Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai, Pehli Pehli Baar Hai!
(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -
Just when Khushi thought that she had warned Arnav about the impending danger, all the glass walls around her came shattering down, shading light on the dark secrets of Shyam...It was Shyam occupying Arnav's chair...
Today saw the the most heart wrenching moments between these two first time lovers, both are longing for each other but one is being pulled back by the ambivalence and lack of clarity; the other one helpless at the mercy of circumstances...
Khushi's eys depict profound shock as Shyam emerges from Arnav's chair. At the same time she is taken aback and confused...but she collects herself and agrressively enough, asks Shyam, "How dare you.."
Shyam interrupts..."Dare..?: He stands up, "I told you that this was a simple deal, despite that you are trying to provoke Arnav against me! Somehow I knew that you would try something like this. That's why I came here before you did!" He confidently throws his arms up in the air. With full force and confident walk, Shyam depicts the most courage on his face, he warns Khushi, "And believe you me Khushi ji, I am that kind of person who hurts himself intentionally for his benefit but does it very carefully! And when you are well aware of all these things --- why are you straining your brain so much?" Khushi immediately turns around on a whim and opens the glass door to leave the office when Shyam jumps to the door and holds her hand to keep the door shut as he continues to warn her, "Don't even dare try it - I am not done speaking with you yet!" Khushi forecefully removes his hand from hers, rage evident in her actions... Shyam angrily says, 'Listen! Let me make it very clear, even if you do not want to make a pact with me, it's ok. " With his eyes warning her sternly and face tells that he means every word coming out of his mouth, he warns her, "But do not try be an obstacle in my way.. otherwise..." Khushi fiercely responds, "Otherwise... otherwise what?" Shyam throws a cunning smile and says, "Oh, you are talking as if you don't know me!" Taking few steps forward very carefully, in a calm and determined voice he says, "I can destroy you just like that!" and throws a poisonous sweet smile at her, "Listen, I only want Arnav's signatures..then I will tell him whatever truth you want me to tell him... Just trust me!" Aptly, Khushi responds, "Trust? In you?" Shyam being the evil spirit to the last drop of his blood, throws an evil loud smile and then retreats to his shrewd tongue, calmly says to her in subtle threatening voice..., "Otherwise also, as far as I know, you do not have any other choice, Khushi ji! Right..? Beacuse..if I want I could tell Arnav the truth right now - the truth about how you tried to implicate me in your love.." Khushi cannot believe what Shyam says! "And you know Khushi ji, that Salesaab - Arnav - will believe me just like that" and he snaps his fingers...As Khushi gets more worried, Shyam continues confidently, "You better understand, Khushi ji, that at this time you need my help more.." with a winning evil smile, shamelessly he raises his eyebrows and asks rhetorically, "What say, Khushi ji?" Unable to take it anymore, Khushi pushes the door open and leaves the office. As she descends the stairs, Shyam looks at her with a confident winning smile - he knows he won round one!
I always anticipated Shyam threatening Khushi with what he implied today - Khushi surpringly never thought of that - he is an evil entity - probably does not even have a soul...
Khushi comes downstairs, thinks for a bit..worried she approaches an office staff and asks where Arnav is..she lets her know that he is in an important meeting...and that she might have to wait for a while. Khushi tells the staff that she would sit on the couch and that she should be informed as soon as his meeting is over. The staff nods in affirmative..,"Ok, Ma'm!" Khushi worried sick, deep in her thoughts..
