(First Love, For The Very First Time!)
Part 15: Transforming Arnav

Arnav and Khushi --- Khushi and Arnav---
Just when it seemed like Arnav was enjoying watching Khushi's extreme efforts to care for him, everyone in family discovered that Arnav had recovered his voice much earlier - right after drinking the herbal mix. Khushi got upset with Arnav for keeping this secret from her and started demanding an explanation right away. Family leaves them alone to deal with it.
Today saw the melting of Arnav, gradual, subtle, gentle in his transforming into a human being...
After all the family members leave them alone to deal with their tiff once again - Khushi pushes Arnav over the edge by demanding an explanation...
Arnav grabs her hard, and harshly responds that he did not tell her because he did not want to give her credit for the recovery of his voice... But Arnav is not angry, though harsh, as he normally gets - most likely he blurted out something else than what he intended to say...His eyes empty, his voice hollow and then reflects a doubt in his own eyes when he says, "I don't want to give you any credit..." He himself does not believe what he is saying...
Khushi is shocked with his reaction...Khushi does not let him go that easily. In a gentle but firm voice, with matter of fact attitude in her eyes, she asks Arnav "what does he think of himself?" "What kind of person is he - just because he did not want to give her any credit he kept pretending that his voice had not recovered.."
Arnav likes to stay in control all the time and since morning that day, Khushi is the one who was in control...even though Arnav's ego is mellowing down, it will take time for him to completelt let go...Hence the outburst...It also is the child in Arnav that is having fun in this game of love...
Arnav turns around, much gentler but firm face...In fact, he once again listens to Khushi. His eyes devoid of any anger or any harshness. His face turns much gentler and eyes too as he keeps on listening to Khushi's questions about what kind of ego he has...and then...Arnav does something totally unlike Arnav - completely a Khushi style act - he takes tha knife out of Khushi's hand, Khushi's eyes open wide with surprise and horror as to what he is up to...Arnav puts the knife to Khushi's throat - totally filmi style - and says in a soft voice that his ego is very big and that's what makes him 'Arnav Singh Raizada...
Iloved it! I loved it! I loved it!
I mean first time Arnav Singh Raizada acting totally filmy like Khushi, which BTW Khushi loves, and it's her solution for all her difficult problems...
Arnav's voice soft, even though he is talking about his big ego - it's devoid of any fake ego, no anger, no harshness - instead has an attitude of just being a 'hero'... Khushi just missed that her Arnav played her own game, her own style with her - he totally behaved filmi...
Fireball Khushi is not going to fall for this...She finds out to Arnav that regardless of what he thinks, she still holds the credit for the recovery of his voice...Now, the loverboy Arnav loses it - he throws the knife on floor and makes an upset advance towards her... It is not easy for Arnav to let Khushi have the last word - not yet...
Just then Khushi all of a sudden turns into a sweetheart and says, "It's OK, no need to apologize so many times...I forgive you,"...An upset Arnav asks her if she has gone crazy ... She puts both her hands on his shoulder, lovingly grabs his shoulders and says that he should stop embarrassing her by continuing to say sorry... Arnav's facial expressions go from angry to confused to what is she up to now? -
I just loved the way Khushi held him! It's first time now that Khushi saved Arnav from Nani by making show of affection, her voice sweet, her eyes twinkling... then the wonderful eye gesture to point out to Arnav that Nani is watching them...Arnav will definitely remember her touch, her hold on his shoulders, her sweet voice and affectionate gaze while playing the game, "save our dignity."
Nani is a smart lady,regardless of Khushi's Effort, she senses that all is not right between Khushi and Arnav - so now Nani starts implementing her game plan---
Nani makes sure that Arnav comes to drop the family off at venue of competition. Then she casually takes the car keys away from Arnav. As Khushi comes to pick up her bags from the trunk of car, after everyone else has left, Arnav while handing her the biggest bag says very nicely to her, "Let it be, it's very heavy.." In other words, let me help you but Khushi promptly responds - Tapak se jawab deti hai - "Leave it to me, you have to bear the burden of you ego..." leaves Arnav stunned behind and does not notice that Nani is standing next to the car...
