(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

Dark Knight and Divine Intervention!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Arnav thought that he had tricked the kidnappers... he ended up alerting them again. Just when Khushi thought that she had lost all the avenues of getting to Arnav, a new door opened up. Just when Anjali thought that she could amend any situation, deception washed away her path to success..

Today saw the rise of White Knight against the Dark Knight... another round went to the Dark Knight... rejoicing in the success of planning Dark Knight cast his shadow on the White Knight but unaware of the divine intervention that will ultimately take away all the rounds from him...

The Dark Knight takes his chair and rocks easy... the White knight gets hit by the evil in face...stronger in his determination, the White Knight unleashed.. now physically as strong as he could be in the given circumstances, goes full force at the evil... putting up a strong fight.. he makes himself free of the grips of those four evil forces and leaps towards the Dark Knight.. with every intention of unmasking him...when he encounters another strong force of evil.. stopping him from reaching the Dark Knight.. he tries to reach with all his energy and determination.. his hand once almost makes contact with the Dark Knight's... but does not really materialize... The forces of evil, place a black mask on his face and tie his hands.. leave him alone --directionless to be only physically assaulted again by the dark forces.. with his hitting the ground close to the shoes of the Dark Knight! The poor soul of the White Knight, Arnav Singh Raizada, gets physically dragged across the warehouse in the dark.. in no man's land...

(Author's Note: Loved the beautiful shot at the beginning when ASR gets hit in the face and all the water sparkles around him.. loved the way he leaps at the boss of the kidnappers' - even though full filmi style.. these were brilliant cinematography shots!)

Dark Knight.. rocks in the chair.. thinks.. the whole conspiracy he has designed unfolds in front of his eyes.. leaving no doubt in anyone's mind that it is none other than Shyam, before the face of Dark Knight is revealed.. That will of Arnav Singh Raizada that gave Anjali all the inheritance... Shyam's struggle to have the papers exchanged for the ones he needed in his name after Khushi had satisfied her own query and read all the papers.. Khushi informing him how she definitely has obtained the signatures of Arnav on those papers, showing him the proof on her phone... only to be told that he cannot have those till after he reveals the truth to Arnav.. but destiny played in Shyam's favor and Laxmi became the means for Shyam to obtain those signed papers without Khushi's knowledge and hide those under the swing for yet to be born child of his...Instructing his people to get started on the conspiracy... But destiny took away all the favors with the revelation that ASR, the braniac, had another form of will with his lawyer clarifying that if he dies a death due to unnatural causes, or under suspicious circumstances, all the inheritance goes in a trust... That's when the Dark Knight decided to play another game and kidnapped.. Aranv Singh Raizada but made him so miserable that he could not put a real fight back...

Shyam Always a Step Ahead of Khushi: The emotions depicted on the Dark Knight, Shaym's face leave no choice but to hate him..eyebrows frowning... eyes showering the ignited coals - look dusky on the top but are full of flame inside... his face has the deep weird smile of immense satisfaction yet the dilemma about the unknown... his hand gestures.. full of pride and control yet his foot steps lacking one step in confidence..hatred and happiness mixed in those dirty evil eyes..flash backs of continued conspiracy..the text that was sent to Khushi about Arnav reaching London.. Having him call on land line and talk to his family.. ..not initially realizing that the girl captured is Khushi..so letting her go... but when he finds out that they both run away, he realizes it is Khushi.. always one step ahead in the game, Shyam correctly reads Khushi's next move.. asks his people to capture Arnav only and let go of her, but move him to another place.. knowing that she will be back where he was found before!... Then calling and warning Khushi that if she opens her mouth, then Arnav will be dead! Throwing the wooden plank at Mami and Khushi as a warning with strict instructions not to get Khushi injured...so far well executed plan.. the sight of the black mask that covered Arnav's face.. fills Shyam's eyes with hatred and he throws it away with a vengence.. Arnav lays unconscious in a chair in front of him...

At RM, Shantivan: Khushi does her bed and sits on the edge.. images of unconscious Arnav being carried away feel her mind.. she breaks down in tears.. wonders what to do as Mami's advise runs through her mind... Just then, a knock on the door.. Anjali walks , Khushi wipes her tears off... Anjali drops additional blanket on the bed and says, "It's rainy season now! Chhotey likes to have all the windows closed with AC in full force..so, another blanket will definitely be needed!" Enthusiastically she says, "You know what, last year he was sneezing so much around this time.." then it flashes back to her, "Wait a minute! It's not just him.. you too! You both were sneezing a lot! Who knows what he is up to in Scotland! I am sure that he is sneezing with AC full on.. my Chhotey!" affectionately says Anjali. Khushi, with somber face, says, "Di, I will go and water the plants.. " Anjali surprised.. looks at her.. says to herself, "If Khushi ji stays so mellow missing Arnav.. I think.. I will have to do something to improve her mood!"

(Author's Note: The sneezing clips shown of Khushi were recent and not the ones from a year back when Arnav and Khushi soaked in the rain in the parking lot and sneezed a lot next day...it makes a difference as then she was unmarried and the clips shown have her with mangalsutra...)

