I see you guys rocking it as usual on the first few pages of Redux - kudos for keeping the spirit alive!! Loving everyone's take on tonight's episode, it clarifies a lot of things for absent minded souls such as myself!!! And my word, references to Shakespeare, William Blake, and now Lord Byron!? You girls make me so proud!!! *wipes tears* - aww bless ya!! 😉

Will try to comment on individual posts today, but in case I don't get round to it, let me just say:

Kudos to you all for posting such delightful thought processes. Nia and Ruby, both yours really stood out for me today, especially in light of looking at the 'bigger picture' and the silence which spoke volumes.

I personally enjoyed tonight's episode, and could see the need for such an extended revelation.

Loved shyam's one sided nonsensical verbal sparring, lol it was brilliant to see how even Arnav had to let out a sigh of despair and roll his eyes at such obvious falsehood! Shyam dug his own grave tonight, and not just one, several of them! I absolutely LOVE Abhaas's portrayal of villainy, he does it so well! For me, this episode highlighted how he was forced to succumb to pressure, albeit begrudgingly. The plan that Khushi and Arnav set in motion served its purpose; Shyam's revelation of his own true face.

The web of lies he'd spun had gotten so entangled that he's forgotten his intended facade. Today, his disregard for the family, especially Anjali's pain and her well being, made it all too apparent that his true colours are vastly different to what he had originally painted. Today, by spewing all that anger, venom and frustration, he unknowingly stepped out of character. He was so caught up in his own emotions and that of the others that he failed to keep up the pretence of the 'Shyam' that the family are so used to seeing. I'd like to think that that was perhaps the biggest shock factor for them - A man who's usually so softly spoken, caring, giving undue attention to his 'rani sahiba', respectful of others and charming, today, was completely devoid of any of these characteristics. It was Shyam falling in quicksand tonight!

And by the time he realised this, actually, I don't even think he did, he was too busy revelling in his own false sense of victory (Shows doesn't it, that intelligence clearly isn't his best forte!), Arnav had brought him back down to earth by giving his two tight slaps!! Brilliant scene and brilliant acting!

P.s. I was so proud of Arnav today!! Finally, he has given Khushi the respect and status she deserves; by putting her on the same pedestal as his Di, Arnav has openly declared how much he loves and respects Khushi.

*flashback* Arnav to Anjali: "Nahi Di, teekh nahi hein, mein batameez hun duniya keliye, aap keliye nahin, mera ghussa sab keliye jayeez hein, leikin aap keliye khabi nahi, mujhe iss duniya se koi matlab nahi, meri asli dunya to aap ho"

I'm so glad that Khushi is now finally part of this equation! Woo hoo! Wah, kya pyaar ka izhaar kiya tune aaj Arnav bituwa, too good!!! I knew he'd give her that due respect!! 😃
