Confused with the episode??? Or, you all are confused with the spreading of spoiler??? Well with the spoiler I cannot throw light upon because I never believe in the leaked news item; that is not my forte. To me these spoilers are much like a student pays bribe to get the question papers before the exam if I look from an audience perspective; and if I look from the PH and Channel's perspective then these spoilers are there getting the momentum in audience's mind. Simple. Understand this. Right now the PH and Channel are bombarded with mails from Barun/ASR fans, hence they need to release some spoilers which can give them the momentum they required. Pretty Logical. The promo spoiler that is spreading around, is designed in such a way that it will ensure the publicity they would love to have at this juncture. I never am interested in these spoilers or even promos and never allow myself to be engaged in the discussions either. So, I am not the better person to judge. One thing I am pretty confident of, is, whatever I believe is always through the episode. Nothing speaks in a more profound manner than the "Episode" regarding what is going on in the writer's mind. Hence, my advice to you all is - "Always believe in the action (read: work) of a person rather than the words".

Do you realize why I have given the title "Little drop of dew"??? actually it meant - "One drop of dew" instead. Why I have said that??? I always have mentioned that ask youself the question, WHY?? Since I had to open Redux early and after I watched the episode, I got the message but as I always put the title based on the message, I thought since I got the message will put the title; so that by the time I update my post, you all can at least figure out the essence of today's episode. But I was "Disheartened" when I saw none of you have asked this question - "Doodle why did you give such an unusual title ' little drop of dew"??? What does it mean??? And none of you have even tried to start a discussion to decipher what it could be??? Since this poem is in bengali, I have pasted the translated version, but still you all are interested in discussing - Shyam's lust, the spoiler promo and Shyam's advances towards Khushi etc. etc. For a moment it came to my mind why am I doing this??? Why am I taking the pains to explain what is going on in the episode and deciphering the tracks and helping the PH in making the serial a bit better; I know they have the vision but they also need to have that "dur ki soch" which I am helping them with; but for whom??? For "You All" and here I see in the most "Important Thread" of the forum the readers are more interested in the spoilers than the message of the episode as if time is running out. I get tons of PMs requesting me to never stop writing and all claim to be an avid reader of my analysis, but did anyone realize today why Naani was sitting in the lounge and "Stitching" the garment??? Did anyone realize today that somewhere in my analysis I have described the difference between "Symbolism and Metaphor" and the creative team has used the same "Example" and did such a beautiful job in using it in a proper way??? No. NONE. One spoiler news from the PH and all my efforts and your beliefs in my analysis went down the drain. I got numerous PMs asking me - "Doods, you said confession will be in June/July, how will you explain this promo"??? Seriously, this will ever happen to me I never knew. Now I realized why you all need me, just so because I solve the puzzles in the episodes. That's it and that much I am valued for. All I will say that you believe what your heart wants to believe. Never believe me on my face value as I always say; judge me and then believe me. I am also a human and I also do make mistakes. That's all I can say.

Let's come to the title first:-

In the words of Rabindranath Tagore:-

"Bohu din dhore, bohu krosh dure,

bohu byay kore, bohu desh ghure,

Dekhite giyachhi parbotmala, dekhite giyachhi sindhu,

Dekha hoy nai chokkhu meliya,

Ghar hote shudhu dui pa feliya,

Ekti dhaan-er sheesh'er upor ekti shishir bindu."

Which goes like this ...

"I traveled miles, for many a year,

I spent a lot in lands afar,

I've gone to see the mountains, the oceans I've been to view.

But I haven't seen with these eyes

Just two steps from my home lies

On a sheaf of paddy grain, a glistening drop of dew".

Hmmm. Who all understood the poem??? Whenever I read this I get goose bumps. One of the best metaphoric poems of Rabindranath Tagore I have read; all his poems are one of a kind to be apt. Did you realize the metaphoric meaning in the above poem??? This says, "I have been looking for greener pastures far far away, went to visit various places and have spent lots of money to see myself beyond the other side of the river, I have run after so many things and wanted to enjoy the life that I dreamt; I chased my dreams all along and have always thought of myself wandering from this place, my home but I never knew that; until I realized that all my eternity and heaven was always with me, in front of my eyes, near my home, in my home, by my side". In one sentence it says - "We don't value what we have on hand". We don't value where God had placed us.

Yes, this is the message of today's episode; this is the message and it is both for Arnav and Shyam. Today's episode profoundly managed to deliver this simple message with finesse; Arnav was not even present in the episode yet all the hints were that the day is coming pretty soon for him to realize; that when Khushi was always in front of him he never valued her righteousness; he never valued that his world always revolved around her; he never realized that this girl have become the integral part of his life and he always butchered her morals and innocence slowly slowly; that he actually never even understood her and believed in what he saw rather believing in her actions. Yes, that day is coming pretty and it will be far more torturous than he will ever imagine.

