You may be right Shreya, but like I said, since we do not know about his background, it would be unfair to assume anything. But his inferiority complex does seem to originate from some circumstance in childhood, which might have led him to marry Anjali for wealth. It would be nice to look into the past lives of all the main characters in order to understand them better!

i had started making a list of episode numbers and the date aired since January, nearly complete

we can start backwards from recent reduxes and start pastung the links

Nia, @bold lines. -> Shyam said that khushi looks at him with nafrat bhari eyes. His dialogue "You might not be looking at arnav with that eyes" was a continuation of the nafrat line. So I don't think he is deluded at this point that khushi loves him.

At what point the delusion broke? Last time when they talked after arhi marriage he was pretty much confident about 'their love'. All of a sudden he is sure that khushi looks at him with hatred?😕

Arrey, I just remembered yaar, can't believe i'm such a doofus! She almost let slip about her 'pyaar' when he was convincing her to get ASR's sign on the will na!!! That was the point when he saw that Khushi has a soft spot for Arnav! (Sheesh, I wrote abt it in my old analysis also, and I only forgot!!) 😕

And yes, that was a mistake on my part - that Shyam is deluded that Khushi loves him... doesn't seem like he is deluded anymore... but now, he is thrilled that he's got away with ASR's sign, and that the property will soon be his, so he thinks that if he could manage this so nicely, he can easily get away with thopoing (asserting) his authority over Khushi and whatever else Arnav possesses. Tants lines about Shyam explain this quite well!

That line about how she looks at him with 'those' eyes were brilliant! Such an amazing clue for the future! Me was dancing with joy when he said it!! 😆