Most Heartwrenching Moment: Arnav runs his meeting..discussing the changes he wants to make and expects with the newly acquired section of AR group of industries based in London. Khushi downstairs, restless... sits, intemittently paces... keeps thinking...worried tremendously..looks at the world clocks in the office..time running out on her...After many hours, Arnav is done with his meeting. As he walks back to his office..' he spots Khushi sitting on the sofa.. he stops for a moment..Khushi has a flicker of relieved smile - she obviously is happy to see him.. BUT..as she stands up, Arnav turns his eyes away from her and walks up the stairs..as the heartwrenching 'Rabba Ve' tune plays on the Piano in the background, not to mention my heart wrenching, eyes crying, soul hurting...only DM knows what she is putting these two lovers through..Khushi sits back down with a losing feeling in her eyes... Arnav's steps heavy as he climbs up the stairs..stops for a while again..as his heart is crying for his love, leaving her behind neglected...his mind is not with actions..but then choat khai hai pyaar mein, dard itni aasani se door toh nahin hoga...hurt in love, this pain is not going to go away that easily...he climbs up the remaining stairs heavy hearted...Khushi sits back down on the sofa with tears in her eyes, not knowing what to do ...
Hey, Bhagwan - Yeh kaisa dard hai - un dono ki aakhoan se mere dil mein yehan utar gaya - meri aakhein num ho aayi aur dil pighal gaya.. koi keh de jaaker Gul Khan se ki aisa dard pehle kabhi nahin mehsoos hua... Rabba ve!
Oh God! What heartwrenching feel is this! It came from their eyes and straight got down to my soul - my eyes welled up and my heart melted... Listen, someone.. please, go and tell Gul Khan that never ever have I experienced such immense pain before in my life... Rabba Ve!
(Author's Note: This scene was so beautifully enacted by Sanaya and Barun that it did not leave any soul unturned...I loved it! I loved it! I loved it! Kudos to the director...)

Most Heartbreaking Moment: Arnav comes inside his office, sits in the chair..opens up his laptop to work..but his mind is occupied by Khushi and the pain that comes with love..Khushi hurting sitting few feet away from him, longing for his one look...one word..that one moment with him of full attention... Arnav watches her sitting without anything to eat or drink whole day, waiting for him...his heart churning, longing for her...He looks at her with those somber eyes, filled with pain and restlessness, his mind numb...Khushi rises on her feet as she notices him looking at her from above.. immense pain and anticipation in her eyes..as their eyes meet - the fresh bruises of recent confrontation come alive im their minds... both re-live their recent confrontation in their minds..it hurts more..deeper..As Khushi starts taking slow steps forward, Arnav turns his back on her... Khushi stops... For Arnav, the ordinary man when it comes to dealing with his agony, it is too difficult for him to meet Khushi's eye.. he walks away from her not meeting her eye...
Khushi chases Arnav to his car, "Listen, please!" Arnav does not even look at her, gets in the car as Khushi tries to tell him, "Listen! Just a minute..what you think is not right!: Arnav rolls up the car window and drives away..as Khushi keeps pleading, "Just listen to me once.."
Arnav watches a dejected Khushi in his rear view mirror as he drives away.. Khushi dejected, her heart churning at her beloved's turning deaf ear on her...she thinks, "Your trust is very important to me... I cannot bear such hatred in your eyes for me! I must prove to you that I have not stooped as low as you think...Whatever it takes, I will win your trust, at any cost!' As Khushi vows to herself, she hears a chuckle..
Her eyes open wide when she sees Shyam spying on her...With a confident mean smile he walks up to her and offers his hanky to her..says, "How sad it is..he did not even wait to hear you out.." then he rubs it in, "Looks like unless I speak with him, he is not going to listen to you a bit.." Khushi's tears trickle down her face..Khyam, comfortably folds his arms and asks, "So, tell me Khushi ji, what have you decided? Look, think before you say anything!" Khushi thinks, 'I just want Arnav ji to know the truth! I just wish for him to know that I did not do anthing wrong..At this time I only have one avenue to get to the truth..to make it happen and that's Shyam ji!" She turns around, tears making her face wet, Shyam holds up the file with those papers..Khushi looks at Shyam wearily..Shyam happily raises his eyebrows suggestively looking at the file... Khushi accepts the file from Shyam...