The same way today's episode talked about Shyam; his dreams and the means of fulfilling it. He always looked away rather than concentrated on what he had in his hands; his Anjali and the future. Do you remember what he said to Anjali today??? He said - "Rani Saheba, shower mein kuch kharabi hai kya??? Pata nehin lagta hain paani ke connection mein kuch problem ho gayi hain, paani dhang se nehin aa raha hai". Isn't it interesting???

Here cometh my analysis on Apr 23rd where I explained the difference between "Metaphor and Symbolism". Excerpts here:-

Now, the most debatable topic ever ' Metaphor v/s Symbolism. Metaphor will be related to real life comparison but symbolism is what you are interpreting, where there is no such connection at all. A metaphor is an example, or different way of explaining a concept, to better understand the concept or idea. A symbol is more of a physical thing to look at to be used to represent a physical thing. There is a very fine line between metaphor and symbolism. They're related, but a metaphor is used to draw a comparison between two distinct objects, whereas a symbol is used a stand-in for a much more complex, and generally more abstract, idea. In literature, a metaphor would typically be used in a specific instance to compare two objects, but a symbol would be used throughout the work as a major part of the theme. Metaphor is proven but symbolism is not IMO.

Like I explained in "Raisin" or "North by Northwest". Raisin is compared to "Deferred Dream"; when we weave a dream we nurture them and when slowly slowly the reality strikes in and the dreams are deferred then it becomes like a raisin in the sun. This is called "Metaphor" or an example I can cite - the life cycle of a butterfly could be a metaphor for the career of a ballerina or like we say "love is like a rose" which basically means "Pyaar katon se bharphur hota hai."

But "Symbols" are used as "Substitution" like "a pipe for a father's authority" or "Liberation like a bird". The pipe and liberation have little inherent meaning, the author uses them (consciously or not) in reference to the real subject.

Now remembered??? I said I will explain when it happens because in metaphor you don't require to project it as a major part of the theme whereas in symbolism you need to. They have projected the "Bath scene" is such a way that it almost disclosed entire track from Shyaam's plan to Arnav's realization. Everything. Now, what example did I give on Apr 23rd analysis while explaining symbolism??? "A pipe for a father's authority". Pipe is used here as a "Way", "Path'. Isn't it??? The same way when Shyaam said "Shower mein kharaai hai kya"??? WOW. Now that is a Symbolism. Then he said again - "paani nehin aa rahi hai".Another symbolism. When Anjali suggested to go use Arnav's bathroom he agreed and why not??? You think it's for Khushi??? Naah. it's for himself. Why??? Read me on here.

What is water used for here??? And Shower??? It means "Flow of money". Always remember symbolism is based on a theme; it has to have a flow; here the entire second part of the episode is based on this "Flow of Money" theme. Now, Shyam married Anjali only on the purpose of "Money" and to acquire "Wealth". Here I will take you to the episode where Anjali had caught Shyam red handed in Arnav's room, remember??? It was Mar 29th epi. There Shyam managed to convince Anjali that she and their baby princess is his property; isn't it??? I also mentioned that I loved the voice over in that episode. Here I am pasting the same for your convenience. Just read it:-

I liked that the Creative team have over-recorded Shyaam's dialogue here. His confirmation "Aap aur humari honewali rajkumari hi toh humari puri jaaydad hain" was added later on. Nice correction because Anjali's deliusion is still needed for the story to move forward and keeps Shyaam character intact. That's why he confirmed again on the property thing with Anjali and I loved that the CVs have also confirmed that whatever it is Shyaam will never leave Anjali till he acquires the wealth and Arnav's recent conversation proves that the legal papers are indeed to keep Anjali-Shyaam together by hook or crook.

Didn't I say then that Shyam will leave Anjali's side the moment he'll have the wealth on hand??? Yes, and today as per his knowledge he has acquired the wealth. What is the need for Anjali then??? He said - "Shower mein kharaabi and paani nehin aa rahi". Of course, it is. Now the flow of money is not there in Anjali's grip. So he doesn't need her any more. The pipe (read: Anjali) is useless now for him, isn't it??? He is owner now and he has the flow of money in his fist; just a matter of time for him. He said - "Raani sahiba ne sujhav di" to Khushi. Indeed. The Will was in her name and so Shyam changed it on his name, her life partner. Interesting. Now the most interesting part; Anjali said - "Hum HPji ko abhi bolke PLUMBER ko bulatein hain". What does a plumber do??? Repair right and make the pipe in working condition again so that the shower works properly and water flows without any interruption. What is the plumber here??? Yes, the "WILL" and fantastic part is Shyam himself denied the option of Aakash. Wonderful. Now this is what is called - Symbolism. This is why I always say, symbolism needs continuity; the entire second part was about the "Flow of money". Shyam will be back again to Anjali as she is the "PIPE" to his "Wealth". This is why I said that the "Will" be such which will ensure Anjali and Shyam be together by hook or crook. Shyam is right now celebrating his victory and so he is digging his own grave. Which is why I said he doesn't know the value of "one little drop of dew".

