is in no uncertain words thrown out.
Arnav was trying to take Anjali away and Shyam didn't care about her or their child only about his name, notice it wasn't Khushi but Shyam who stopped them from leaving the argument. the reprecussions of this scene will be unfolded in the days to come.
I am looking forward to some romance between Arnav and Khushi while their world has been set aflame. For once there is peace internal between them but the war everywhere else. Mami will not believe either party and will hold the sisters responsible for not bringing the truth forward. Khushi will rightfully be punished. Khushi's logic of not telling anyone the truth was always questionable and now Mami will make sure that she pays the price for it. Akash and Payal will not be in paradise and Naani will be shattered because all of her grandchildren expect one are not happy.
Man Payal has had only 3 strong dialogues in the past year but boy does she rock the role of the protective sister. I would like to see her properly reprimand Khushi for not including her from the begining. At the end of everything her marriage did come up and she will be facing the trust issues.
But most importantly, I am wondering when ASR will come forward and say he knows about Shyam and all of his lies and the truth about his marriage will come to the forefront because it must, in order to convince Anjali, though I would be very surprised if Anjali believed even Arnav, I want to see her trust shattering and then I want to see Anjali become strong and pick up the pieces of her life.
Obviously today was about the slaps and the one dialogue from ASR proclaiming to the world who rules his heart!!! All in all it has been a good week of intense drama though I think the people actually tune in for the romance. THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU THROW THE STORY AWAY, intense drama gives us intense romance which we love.