Shyam still stands tall and confident, the evil - Khushi still stands ambivalent and suppressed, hurt - the truth... the contrast is striking - but that's the reality --- before 'Satyamev Jayate" "May the Truth Prevail" happens... there is a lot more to endure in this love for Khushi...and Arnav as well...
Khushi says to Shyam, "before I ask Arnav ji to sign these documents, I want to read those myself!" Shyam smilingly says, "Definitely Khushi ji.." and he walks away - his job on the right track..The mean spirit then seeks perverted enjoyment in his next question, "Shall I drop you off to the house, Khushi ji?" Khushi stunned at his audacity...
Back at RM:
Khushi looks at the file... feels restless. Just then there is a knock on the door..as she turns around, her eyes open wide - it's Shyam! Shamelessly he asks, "Khushi ji, is your job done? Khushi angrily says, "Would you stop doing this? Did I not say to you that I need some time to read the papers?" Shyam says, "Arnav's been home for more than an hour now..read those paers quiclkly and get me his signatures.. Otherwise, it might be too late..then.." he makes some gestures, good enough to warn Khushi that the consequences won't be good. Thenn he leaves. Khushi angrily closes the door, feels very restles..
Night time:
Arnav still working on his laptop.. Anjali walks over says to him, "Chhotey, you did not even eat dinner today! Why do you work so much?" Affectionately she hands him his coffee. "Di, I ate in office" Arnav says..Then she hands him a white envelope, as he thanks her in a somber tone she asks him if it is necssary to do 'that'. Affection and worry mixed, she says that in all there presence, why does he need to do 'That'? He says in a, soft voice, with mellow face, "I know, Di. Bue you know, I do this every year. " She nods and then leaves. Arnav's face soft and emotional, lost in deep thoughts.. then he looks up to the sky...
Khushi wonders if what she is doing is right or not..she wonders if she should even do it...ambivalent, she places the file in her bag...then comes collects her stars... somber face..she walks out of the room. Arnav open the door and walks inside, immediately notices missing sound of wind chimes..he looks around to find those gone. Then he notices that Khushi's stars are missing as well as her poster of Salman. He wonders about these facts as he walks up to his closet.
Most Lovable Moment: Arnav opens his closet.. notices that something is different.. Khushi's clothes are missing...he looks around... he gets worried...finds Khushi packing the wind chimes.. He calls out for her in a robust voice.. "Khushi!" My heart jumped with joy! No, ASR has not forgotten that his heart considers that he has full and sole right on her - that's what his call for her sounded like...no hesitation there...He asks Khushi in a heavy voice, with hurt eyes, 'What have you done to this room?" She answers in a heavy voice, with mellow eyes, "I made it all yours again!""What was the need to do that?" he asks her with some sharp steps towards her, heart hurting inside..voice heavy, unalble to look her into her yes, turns around..Arnav are you afraid that Khushi might read your pain, your longing for her in your eyes.. Khushi says, "I thought, probably.." he does not listen, turns around, snatches stuff from her hands and throws it away on the floor... happen to be Khushi's stars... second time, Arnav - granted that you did not know this time..grabs Khushi by arm, holds her close and asks her with clenched teeth..,"You cannot just change things around here whenever and however you want..Who gave you permission to change my room around? " his eyes depict hurt, emptiness.. Khushi's eyes welled up, she looks him into the eye and softly says, "No one did! And I realized that TODAY!" Arnav's defense melts..his touch changes to softer, his hands slowly slide down her arms, his face becomes softer, his eyes mellow.. he turns back into the hurt lover..
OMG, Khushi is turning out to be the most powerful lover here...her small gestures..her voice that is heavy with longing and understanding.. her gaze ready to envelope Arnav in her affection any moment... her tender face waiting to be caressed by her beloved, her body trembling to be supported in his strong embrace any moment...Her love and yearning being depicted in every move she makes, every action she takes, every thought she creates, every gesture she waves...Khushi is even more passionate lover than Arnav is...
