ARNAV/ASR AND KHUSHI ARE TOGETHER
Hey everyone! Perk up... everything is still going fine between Arnav and Khushi! I know many are disappointed with the delay in the slap, and Khushi apparently pleading with Arnav. Will clear that out for you, so that your pretty heads don't go all grey with worrying about them! 😊
Now, before you start reading, I suggest you take a deep calm breath in, hold... now breathe out all the clamouring in your head slowly... let it all go... take a few more breaths in and out until you find yourself more cool and composed in your mind. Now read on...
You guys have been following the episodes and the Reduxian's write-ups almost on a daily basis. You have seen Khushi and Arnav finally reunite. You have seen that both are now on the same page. You know now that Arnav and Khushi have formed a stronger bond than before. If you know so much about their relationship, then why do you doubt, my dearies?
UNION OF SOULS
After all Khushi's efforts, after the Union of Souls, after Arnav confessing his love for Khushi, after sending her the note, after knowing that Khushi exchanged the kerosene for water, and after crying over her when he thought he lost her - do you really think that Arnav needed Khuhsi to 'plead' to Arnav to believe her?
Also, remember that before they could enter RM, Khushi told Arnav that Shyam was the one behind his kidnapping. Arnav asked her if she had proof 'for the family'. Note: he didn't ask for proof for himself. He believed her right then. They then enter separately... why? It was to obviously way lay Shyam, to feed Shyam assumptions that they were not together. It was to bait Shyam into thinking that he had the upper hand once Khushi opened her mouth against him.
Now, Arnav believed Khushi right outside the doors of RM, why then would he need Khushi to convince him of her innocence? Also, there was no need for Khushi to 'plead' to Arnav as she knew that Arnav is firmly by her side throughout the way. From the moment he entered RM after her, they exchanged visual communication (their eyes conveyed messages, their nods affirmed each other's thoughts, the looks exchanged vital information). They kept each other in loop all the time. If you see the whole scene of this (Wednesday till Friday) - you will notice that Khushi, NK, Payal and Maamiji have opened all the truths about of Shyam that they know about. Arnav's eyes supported, comforted, encouraged and acknowledged Khushi's words and actions throughout the heated exchanges.
Even today, when Khushi is finished with her ammunition, she turns to Arnav only then and says, "Hum jaante hai ki hamaare paas sabooth nahi hai, lekin hum sach bol rahe hai... hamari aankhon mein dekhiye aur aap ko pata chalega ki hum sach bol rahe hai ya jhooth" (I do not have any proofs to validate my statements, but look into my eyes and you will know whether I am telling the truth or whether I am lying).
She also says the facts that Arnav himself knows - that she had done it all to save him. He knows that, he has seen her risk her life twice for him. First when she lands up in the same kidnapping den as him, and later when she exchanges the kerosene for water. He is well aware of this fact that Khushi had almost paid for her life while getting to him.
Now, combine the above two dialogues of hers and see what you get. You get Khushi and Arnav speaking their own coded language. Through her eyes and her words she tells Arnav that I have laid down all the truths against Shyam known to me. When she looks at Arnav, it is a straight, direct, finale look that says, this is the end - all the truths known to herself, Maami, NK and Payal are out...
Another thing, her dialogue on 'aankhon mein sach aur jhooth' resembles her statement of "sach bolne wale ankh se ankh mila kar baat karte aur chor nazarein churake baat karte hai..." that she had said in an old episode where she had saved AR company from frauds. That was one of my favourite lines from Khushi, and I'm glad it made a clone appearance today! And oh, this statement though said by Khushi was not about Khushi but about Shyam. There were two main accusers - one: Khushi, and the other, Shyam. One accuser always spoke by looking into the opponents eyes, while the other kept shifting gaze and failed on more occasions than once to speak eye-to-eye. We all know now that Khushi was the one who looked at Shyam and Anjali squarely in to their eyes, and never wavered, while Shyam couldn't meet Maamiji's eyes and Khushi's and NK's eyes successfully!