There is another connection with the "Shower" here and that is "Tea". The creative team has clubbed these two properly. Who remembers the story of "Shoemaker and Elves"??? There elves helped the shoemaker who solved the problem and the wife of the shoemaker "Stitched" garments for the elves. The moral of this fable is "helping each other". I'll take you now to the episode where Naani witnessed Khushi's righteousness, remember??? Today also the same thing happened. This time Anjali also was roped in. What was Naani doing in the lounge today??? "Stitching" right??? Nani and Anjali are elves here in the lives of Arnav and Khushi because these two pious ladies have witnessed all the worries about Arnav that clouded Khushi's emotions. I remember in my analysis on May 10th (Ra.One), I said Arnav needs to hear also from both Naani and Anjali about Khushi's righteousness and love because the "Lover" Arnav will be satisfied by the Terrace Confrontation but what about the "Brother" Arnav??? He needs to learn that whatever Khushi had hidden from him and his family was for the betterment of Anjali only. Directly or indirectly he needs to hear that. Who better than Naani here to assure him that Khushi was always on the right path???

Here cometh the "Tea" part. What is the purpose of "Tea". Tea gets "Destroyed" and "Tortured" in boiling water to release the "Flavor" and "Color" and satiates pleasure in others. Isn't it??? Now this is "Metaphor" and not a symbolism. I hope by the end of this analysis you all will learn to pick the difference between metaphor and symbolism. Well, Khushi here is compared just like Tea. The scene was the same as in Mar 30th episode. There Khushi was equally worried and Naani witnessed the righteous Khushi. Today Naani witnessed a different facet of Khushi. She have seen this Khushi as adding flavor and color in Arnav and rest of the family member's life but today that colorful and flavorful Khushi even forgot to smile. This is why Anjali witnessed when Khushi said in the beginning - "wohi toh di, hum haansna bhi nehin chahtein". Khushi is not even been able to be true to her name; she forgot smiling, living life happily; everything. This Khushi was witnessed by both the elves here and they will be the "food for thought" for Arnav when Khushi will be hospitalized and here will the famous advice of Anjali will come into play - "jab woh tumse dur chali jayengi toh tumhaare saansein ruk jayangi".

Then most important thing noticeable here is Naani declined the "tea" that Khushi brought for her. Why??? Why??? And Naani said - "hum chai peeyee rahein". WOW. This is good. This meant she knows the girl - "Khushi", she doesn't need to know her. But there is one person who needs to know this Khushi and that is the mighty "Arnav Singh Raizada". You know why??? Just after this scene Khushi rushed to her room and she saw the devil. Here is the connection between metaphor and symbolism. Now I will deliver the GOOD NEWS here which will make all of you happy.

When Khushi entered the her bedroom she saw the devil and the devil was waiting for her just to pull her in his trap. Read my explanation carefully here.

Shyam came out of the shower and waited for the prey. The moment she stepped in, he started his game of "Wolf and the Lamb" here. What did I mention above about another interesting characteristics of "Tea"??? How the tea brings out the flavor and color??? Yup, when the tea is grilled and boiled in the boiling water; this is how they release the flavor and color; this is how they satiates the taste for others. Isn't it??? Shyam is celebrating his victory now and he is getting restless to shout on top of the voice that he is the "King" of this house. He needs to be in the vicinity of Arnav's room to have the feeling of "Authority". Shyam had already succeeded in poisoning Arnav's mind and now his other goal is "Khushi". But what he doesn't know is that this victory is temporary for him; for his actual "pipe" for "Authority" is seeking help from another "Eye Witness" - "Hari Prasad", the only person apart from Mamaji who have witnessed Shyam always at the wrong places, in the wrong time. Bingo.

Shyam said - "waise kami bhi kaise Khushiji??? Woh ho ya naa ho, naa aap ko farak padhta hain aur naa hi aap ke shaadi shuda zindagi mein koi gehra badlao aa sakta hain". The biggest mistake of Shyam here is that he is not realizing the "IMPORTANCE of Arnav - Khushi Equation". The word "KAMI" is self-explanatory and here his "Ignorance" is defined. The game have started and Khushi slowly is picking all the pearls of wisdom. But then Shyam did deliver the biggest hint - "Waise bhi, aap Arnavji ko inn nazron se kahan dekhti hongi ... is tarah toh aap sirf humhein hi dekhti hongi"??? WOW. Now this is what I call is a "HINT". In the wolf and the lamb story all these pearls of wisdom will be used by Khushi where Arnav will WITNESS how Khushi tolerated the grill and torture by Shyam just so that Arnav can be rescued and the "AR property" can be safe. This is where the "Tea" which Naani declined comes into picture and how Arnav will WITNESS his true "Khushi in the Terrace Confrontation". Yes, Arnav will "Witness" and that was proved today.