He softly but sternly asks her, "What is this new drama now, Khushi? First it was the devoted wife..., then troubled me with your pranks and acts, and now..now what? Is it the act of playing helpless?" A new and mature Khushi answers him in all seriuosness, "Well, I thought if you do not even like to look at my face, how torturing it must have been for you to be surrounded by my things.." That moment, all the curtains of other thoughts occluding the clarity of vision of Arnav's eyes fall apart... His eyes become clear visioned, pure gaze prevails, with understanding, admiration, the profound depth of Khushi's statement..the purity of her eyes.. .his eyes just soak in the reality making him milder, taming his unleashed rage..

His gaze never leaves Khushi's face anymore..as she goes and collects her pillow from the bed and starts moving away from the bed, from him..he quickly understands her unspoken intentions..follows her swiftly..as Khushi opens the door to the poolside, his strong hand stops it in the middle..he closes it as fast as he can and tells Khushi with full authority, "Khushi, stop it!" Khushi insists, "No, today I will be outside.." and tries to open the door again.. Arnav quickly grabs her hand turns her towards him, throws the pillow away from her hands..looks her in the eye authoritatively and tells her, "I do not want to hear one more word! - no explanations..nothing whatsoever..Now you will do as I say.." Khushi says, "No, ..I ... I.." Arnav says in a firm but low voice - in a matter of fact tone, "Khushi, do not make me more angry, OK?" He takes her by arm firmly, brings her to the bed, drops her on the bed and says, "You will sleep in the bed..and that's final .. No argument!"
Wow! Wow! Wow! Hats off to the lover in Arnav! Only he knows how to tame his lioness without any arguments and he also knows how to correct his actions once he realizes his fault! I loved it! I loved it! I loved it! It was just brilliant - was just embeded among the actions..the gestures..the gazes..
Then he shuts lights off, takes his vest off and lowers himself on the chaise.. Khushi pulls the blanket on her as she lays down in the bed..heart still hurting... Arnav picks and hugs a pillow close to his heart- will that help ease his pain... as both of them lay down deep in their thoughts..hurting..
Khushi thinks to herself.."To prove myself innocent, I must obtain Arnav ji's signatures on those papers..."
Untold Emotions:
Shyam can never belong to anyone..he cannot love anyone but his motives.. he is a soulless entity...Evil to the core..ready to hurt his so called love..lust..Khushi at the first possible turn of events..
Khushi has realized her love for Arnav in the most painful way possible...when the right time comes, only Arnav will be able to bring her romantic side to surface... her chirpy self getting burried underneath the depth of true love - that profound love that is another inacrnation of the most powerful force of the nature..
Arnav is afraid that Khushi might read his pain, his longing for her in his eyes.. today that is the most evident feel in his eyes and ASR is unable to supress or hide it from his eyes successfully - thus the avoidance.. the avoidance ASR has shown today has nothing to do with the anger.. it has to do with her increasing longing for khushi- fear of losing Khushi - his being unable to control this situation...
Khushi realized for the first time that Arnav had not yet given her any moral authority on his self... but Arnav just realized that his heart had given her all the authorities on him long back...thus he tries to keep her to himself too weak to admit, too ambivalent to declare, too bruised to show off with love and affcetion at this juncture ...
It is the first time they are few feet apart - but longing for each other - no separation needed - they are true soulmates - their emotions are governed by the distance their souls feel from each other ... not their bodies... their eyes harboring the aching love for each other.. Khushi not afraid to have him see it in her eyes for the first time... Arnav too vulnerable to have her read that in his eyes under the circumstances...
Here come the first time lovers, trading the path of their first love...hurting each step on the way... feeling each other's pain...not communicating for the first time... their hearts closest of all times... yet their minds shores apart.. longing for each other... one unable to forgive... other one unable to prove their innocence...❤️❤️❤️