Now see the look that passes between Khushi and Arnav after she says the above dialogues. It's a knowing look, a look of two accomplices - telling each other that they've got the big fish in its net, it is a look of 'job nearly done', a look of 'he has fallen hook, line and sinker', and a look of 'confidence in each other'.
Was it a look of 'pleading' or begging to be believed by your soulmate? No, most certainly not!
It was a look that said, "it's time to finish him!"
Edited to add: Also, I know many would still be wondering why Khushi had to say those words, well, those were for the benefit of Shyam and the family members. See, Shyam and RM people don't know that Khushi and Arnav are together, that they are in on a plan, that the whole thing was to bring froward Shyam's true character and sow the seeds of doubt about him in their minds. It was for them that she told Arnav the above dialogues.
I hope the above gave you a bit of calm relief that Arnav and Khushi are very much in tandem. 😊
Moving on to the next issue troubling you, the delay in the slap:
STANDING BY SISTER AND WIFE
Very frankly, and very honestly, I think it was done to just fill in the 22 minutes long show! They wanted to keep the unravelling of Arnav's sudden slaps and moves against Shyam for next week, and so elongated the duration for the slap.
Even so, I could see that it was quite in line with ASR's character. Surprised? Well, if you really know ASR well enough you will see that he was torn between the two most important people in his life - his Di, and his wife. Two women who have undergone trying situations in life ' while one keeps picking herself up and moving on, the other prefers to overlook the nasty things or else takes the help of family to save her. One is strong and courageous, while the other is slightly weaker and dependent.
And guys do remember that Arnav actually moved much before Khushi looked toward him and said those dialogues. But he stopped for his sister. So see, even if she hadn't said those lines I'm sure he would have around the same point of time have come to Khushi's side. They are equals, they are on the same frequency level, he would have sensed that she needed him an would have come up to her right at the same time!
The delay in the slap was because Khushi till that time was still standing her ground, still fighting, still sparring, and tackling Shyam. The delay in the slap was because Arnav wanted to safeguard the fragile state of his sister. Her health was already failing, her pregnancy was another factor, the stress, tensions and volatile situation was what he tried to keep her away from. For her sake he stalled himself from smacking Shyam. Somewhere within, he too felt guilty for having not disclosed the truth about Shyam to her. Well, of course he did, but she apparently fainted, and he closed his mouth when he came to know that she was pregnant. Even so, he held Anjali all the while out of concern for her, out of care, devotion, and love for her.
Arnav knows very well that Khushi can withstand any storm by herself. She will face the lightening head on and will fight it as long as possible. Anjali however, has always leaned on him for support, and strength. He has always been there for her, by her side when the times were tough. How could he then leave her side at this crucial juncture?
It pained him of course, tortured him to see his wife being subjected to words of humiliation from the Devil. At one point he even made to move and strike Shyam, but seeing his distraught, weeping sister stopped him. Anjali's was in a terrible state right then - her whole fantasy-world was crumbling to pieces before her eyes, her God-like husband was being accused of heinous acts - she was unable to bear it all alone, and needed her Chotte, her support-system by her.
Arnav knew this and stayed with her even though he was itching to stand by Khushi's side and blast Shyam. It was only when Khushi, through her eyes and words, conveyed to him that she no longer had anything left with her to take on Shyam, did Arnav break away from hi Di, and move toward the other important woman in his life.
As a husband, as a lover, as an avenger - Arnav Singh Raizada stood along with his wife, supported her, and aided her in putting an end to the vile menace disturbing the peace of the house. He showed Shyam that Khushi wasn't alone. Khushi had him, Arnav Singh Raizada with her. Along with the two powerful slaps that he bestowed on Shyam, Arnav also slapped him a slap on his ego - that of, Arnav Singh Raizada not needing any proof whatsoever from Khushi to believe her. It was a slap for Shyam's statement to Khushi some episodes back, "Saale Saab toh humare shabdo par vishwaas karenge, woh kaha aap ki baat par vishwaas karenge!" (Brother-in-law will believe my words and not yours).