Arnav pleads to Nani for car keys, threatens to take a cab but Nani does not return him his car keys. He finds out that she has instructed Aakash also not to let Arnav leave! Before that Nani makes a comment, "Aur sab ke saath baithke aap tamasha dekhiye..." sorts of 'wait and watch, dear!"..
When an unwilling Shyam, on Anjali's request, preaches Arnav that he should stay for 'his wife's' performance, Arnav oozes with 'I don't give a damn' attitude towards Shyam and flatly refuses to stay behind...Once again Arnav did not get angry and did not lose his balance by getting irritated at what Shyam said - another positive step - he stays in control of his emotions...
In the meantime, Nani and Khushi have discovered that they forgot Nani's costume at home. Ultimately Nani calls the costume guy and arranges for a fresh delivery...
Khushi comes in the green room looking for Nani, at the same time Arnav also comes there looking for Nani - they both colloide with each other bang on - their forheads banging on each other --- as Arnav starts yelling at Khushi, 'Can't you see where you are going?" Khushi without paying any attention to what he is saying, holds him on his shoulders and pulls him closer to get his head to bang on her forhead again - Arnav asks her if she has gone crazy, she anwsers that she does not wish to grow horns - spoken like Khushi Kumari Gupta...(err, not like Singh Raizada!) Khushi's childish act...They both look so young, childish, tender and innocent at the same time - not to mention cute...
As Khushi tries to hurry past Arnav, she trips over the curtain - and once again, Arnav is there to protect his sweetheart from ANY fall...Arnav will always help stop Khushi's downfall - Shyam beware...As Arnav catches hold of Khushi while falling, the cutain rods give way and fall one by one over them - hurting Arnav's face...
Then comes the most beautiful moment between these two lovers - another first - this time, it's from Khushi --- Khushi immediately moves the curtain rods away from Arnav's face. Arnav hurt in face, eyes closed, wincing in pain - Khushi, askes in a desperate, worried voice if he is Ok, if he is in a lot of pain...She gently cups his face, then rubs gently on his forehead where he is hurt, rubs and blows a gentle breeze affectionately on his forehead - genuine worry and affection spilling over the brim of her eyes and face...As Arnav opens his eyes to see his Khushi so close, so gentle and loving, so worried for him - that tender touch of her - an incredible vulnerable feeling is so beautifully expressed in those awestruck eyes and face - the feeling of love, the tender warmth of the 'ehsaas' - the heartfelt realization - his eyes asking, "Who are you, my angel?" - Khushi slowly senses his gentle, warm gaze at her their eyes so close, talking to each other, they can feel each other's breath - Arnav's eyes not hiding the tender feelings and Khushi - for the first time realizing the gentle feeling of -'l o v e' may be - there was nothing else but just that tender loving warmth in his eyes for her - Khushi definitely sensed it, noticed it and her heart somewhere recognized it - that's why she became 'bechain' immedaitely and lost her control again - Arnav caught her in his arms again but they were wrapped in the beautiful golden curtain - ab in dono ki aakhoan ne utne paloan main kya kya baatein ki yeh toh bus wohi dono jaane... What their eyes communicated with each other in those moments only they know...- their lovely moment got wrapped in an golden envelope, sealing their embrace...I hope, Khushi caught a glimpse of his love for her in his eyes...❤️
Hayee, jab Arnav Khushi ko aise pyaar bhari acharaj ki aakhoan se dekh raha tha, mere hi dil main kuch kuch ho raha tha...Aur jab Khushi ko uski nazar ka ehssas hua toh mera hi dil dhadkane laga...I felt Arnav's tender loving gaze in my heart, deep down ... and when Khushi realized his gaze, my heart started beating faster...❤️😍
When Arnav walks next to Khushi and Nani as Khushi is completely engrossed in dancing and listening to the song - enjoying herself to the fullest - Arnav, once again, sees his 'Pagal' - crazy - Khushi..his face changes from embarring surprise to a gentle admiration with a sweet smile - that's the Khushi that he fell in love with! He keeps admiring her - fun, happy, enjoying herself, still looking innocent and beautiful - having fun with illuminated face - the gentle loving gaze of Arnav does not leave the sight of Khushi for a moment - as Khushi turns around to find him watching her with eyes full of gentle admiration, affection and a smile on his face - the smile on her face slowly wears off, a gentle but confused, "what's happening to me?" "What are his eyes telling me?" kind of expression on her face - not to mention we did not hear it but 'Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak' toh ho rahi thi!