Another HINT for Arnav's witness was the dialogue by Shyam that I mentioned above. Arnav will now witness this "ANGRY LOOK" of Khushi to Shyam and this time the "Chaap", the horrifying picture that was printed in his mind will be erased and replaced by a new and good one.

This is when Arnav will realize he always ignored the sight and the value of this "little drop of dew".

P.S.:- I didn't touch on numbers 11 and 4 today because you all know the significance of them and it was related to Arnav's disappearance which is still incomplete for Khushi to figure out and how God's creative work will help her in finding out. Until the number 3 comes, it will not be complete.

Heyy All,

The episode opened with Khushi trying to obliterate the memories of THAT one man who has seeped into every atom of her body , She engages in futile wiping of the memories all to no avail as the nameless emotions roar and rage through her veins .. A free bird who is captive to her Prince, who has the option of walking out but knows that walking out will not give her the answers she is seeking for the source lies with in her !! Anjali comes in and sees the agitated Khushi and tries her best to assuage Khushi's anxiety and stress ...

Khushi is getting restless and pretty soon she is going to go berserk , I mean she is going to go on a Impulsive mission which cannot be stopped by any family members , the buildup is shown well and pretty convincingly ..The Door has been opened by Anjali; the feelings or that Naadani which had been fluttering restlessly within the hearts of Khushi has been finally acknowledged and given a name by Anjali ** I wish SI had given some other reaction apart from that mandatory wide eyed stare...A mild shock with a sense of awareness and a bit of confusion would have been fine**

Again the role of Anjali as a teacher, as a guide in the mine field of Love , As a witness who is seeing the unsettled , on the edge Khushi who is missing Arnav, vital for Anjali to remember this scenes when Finger will raise against Khushi..As a elder who has acknowledged that not only is Khushi the DIL of Raizada but also the perfect consort of Arnav Singh Raizada , The gem vital to be enshrined on the crown named Arnav !!..The Pearl that will illuminate the path for Arnav and dispel the darkness clogging his heart.

Strike while the Iron is hot ! off late we are getting many signs that the momentum is building .>So we get one more to the pile ...The Iron has begun to heat, the Moment of truth is nearing and the wrinkles will soon be wiggled out

IRON !! The symbol of male power , The warder of bad luck... Remember Maami's dialogue, The sleeping Iron has stood upright !!.. ..Iron is considered to be the core, the foundation ...But There is another thing attributed to Iron from the biblical times ...IRON has been associated with TRUTH !! when Maami said that the sleeping iron has stood up, it was quite clear that the truth shall no longer stay buried ..Where Truth is , there will lie real strength ..And the Iron shall come from forth and throw the imposter from his throne..

I said Truth, did not I ?? Yes, Iron is associated with Truth, Rational Truth and who is the rational member here ...Could it be Arnav, Is it time for Arnav to to rise up and against Shyam , Arnav has been having his hands tied bec of Anjali but will he now shake off that shackles cos Shyam will make it imperative to do so ...

There is another property to Iron, Iron repulses evil, bad and anything unfortunate .. Shyam's menace which has been unleashed and is getting a unrestrained free reign will be curtailed when the Male power which is sleeping awakens and stops the marauding evil in its tracks..

Will Mama be the inadvertent whistle blower , the absent mindedness , the inclination towards solving Mysteries, the delight in snooping around does imply that he may provide the clinching proof to the member who will be most affected by it ...

What I loved during the Bubbli scene was the Iron continued to stay in the frame and stayed upright throughout !!

Night time, Khushi is fast asleep when something awakens her, She jerks up in frenzy, Her racing heart further beginning to gallop when she sees the silhouette of Arnav on the recliner , delighted she switches on the light and the image of Arnav disappears leaving her alone, distressed ..

The growing feelings of Khushi is beginning to shape itself , The emotions are resolving itself and ascribing it to Arnav... Khushi has begun to feel the pulse of this burgeoning feeling , She has understood that this sensations are caused due to Arnav but the knowledge is unable to withstand the light of truth , Vanishes when illuminated cux Khushi is under the impression that her instincts , her feelings are not reciprocated , cos she still is teetering on the edge , it is when she embraces the whole truth , will her ardour face the truth fairly and squarely and win over the mistrust !!