Arnav Singh Raizada did what was right. He did what he should have done a long time back. Arnav Singh Raizada took the second chance and did not repeat his mistake. For his sister, for his love - Arnav Singh Raizada stood up for both of them and delivered his verdict on Shyam cleanly, crisply, and quickly!
Okay guys, I will not be going into details of yeterday's episode as other Reduxians have covered those bases already quite well, and I have similar views as them, would just be a monotonous repeat if I write. Will just write a short note and leave it at that!ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA AND ARNAV BECOME - ONE
You know the most beautiful thing I got out of this episode? It was Arnav Singh Raizada and Arnav coming as one! He used his shaatir dimaagh and at the same time listened to his heart! His mind caught on to Shyam's lies, he linked Maami's truth, NK's narration, Payal's flashback and Khushi's honesty to get a clear picture on how Shyam can manipulate just about anyone. His mind did not let him react at first toward Shyam as he needed Shyam to reveal his own character in front of the whole family. His mind also delayed him from reacting on seeing Anjali's frail condition. His heart however, spoke up for his love. His heart saw the look of love in Khushi's eyes, telling him that she had done her job. His heart moved him to handle Shyam in a quick, swift way so that the pain for Anjali would be lessened to some extent. His heart propelled him to stand beside his wife, declare her importance in his life, and slap Shyam's ego for cheating and misbehaving with the two most important women in his life!
Arnav Singh Raizada came to the fore when he caught Shyam by his collar and dragged him out of RM. That was the ASR we know. A man who does not justify himself to others. He thinks something, he does it, no questions asked, no explanations given. What he says is the final word.
ANJALI KNOWS IT'S THE TRUTH
Over here I would like to mention Anjali. She knows, she knows that Khushi has told the truth. She knew about the engagement, she knew that Khushi's fianc's name was Shyam. She also knew that Khushi's engagement had broken soon after the pooja at their house after Shyam met Khushi for the first time (in her view). Right now, she is in a very precarious emotional position. Her fairy-world has been torn apart ruthlessly. I still maintain my stand - that Anjali always doubted Shyam, she always knew that there was something wrong, and that is why she kept upholding a scene of him being perfect. She did not want to believe it, did not want to accept the reality of Shyam being a false person in her life. She knew from a long time about him. So far she successfully kept her married world intact, by brushing off incidents, by pretending to over-look the obvious tell-tale signs of Shyam cheating.
Anjali just doesn't want to believe the truth, doesn't want to admit it to herself because she will only feel that she has failed as a person, failed as a wife. After facing sadness and failure early on in life, it is no surprise that she did not want to withstand one more defeat. Anjali is still a strong person inside. Yes, she is strong, she has to only call upon her strength to help her through. In all this time she could have been strong, but the fear of defeat, the fear of losing, the fear of facing her nightmare was what made her hide behind those dreamy draperies.
Look at her throughout the exchanges between Khushi and Shyam. Her eyes are closed tight - not wanting to witness the downfall of her dreams, her head bowed down, a sign that she knows what is the truth but doesn't accept it. When Arnav leads her out of the room she goes willingly, no resistance is put up to stay behind and stand up for her husband - why? Because she knows the truth about him, and she would do anything to get out of there and be as far as from the truth as possible.
Everyone has talked about Arnav's expression of anger when Shyam stopped them from leaving, but did anyone notice Anjali's? Her face is almost begging, beseeching to be absent from the whole scene. Her whole posture shows that she knows that she is defeated; her dream world has been mercilessly burned. The tears that run down her face portray the unrest, the distress, the itching want to be blind and deaf to all that's being said. Also, notice her expression toward Khushi - their bond that has been the strongest, their bond that started on the right note is on edge right now. Anjali almost pleads with her eyes to Khushi, her eyes say "Why are you doing this Khushi? Why are you tearing my safe world apart like this? Please don't do this, please don't take away my life!"
She stood there hunched - not wanting to confront her darkest fears, her worst nightmare. She hold on to the person most dear to her - her brother Arnav, who has always been by her side whenever she needed him. But for how long can a brother stand beside his sister while watching his wife undergo a woman's torture of her character being pathetically murdered? He stood by his sister for as long as he could until his wife's emotions touched him and triggered him to leave his beloved sister's side and stand next to the woman who till now always gave and never asked.