As Khushi stands on the backstage enjoying the next song while trying to get ready for her performance, Arnav, keeps observing her - closely, with a deep tenderness and gentle feeling in his eyes - his eyes never failed to say how tender his love is for Khushi today - his gaze was not as intense but it was mellow, gentle, full of admiration as if Arnav is learning once again what his Khushi is all about...He cannot leave her alone, his eyes never wanting to leave her sight and noticing every little detail of her actions - that's why even though Khushi did not notice dropped earring, Arnav did. Khushi's sixth sense works and feels Arnav's presence but by the time she turns around he is gone...leaving her restless again...It is the beautiful beginning of Khushi's journey towards realization of Arnav's love for her - it is simply beautiful... Then Arnav appears, all of a sudden, in front of her - full of his tender charm and intriguing eyes, holding her earring in his hand - a restless Khushi, trying to catch her breath and control her emotions - almost starting to sense his feelings for her - hesitantly takes the earring from him with a trembling hand as Arnav's eyes never leave her face and Khushi finds the feeling in those eyes too intense to continue to look at them...❤️
Then Khushi gets ready in the get up of Heer, looking stunningly innocent but beautiful - Arnav once again finds himself admiring his Khushi in the beautiful red...😳
As Nani and Khushi recite the essence of the story - we see reflection of Arnav in the mirror - he is there but he is not there - his emotions being reflected on listening to Heer-Ranjha's story... When Khushi says, "...Kyounki Heer ke bina Ranjha ka koi wajood hi nahin tha..." it draws parallel depicting how Arnav's being human has no existence without Khushi...When she says, ..."Shadi ke din dono ki maut ho gayee..." it draws parallel with how Khushi and Arnav sort of had their emotional death on their wedding night...Arnav is lost in deep thoughts, Khushi becomes emotional - Nani instructs Khushi to go ahead on the stage for their performance... As Khushi leaves the green room, Arnav bomabards Nani with questions as to why they decided to perform when they did not rehearse...He is all worried about Khushi being alone unprepared on the stage...Then when Nani suggests that he should wear the costume of Ranjha, he is stunned!😲

Now we all know, Arnav cannot let Khushi down... Na toh Arnav kabhi haar sakta hai aur na hi woh kabhi Khushi ko haarne de sakte hai...😊 Neither will Arnav lose or will let his Khushi lose, ever!
Untold Thoughts: Arnav has played Khushi's trick of filmi style for the first time. He is adopting to her humorous ways of living life - slowly but surely. Arnav had a gentle, tender and loving look in his eyes all along - Khushi got multiple glimpses of those eyes, up close and personal - hope she starts realizing his love for her - there was no 'nafrat' - no hate or disgust to be seen even under stressful situations today. Khushi really did the best when she showed her concern for Arnav when he got hurt - till now it was only the lover boy Arnav doing those gesture for her. Another step in Khushi's journey of building the bridge of love and trust between them. Nani really knows her game well, she is bringing these two lost love birds back to each other and on their way back to each other, she is helping them realize the beauty of true love - somewhere trying to stir the true emotions of Arnav and Khushi for each other...❤️
Here come the first time lovers, trading their path of first time love - gingerly and tenderly - one being transformed into a human being and the other being transformed into an angel of love...❤️