It is Time for shower, Shyam is getting ready to make the will official and to begin his second round of play, this time the mission of owning Khushi, He begins his play by remarking that the the water supply is being erratic ,the loyal and worried wife Anjali immediately begins to think of ways of making her husbands life easier.. She brings up many names and Shyam finally lights upon Arnav's and decides to go to Arnav's room to have his bath...

The Pattern, The Pattern begins again ...In my previous Redux, I had said that Shyam's objective of getting Khushi came unstuck and the beginning of that end begun in temple in the presence of God , Anjali and bauji ...what happened after that, Shyam realizes that Bauji knows his truth, he strikes and in the ensuing confusion, sorrow when the mind does not work, he manages to instill a seed into Buaji's mind...The seed being that perhaps Bauji wanted Shyam and Khushi's wedding !!...An opportunist to the core !!

Today we witness the same pattern, The will is in his kitty [ acc to him] His mission to acquire Khushi can now continue and he begins his game by saying that the water is not coming and one brother will be busy with his own morning rituals, Naturally Anjali will think of the other brother whose bedroom is vacant ...Shyam after gently guiding Anjali on this path, seizes on his opportunity when Anjali utters the name for which he was waiting for ..he sowed the seed of taking bath in another bathroom in Anjali's head, directed her thinking the way he wanted it and grabbed the opportunity when it presented itself but Shyam has not learned from history , has he ... Just when he thought he achieved his objective he was brought down by his own glib tongue and History will repeat again !!

Another way of looking at it is Shyam's growing hunger for power, authority ... He is a man who always loved power, authority, to rule over others ... Arnav was and is the King, Shyam coveted that position and longed for it...we saw him indulging in his craving when he sat on the seat where Arnav sits in his office... and today we see him stalking towards Arnav's fiefdom, trying to stamp his own authority on Arnav's . kingdom ..
.but this Back door entry will not be allowed to flourish...A rat may think itself the king when the Cat has gone about on its wanderings but when the cat returns, the rat hides in its hole, that is the law of Nature !!

Khushi gets the cup of Tea to Nani who is busy stitching together a cushion, Nani says that she already has drunk Tea ..Khushi picks it up and leaves , her path crossing Anjali's who is frantically calling out to Hari Prakash !!

TEA !! What constitutes a Tea ...water - Life giver , Milk - Purifier & Strengthener , Tea - rejuvenator and cleanser ...Khushi brings forth Tea to Nani but Nani tells her she has already had it ..Nani has already witnessed the strengthening, purifying act of Khushi and she does not need another round of testimony supporting Khushi...One way...Another way... is Khushi will be the medium who will provide the life , the strength by cleansing and Purifying the house of Raizada's and she will have the sanction of Nani who knows the merit of Khushi's actions... Nani will be the one who will be holding together all the relationships and will be the seamstress who will provide the requisite stitch in time , prudently preventing the tearing away of relationships & Keeping the flock together...

Again the TEA can be taken as the 2 couples... Arnav-Khushi, Shyam-Anjali ...Milk-Sugar , Water-tea Leaves !!..but am rather tired to explore this facet..readers are welcome to traipse along this path !! 😊

Another Noteworthy moment, Anjali already beginning to repair the leak n stop the rot by calling in HP , The right man who was always in the right place at wrong times [ for Shyam] and will be one of the handle that will pull Shyam down !!..

Shyam awaits the arrival of Khushi in Arnav's bedroom, Khushi walks into her room and is stunned to see a semi naked Shyam in her room..Shyam taking advantage of Arnav makes several moves , Khushi restrains herself, merely telling him to leave her room...

Enter My Parlour says the spider to the fly !! ..I was quite reminded of this when I saw Shyam waiting for Khushi until I remembered that the Parlor was Khushi's and Shyam could very well end up as the foolish fly in his over weening confidence !!

Loved the opening line of the scene itself, 'Suprabhat "..Good Morning... Yes... Now the morning that is going to come into Khushi's life will be Good and Shyam will usher in this Good Morning into her life ...

I really had an outlandish thought when I saw Shyam , naked without his tee and not even a vest in Khushi's bedroom ...I was reminded of Karna from Mahabharata !! To say I was quite startled by this thought is saying it very mildly , Piqued by this thought, I begun to ponder why my mind conjured up the image of Karna ..when a hazy idea begun to emerge ,,,Karna, the chariot man's son who rose above his station due to his friendship with Duryodhan , Karna who in his ambition to be the best student , kept quiet while a wasp was goring into his thigh and invited the curse of Parashurama , Karna who in his zeal to be the best archer kills a cow, the only source of livelihood and earns another curse of forgetfulness from the Cows owner ...