RM FAMILY SEE ANOTHER SIDE OF SHYAM
The RM family is left speechless with all that has been happening. They know Khushi's character very well. They know her good upbringing, her morals, her ethics, the values she holds, the true, genuine, pure nature that she possesses. Nani, Maami and Anjali have been constant witnesses of Khushi's love, care and concern for Arnav. They know how innocent she can be, how free of malice she is, how kind-hearted her heart is, and how she loves spreading smiles on everyone's faces.
Today they get to see this same girl's character being trampled and dirtied around by their own son-in-law Shyam Manohar Jha. The words he uses for her, the awful statements against her character, the besmirching of her nature and her qualities, dragging her values in muck, and muddying her upbringing is too much for them to take.
They are shocked with Shyam Manohar Jha. The usually sweet-talker, the man who listens to everyone, who gives sound advice when asked, the person who accepted their Anjali bitiyaa as his wife, who always brought her small gifts of love, the man who had a cordial, easy-going, polite demeanour with them all this while has suddenly metamorphosed into a creature that rattles on like an express train dishonoring a woman, their own daughter-in-law. They hear him throw the darkest, most disgusting allegations on their daughter Khushi, never in their entire life would they have imagined that a cool, calm, suave, warm person like Shyam could allow such dirty words to pour from his mouth.
Look at their expressions, hurt, pain, disgust, shock, disbelief, doubt - they are all present in the RM family's faces. The seed of doubt has been planted in their minds against Shyam Manohar Jha. They will soon start connecting the dots and will see that Khushi and Payal were right about him.
The biggest thought that will work against Shyam from the family's side is - he didn't think of Anjali once Khushi, Payal and NK coornered him. When she was near to fainting he didn't even move toward her. When Arnav led her away he stopped Arnav from taking her up, not caring one bit about her health, her mental condition, her emotions or even their unborn child. This is one glaring fact that will strike the RM people against Shyam - that after all these years of molly-coddling Anjali, Shyam didn't care two hoots about his Rani Sahiba and had insisted that she be there (to save himself, and have her protection of course, not that it worked in the end!)
WHY ARNAV THREW SHYAM OUT SO QUICKLY...
Arnav did think of his sister even then while confronting Shyam. Why do you think he cast Shyam out of the house so quickly? It was done for Anjali. The best illustrations for this point that I could get are a bit 'not-so-nice' but couldn't think of anything else. Here they are: When you keep your finger on a burning vessel for a long time, you get burned very very badly, however, if you keep it just for a second you escape with just a mild spot of burn, right? Also, if you take a sharp tool and cut it slowly through your skin, the pain is more, but if you do a quick swipe, you don't feel much.
Gory I know, sorry! Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that Arnav passed his judgement over Shyam and acted quick right then because he knew that the more time he passed in dealing with Shyam, the harder would it be for his sister to take it. She was already in pain, already tortured by the situation, she was drowning in a helpless state, her emotional state was high and he couldn't add to that condition of hers by prolonging his confrontation with Shyam.
This is the reason why Arnav Singh Raizada did not waste much time in throwing Shyam Manohar Jha out of Shaantivan - for his sister's sake!
Will leave the rest of his dialogue of "himmat" and his putting Khushi on par with his sister for Monday.
First Chaanta - "meri Di ko dhoka dene ke liye"
Second Chaanta - "Aur ye meri patni se batemeeszi karne ke liye" (hayye, how I love him saying 'Patni'!!) 😍
"Ye donon insaan meri zindagi main sabse zyaada important hai, aur tumne in donon ko dukh pahunchaane ki galti ki" My happinesss knew no bounds when he said this line. The look on Khushi's face was so touching... the poor girl after all her trials finally gets to hear her name being placed in the same rank as his sister Anjali. She knows how important Anjali is in Arnav's life, and to be sharing that same level' her radiant smile said it all! Her Rajkumar was with her, and would always be by her side now on!
