First off that was one hard slog. We are truly loyal fans for sitting through it and Mona Darrling --- yes 1 word wonly: SATYANASH!

But, I did thow out the question of what the CVs might have up their sleeve and so I watched carefully. Here's what struck me, some are really obvious, some are something of a stretch:

1. Shyam banks at Divya Jyoti Bank - not State Bank of India or Citibank, like us lesser mortals. Pretty sure that Devi Maiyya is going to shine a "divine light" on this particular piece of sleuthing, no? 😛

2. The Locket --- it got more screen time today than the bakri in the last 2 weeks, so that has to mean something, huh veeps? 😉 So what's in the locket - Shyam didn't even want water to splash on it. My first guess was a key to something to do with the 'napping. Any other guesses?

Also, that promo of Khushi trying to make fake nice with Shyam - kneeling/cupping his face--- hasn't played out yet. Does it have to do with her trying to get at the chain and locket? Maybe not, but just in case... forewarned is forearmed and that will be TOUGH to watch 🤢

3. Khushi specifically mentioned that they were not in a Raizada car to avoid detection, but didn't we hear that a Raizada car was following Shyam? Did I mishear or was that a blooper? OR... was there another car - Anjali or Akash? 😕

4. PayAsh satyanash...! That did not play for laughs and it was so random that it seems utterly baffling. Am I giving the CVs too much credit by thinking there may be more to this? Does that the 3 step plan to marital bliss really signal something else about how Akash and Payal take the news about the S-Anj-K triangle? Will Payal with buaji's help try to get Akash to "see" the truth and smell the chameli?

I know, I know --- I'm really reaching here but I can't imagine they just dropped that bit of nonsense in there with no thought at all. 🤪

5. The dinner table: This to me was the key scene of the epi. Diya's already talked the havan and the Mahabharata analogy. So this scene had a different alignment - Nani at the head of the table (Bhishma like elder statesman/person who's already protected K and given her "sharan"), Shyam and Mami on one side facing Payal and Khushi on the other.

Mami's attempts at helping Khushi have been "shot in the foot" and now she seems to share the same worry as Anjali about Arnav bitua and seems to want to force Khushi's hand. So when some of the truth about Shyam's chicanery is revealed is this what we will see? Nani seems sort of neutral, but on board with the idea that Arnav will get behind his wife. Payal seems to be on Khushi's side.

Anjali is missing - so is she the one who hears last? Akash too is missing, so maybe he also hears of the truth from Payal? Nani asks of the Raksha pooja prasad has been saved for Arnav --- so Arnav is missing from this tableau but he is a key player whose raksha hangs in the balance and perhaps Anjali is too as the organizer of the Raksha pooja.

Finally NK is also missing but he is working on Khushi's behalf and is the only one who has a hint that Shyam's sins extend beyond 'napping and may include harassment of Khushi.

Phew!... I really like puzzles and sometimes that means I see patterns where they may not exist. It's often fun for me --- but I can see why you may think it is terribly far fetched and craji! A cigar? ... well, sometimes it is just a cigar.