So here we have Shyam without his Kavach and Kundal [Anjali] , A man from humble origin who was raised to higher status bec of Arnav's wealth .. A planner who in his obsession was willing to go any lengths to secure the his goal only for Buaji to awaken and curse him !! A person who has maimed Bauji , who will derail his life at a crucial juncture by ripping out the wheels of falsehood and not allowing Shyam to replace it ..Karna was killed bec of his own action of giving away his Kavach & Kundal, Shyam will be brought down by his own admission, his ever ready tongue and his gloating arrogance bringing him down ...

The eyes will speak the truth
, on the terrace confrontation, Arnav's eyes had imprinted the hug, he had never seen Khushi's face, her eyes ..he had only seen her body laying quiescent but today Shyam has given the clue that Arnav will be a witness again and this time Arnav will see the fury, loathing in Khushi's eyes ..he will see 'THE LOOK ' that is reserved for Shyam alone, that one look effacing the imprinted hug !!

Apologies for reserving on first page, I have no analysis to add...
I wanted to ask Dood's something...😳

In one of your analysis last week, u mentioned peeps msging you to not compare things from the show with scriptures n so on etc. Pple asking you to quit???

Y is it that you prefer to favor a minorities complaint 😡against a majorities love & enthusiasm in your writing??? 😭😭
😭
I have stopped watching IPK😆, a while back, mostly after the wedding. Yet, I always read Tanth's analysis rather to keep on track if an epi is worth catching or the show is worth getting back to.

And through your post I understand the plots, tracks, loops, metaphors & everything else you so patiently describe, explain, draw connection to, as well as our attention... which for the life of me i cannot fathom even if I'm sat with a magnifying glass glued to the screen...😆😆😆...

Please don't allow those few people to influence, what so many others wait eagerly for as soon as the epi has aired... (It reminded me of that member on fb who started a thread against eagle eye... who in reality was doing the same thing she was criticizing u for 🤢😆😆).

IP Redux Core is Tanths n Doods... n I hope as long as I maintain the tiniest bit of interest in this show, I will always get the added bonus of reading you both.

Thank You,

PS...To all the other lovely Reduxians and their wonderful analysis... I read u to, but I feel my praise will fall short in comparison to the beautiful pieces you share with us everyday...hence my gratitude comes in the form of a huge 😃 that sits on my face, throughout it.

PPS. To the few wonderful members n mummies I met n chatted to a few times, a big Hello n 🤗.

PPP.S This may sound a bit unusual, I wrote it at 1am, one hand typing, other hand feeding baby😛😆

Hola people! 🤗

I see lot many people missed me yesterday! :) Yahin hoon kahin nahi jaa rahi - atleast not for 4 months. Anyways before I start jabbering away, let me post my part of the analysis.

Kuch rishte ajeeb hi dor mein bandhe hote hain
Takrar se shuru hote hain, nafrat ke saaye mein panapte hain
Girte hain, padte hain, par kaayam rahte hain
Nafrat badhti jaati hai aur rishte ki gaanth aur gehri hoti jaati hai
Itni ki ek din nafrat bhi aur badhne se sharma jati hai
aur woh rishta sirf ek bandhan ban ke rah jaata hai
Lekin sirf nafrat waala!!!
Kabhi kabhi aisa lagta hai jaise nafrat ke us maahoul mein kuchh to hai
Jo humse kehta hai ki is ansune, anjaane se, ankahee se ehsaas ko ek mauka toh do
Par jis rishte ki neenv hi nafrat pe rakhi gayi ho, usse kuch bhi ummeed lagana
Naadani nahi to aur kya hoga?

Aur shayad ye nadaani hum kar baithe hai
Warna kyun itni nafrat ke baawajood humein aapki yaad aa rahi hai?
Kyun hum aapse ladte hain, jhagadte hain
lekin aapke jaane ke baad aap hi ki raah dekhte hain
Hawaaon se aapki baatein karte hain?

The battle between the heart and mind - the battle between love and hate - the battle between right and wrong - The battle between good and bad - The battle between the shaitaan and the rajkumar and the final - and the battle between the "nafrat" and the "mohabbat" - is what Khushi's heart and mind is going through now. We know about Arnav's confusion, his reasons, his battles, his mind and his heart - but with Khushi it has been long since missing! Initially she had no confusion - because when she was horribly forced into this marriage - her hatred for Arnav Singh Raizada was at a level - that no dhak dhak and no acidity could be enough to make her realize that she had indeed fallen in love with him. She had no reasons - she had no beliefs - everything was shattered in her life and broken into million pieces as her heart could not fathom what she had done to deserve this.

But today - she has understood the reasons - its all clear as a picture in front of her - and that is why she can easily identify with the man who is the Beast and the man who is also the prince. The Beast hates her and the Prince loves her and that realization has begun to seep in. Yes, it will take time. Arnav Singh Raizada is not an easy man - he is difficult and if it were to easy to understand him - it would probably have been the easiest to fall in love with him as well. But it is not - and that is why at this moment Khushi's inner battle and inner turmoil rise and reflect on her relationship with the man who she wants to hate but cannot - wants to love but cannot - wants to understand but cannot.

