Its the weekend and I am back here as promised!! 😊 Well.. I havnt much to say other than go on and on about how much I love this post and how much more I loved it now after a second read!! Could the dream sequence be interpreted, expressed and written any better than this? I doubt that!
Lin, just like you, I had a very extraordinary reaction to the sequence!! Having had no clue of the upcoming act, having no knowledge of a promo (if there was any).. it was a most pleasant surprise! I had seen a spoiler pic, the one that adorns my siggy box now in Kalpana's creative hues! But the pic did not prepare me for the wonderment! I screamed into my palms when it began and then went to lie down for a while in silence, all the time repeating to myself what was that! what was that! Needless to say I loved it!
Now the sequence definitely had a tale to tell! I noticed it the most upon watching Khushi's expressions in the reruns! Arnav's expressions were that of passionate love and longing.. but it was intriguing to see how he imagined her, how he saw her in his dreams! Beautiful, sensual, alluring, ravishing, elegant, graceful, and emotional, driven to him.. yes! But Khushi also looked wary, scared, tensed, and at times, sad! This is what made me think of the significance of the sequence! (Dont even get me started on the bare midriff! I was surprised and went 'oh dear!' when I saw it, loving it no less but wondering at its significance again 😳)
When I read your interpretation of the act, it has put my mind to rest, answered my questions, cleared some doubts!! The coming together, the repeated separations and the ensuing emotions were all too evident.. but you have taken each frame and explained it so explicitly.. I can only marvel at your deciphering skills! Arnav's wonder, Khushi's smile, the contrast and the transformation from darkness to light, the exchange between the two pairs of eyes, the circling, the surrender and the separation in all the phases.. just wow! The moment in the surrender phase three is my most favorite one too!
The CVs have done a marvelous job of telling us a story in a sequence and so have you! So this tells us about what the future course of the story will be like! It was expected, heart breaking no doubt, but these are two star crossed lovers.. and the path of love never did run smooth! I am just waiting to see how this unfolds to us, I am ready to be enthralled by it like I always am! It will be interesting to see how they move away with mutual consent and understanding.. will it bring any bitterness later on? One does have a price to pay for choosing one path when presented with a predicament of two or more!
The rest of the story is more or less a Mission Rescue Arnav dragged out in all possible ways with a few exceptional NK and Maami moments! Khushi has decided to leave no stone unturned to get her Arnav ji back! Playing a dangerous game, getting herself entangled in a web of half truths and lies! The end that she is so determined to achieve justifies the means, but life doesnt let you go easily with the means you choose! Dreading what all this planning could land her into!
A special mention to Shyamu.. playing his games of darkness and shadows, finally emerging as the potential villain he was always only projected as! His evilness knows no boundaries, unfaithful, disloyal, adulterous, ready to betray, to break trust, to hurt, even to kill.. at all times alert and watchful!
Yes.. its getting interesting and captivating now! Loving the drama! Waiting to see how the game is played from here on, who makes moves, when and how!
PS: There was a beautiful telepathic conversation between Arnav and Khushi right after the dream.. hoping for you to express your views on that too!! For me, it was a most unusual, delicate and a beautiful moment! ❤️