Ladies in Black: Khushi waters the plants in Arnav's garden.. her mind full of vivid memories.. of her meeting with Arnav.. running into his arms for the first time.. running away from the kidnappers.. hand in hand.. to be protected by the strong embrace of Arnav... Khushi closes her eyes..But before Khushi did.. I closed my eyes.. every time I watch him embrace her tight saving from the evil... my heart misses many many beats.. it is something to be felt and cannot explained... Khushi next remembers her most intimate moments with Arnav.. somehow that gives her more courage.. she says to herself, "Stop crying, Khushi! Remember what Mami ji said.. that we will definitely bring Arnav ji home!" Khushi wipes her tears off, puts the watering can down.. gets startled by some loud footsteps.. she calls out, "Who is there?" She sees some shadows..follows them outside.. steps out of her room.. all of a sudden a voice comes, "Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada!' Khushi turns around.. "Nani ji!" her eyes go wide.. Nani ji in a pant suit.. On the other side, Payal and Anjali in pant suits join them.. Payal goes, "What do you think.." Anjali joins, "Why do you sob.." Nani too joins, "Is there something on your mind or just missing someone really?" Payal - "Now look here!" Anjali - 'Since Chhotey ji has left.." "My heart does not find solace in anything.." Nani ji. "And the mind wanders.." Payal. Anjali cups Khushi's face and affectionately says, "keeps talking to the plants.. and makes a lot of jalebis.." Nani adds, "Look Chhotey, in your memory.." "she cries many many small tears.." Payal adds as Khushi bursts out crying, "Don't forget... dawn follows every night... and every separation culminates in a stronger bond.." Nani adds, "Then why fear..and lay out the pearls of tears.." Anjali concludes, "And to see you again.. your beloved will come rushing.." Khushi says with a heavy heart and tearful eyes, "I ... I will go to the temple.."

Payal tries to follow her when Nani says, "Leave her alone. She needs more time.. I am sure that eventually, Khushi will be able to control herself!"

The Reconciliation: As Khushi's feet near the temple... she remembers her last conversation with Devi Maiyya.. soon after her hasty marriage.. "Say something, Devi Maiyya! How can you keep quiet? Everything went wrong with me and you kept mum! Do you have no answers for me? That demon married me on the condition to keep my Jiji and family happy..but you could have done something.. how did yuou let this happen? Now, I do not want to talk to you.. or cry.. I am not going to give up so easily!" Khushi's feet hesitate as she reaches the threshold to the temple... With moist eyes and a heavy heart. Khushi takes the most important next step and enters the temple.. says to DM, "I know that you are upset with me!.. last time.I said.. .. Now.. Whatever punishment you want to give me.. do punish me..., but do not punish Arnav ji for my mistakes!... Punish me! I made mistakes and he got the punishment.. not fair! Forgive me, Devi Maiyya!.. I cannot see him suffer.. yesterday.. I was so close to him... I know what's on your mind! I stopped talking to you because of Arnav ji! But that same Arnav ji has brought me back to you now... I need your help .. desperately.." Crying Khushi says, "I need your blessings the most today! I must find Arnav ji and I cannot do it without you! Show me the path that will lead me to him!" Khushi closes her eyes and prays to the goddess. The priest puts tika on her forehead and hands her DM's chunari.. scarf... as her blessing and gives offerings as well. Tearful eyes and heavy heart, Khushi still does not feel relieved but does get hopeful.. "You have given me your blessings and offering.. I believe now that you will show me the path to find Arnav ji!" Khushi prays to the goddess before leaving.

Ab jeena mushqil hai. It is difficult to keep living
Fariyaadein laaya hoon. all my complaints are in front of you
Tere dar pe. at your doorstep
Main tere dar pe aaya hoon. I am at your doorstep
Kuchh kar ke jaoongaa. I need to do something

At RM: Anjali opens door for Shyam. Says, "You seem very happy today!" "Yes, there was something bothering me for a long time - I quietened that down today.. so I feel relieved!" Anjali says, "Your talk is beyond my comprehension!" "This innocence of yours.. that's what I love about you! " Shyam says to Anjali. Just then Khushi walks in through the main door. Pooja thali in her hands... Anjali welcomes her and then asks worried, "Khushi ji, are you alright?" Then she continues apologetically,"Please, forgive me! I did all of that just to help your mood!" Khushi says with a light smile on her face, "I know, Di! It is just.." Shyam, who watches her intently, interrupts, "What happened, Khushi ji?" Khushi and Anjali both look at Shyam.. Anjali answers, "Khushi ji's been missing Chhotey badly.. that's why her mood is a little off, right?" Shyam watches Khushi's face closely.. Khushi says, 'Di, Davi Maiyya's prashaad...offering" and hands her the prashad. Anjali accepts it with immense faith and respect. Then Khushi moves to give Shyam the prashad.. diapproval in her eyes..challenge, non chalant feelings.. in Shyam's eyes.. Khushi goes to give the prashaad to Shyam when the chunri.. scarf from the pooja thali falls on floor. close to Shyam's feet.. Anjali and Khushi both rush to pick it from the floor, but Shyam asks Anjali to hold off.. Khushi grabs the chunri from the floor but as she does, her eyes catch the sight of blood stains on Shyam's shoes... Thinking wheels start churning through Khushi's mind..She gets up.. looks at Shyam with unsettled gaze.. Shyam looks at her trying to fathom what's on her mind... just then his phone goes off.. Khushi ends up not giving prashad to Shyam... She looks at Devi Maiyya's chunri.. and her mind takes swirls deep down the think tank..