Lets go to the initial promo for a moment ;

"Chah kar bhi main tumse door nahi reh pati
Shayad mera dil tumhe pukarta hai
Par inn aankhon mein nafrat dikhayi deti hai
kyunki mohabbat inme dard ban kar basti hai
kash main tumse nafrat kar pati
kash main tumse mohabbat kar pata"

Can I first say writers how much in awe I am in when I listen to the dialogues that you come up with!? ⭐️ I am a very emotional person and such dialogues with beautiful falshbacks and editings - make my nights! They are just fabulous and I cannot say anything more to this.👏

Coming to the highlight of yesterday's episode - Khushi's inner turmoil, inner feelings were reflected in the monolgues she had. Their story - the Arnav and Khushi story - is all about love - hatred is just a feeling that they "think" they feel for each other. There is a very thin line between love and hate - and that is why even being madly in love with each other, both of them confuse each other's and their own feelings with hatred. No - they cannot confess their love to each other and they will not till they are sure of each others actual feeling. They have loved and lost too much to go ahead to a confession. They fought, they argued, they insulted each other, they rebuked each other - and yet the bond that has developed admist all these emotions - the "bandhan" that has developed admist the "supposed" hatred is that of LOVE. They bicker, they fight - yet what they cannot run away is from the care, concern and love that they have for each other. They cannot escape the reality that they are meant to be together and whatever happens - destiny is going to shove them together.

What and Why did Arnav and Khushi fall in love even admist the hatred that they felt!? Arnav fell for the girl who stood tall against him - who could challenge him - who could make a place in his heart - no matter what - and who taught him how to live and how to love. He also fell for the girl who was in many ways similar to him - and who understood him more than anyone had.

Why did Khushi fall in love with Arnav!? He was a monster - yet she fell in love with him - the 'ankahee' and 'ansuni' feeling was always there which made her to see under the hard exteriors of Arnav Singh Raizada. She had experienced his hate - and then she experienced his love. She saw both and yet - even after being scared of him - she kept falling deeply in love with him.

Remember ;

"Kabhi inse itna dar lagta hai...aur kabhi inpe itna pyaar..."

The tryst between the shaitaan and rajkumar has played with Khushi and her feelings for long - she wants to fall for the prince and she has - but it is the devil who stops her and scares her. She wants to come to terms with her feelings but she cannot because she is scared that the "bandhan" that has been formed is formed on the basis of lies and distrust. What she thinks is "nafrat" today - she does not know and see the "mohabbat" hidden in it. She thinks he hates her - but like the promo - she cannot see the "love" hidden in all his acts. The day she realizes that behind all the "nafrat" it was the "love" and the feeling of betrayal in love that was hidden - she will save Arnav from his self - imposed guilt and regret. Like I say - she will be the light in his darkeness.

"Pata nahi hume kya hogaya hai"

"Aapko pata hai aap ko chotte ki itni firk kyun ho rahi hai - kyunki aap chotte se bahut pyaar karti hai... Aur ye khabrane wali baat nahi... Yeh toh Khushi hone wali baat hai..."

This is where her confusion lies and Anjali gave it the name of "love" today. She has seen Khushi's anguish and pain in which she has seen that how much Khushi misses Arnav - how much she is concerned and that is why when Khushi is unable to understand why she is lost - why she is unable to understand what is wrong, it is Anjali who tells her what she actually feels. That is why whenever time comes - it will be Anjali who will be the guide and send Khushi to Arnav. She will guide Khushi to her love to Arnav. Anjali is always the one who tries her best to bridge the gap between Arnav and Khushi - and that is because she has been a witness to both their love and pain and hurt. She does not know what is wrong but she does understand both of them to a certain and limit. That is why she will play the cupid and make Khushi go to Arnav. And who will support her in this - Nani. It will be Nani who will support Anjali and give her the strength to send Khushi to Arnav for Anjali will need that realization to seep in when time comes.

Is Khushi scared of her feelings!? Most definitely she is! She is scared of the man she has fallen in love with for she finds it difficult to understand his true nature. She is aware of both - the prince in him as well as the devil - one that makes her want to love and one that makes her want to withdraw. Now how can she be happy about her feelings when she does not know who she is actually in love with!? How can she be happy with the realization of love when she is unsure of his feelings!? How can she be happy when she does not know whether the 'nadaani' she has commited is even worth it all or not!? She cannot - and the day she realizes about his love for her - she will be happy about her love for him as well. That day she will stop being scared of him - and she will accept both the prince as well as the devil with both hands.