Payal standing up to Shyam: I seriously LOVED Payal after ASR today! Hell, she even beat Shyam in this according to me. The elder sister has never tolerated anyone going against, or causing her sister trouble. If she could tackle ASR for the guest-house incident then Shyam was just asking for a thorough beating over the head with his lies about Khushi. I loved the way Payal stood her ground, faced Shyam, and gave it back to him.
I was waiting for this to happen since a long time - Shyam's look of utter hate toward Khushi. I liked how they did this scene. Arnav slaps him and says the dialogue about Anjali and Khushi being the most important people, Khushi looks at Arnav with tears of love and gladness in her smile, while at the same time Shyam looks at Khushi with deadly hatred, even as Arnav looks at Shyam in total fury! Shyam is going to come back even worse than before, more deadly than before, and this time he will think several steps ahead to destroy Arnav and Khushi. This time he will make sure that his plans cover every nook and crany so that Arnav and Khushi won't be saved by any means.
Next on... NK! This guy was always my sweetheart in the show and always will be! I was so thankful when he stepped up and cleared Khushi's actions of going to Shyam's room with kheer and all. Oh how I blessed him! NK's and Payal's involvement actually sowed the seeds of doubts against Shyam in the minds of the RM members even deeper. If it weren't for them, Khushi might have not got such a great benefit of doubt. Don't get me wrong, Arnav would have anyway said I believe Khushi and that's that!, but it was important for the rest to see other people backing Khushi's claims without her asking them to.
Shyam fumbles around with all his lies, and gets caught in his own web without knowing that he has laid down the most confusing, contradictory statements in front of RM members. Kopal (Chani123), whose post is below mine - the next one, has written some of them down very nicely, I would suggest you read her para on 'Shyam's slip ups' as repeating them here would be unnecessary.
What was also lovely to watch was Khushi standing up and admitting to some of the allegations that were true for her, while Shyam did not accept a single one of his! Who will have more credibility? Obviously Khushi who owned up to things she had done to save the family and Arnav.
Another great thing was that no one, not one single family member interrupted them. That means they are using their brains. They are not falling for Shyam's charm anymore (not that he has any left). Manorama Maami's face was the best as it was thoughtful and attentive all along. She is listening to each and every word, line, sentence, expression and gestures by Shyam and Khushi. We know her, she will use her brains, investigate, connect the dots and come to a final decision.
PayAsh are going to have a great divide come in between them with Shyam instigating Aakash to think why Payal didn't tell him about such a truth before marriage. However, Aakash and Arnav do know that it was he, Aakash who proposed marriage to Payal, while Payal had refused his advances.
Shyam's faade dropped so fantastically in front of everyone! All his words and his tone toward Khushi, Payal and Arnav showed everyone the real, dirty, ugly, mean face of Shyam Manohar Jha. Everyone witnessed a densely dark side of Shyam that they had never seen before. They now know how he is when he is cornered, when he is pushed, when he is tackles, when he is stripped bare of his 'holier-than-thou' personality!
Shyam Manohar Jha knows his game is over... for now. He now knows that Khushi and Arnav are together. He knows that Arnav Singh Raizada is aware of his misdeeds. He knows that Anjali is still his ace if she continues denying the truth about him. Shyam Manohar Jha never gives up, I have said this before, I admire this man only for his determination to keep rising after every fall. He will rise, he will strike back' one day, someday, when everyone is least expecting it, when everyone's guards are down.

CV's - A nice episode for those of us who know and understand the characters, but a slight let-down and confusion for the regular viewers who do not get into the nitty-gritties of the reasons, hints and nuances of the characters. At first even I was a bit puzzled at Khushi saying those lines, and it was because I felt that there was something odd that I knew that I was right ' it didn't fit because it wasn't supposed to fit. It was a hint that Khushi and Arnav were still very much together, the trust, faith and belief were present between them. But besides all that, an interesting, awesome episode! Thank you for the two dhamkedaar slaps! Everyone's favourite! 👏 🥳
Also, a request, could you please keep Karan Goddwani as NK as a permanent character? If not, please give him a logical decent farewell, or hint that he'll be coming back! Please, please!!!