Shyam

Abhaas take a bow! 👏U creep me so badly when I see you on screen, that I cannot even say. Yesterday he tried to prove to Khushi - how much she means to him - and today he went a step ahead and tried to invade her private space. Lust - definitely! The way he looks at her - the way he behaves around her - he is proving out to be exactly who he is. He will have to make choice between Khushi and money one day - and that day what will he choose!? Himself (for money is him) and Khushi - he will choose Himself. And then he will not even think of harming Khushi for it - and hence put her in danger. That will be the time when Arnav will save her and bring her back.

Bubbly - all she needed was the right person to guide her - and yes however much evil she got - the guilt bothered the little girl. She has been alone - she had lost her parents at a very young age and Akash meant everything to her. Seeing Payal as the one coming in between her and Akash - scared her enough to resort to desperate measures. Today with interference from Mami - she saw how wrong she was. Payal accepted her with open hands - giving her the peace that she and Akash both are always going to be there for her.

I don't know if Bubbly's stay is gonna be increased but if it does - then it will be Bubbly who can really be helpful in bridging the gap between Akash and Payal. But even if she does not stay - Mami will be the one who will act as the peace maker between the two. Akash will not give Payal any chance to explain - he will feel betrayed - but it will be Mami who will understand Payal's intentions and her reasonings for keeping the truth hidden just like she did understand her today and during the fancy dress competition. And not to forget , Nani and Anjali may lend their supporting hand to this couple as well.

Pointers

How long is this Kidnapping track gonna be stretched!? Its becoming a drag if nothing else. After a point of time people will start losing interest. It is not about Barun or Arnav - its about the fact that how much can you stretch it beyond one point.

Sanaya, Abhaas and Daljeet are doing a fab job keeping the show running but the track needs to move before people start giving up.

And can we please not have Abhaas strip!? I did get the reason on why he did strip but frankly I am not much into men stripping and without reason! Barun had also become tooo much and now Abhaas! 😡

All in a good episode. Really loved the way Bubbly ran to Payal and hugged her - accepting her mistakes. It was a nice change to see the manipulative girl redeeming herself.

Love all :)

P.S : Thanks all for the best wishes! Gonna need them in abundance! ;)) Lots of love to all! Hugzzz!! 🤗🤗

Saturday Sunday not gonna be here - C you all on Monday! 😛 🤗🤗

"The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all."
--Walt Disney

The invisible fence..

The invisible fence the owners put around their yards to protect their pets.. seeing Khushi it reminded of that fence. Arnav was her invisible fence .Shyam or no one dared to mess with Khushi because there was this fence around her. She was safe in her room.Shyam didn't dare to come near her when Arnav was around. Now the hell has broken lose. Shyam has got power. The power of money. So very well his next target is Khushi and world will be at his feet. He knows Khushi's background very well. He knows her capabilities and limitations. Now is his time to act. Arnav's absence is his power. He is an opportunist to core.He will use it no doubt. Khushi will have a solid reality check. Wake up time for her. Quite a few lessons to be learnt. All for good. Each such encounter she will learn something. After all experience counts. Her cocooned world of goody two shoes is slowly breaking.

Shyam the drunken monkey.. it is definitely your time.. All your stars seem to have aligned in the best possible way. So time is on your side now. Show us all your tricks. We will watch it with wide eyed open(sometimes shut also.. Shirtless Shyam hell no).. When the master of the manor finally arrives..we will have a gala time. After all the CVs do follow the rule of maximum impact.

Side Note:

Even though mamiji is slightly cantankerous, she got to the bottom of the problem and rectified it for Payal. It was really a good move on CVs part. Mostly her inferiority complex speaks, she she has a good heart.

NOTE: Dear Sushi club members, this is just me exploring Shyam's current character traits. It is not my intention to malign him in any way, so please avoid throwing pitchforks at me 😛

==================================================================

Shyam suffers from quite a huge inferiority complex that exhibits itself as a superior attitude. Confused? Read on...

To quote:

Inferiority Complex is a term used to describe people who compensate for feelings of inferiority (feeling like they're less than other people, not as good as others, worthless, etc.) by acting ways that make them appear superior. They do this because controlling others may help them feel less personally inadequate.

All his actions, thinking, and daring tactics point toward this. He exhibits confidence (over-confidence that too), he calculates Khushi's moves since he knows her from before, he manipulates situations to his convenience, he is overly-courageous when he knows he has the upper-hand, smooth-talks his way through tricky situations, is a persistent people pleaser and is double-faced.

His above actions stem from the inferiority complex to feel superior to his recent status. He was happily living off the monthly amount deposited in his and Anjali's joint account all these years. Suddenly, he is cut off from this amount. This amount that gave him a social standing, a sense of worth, and a feeling of power was snatched away without any warning. It was nothing short of rape for this man (mods, it's just an expression).

Yes, he is obsessive about Khushi, but we shall dwell on that matter later on. Money was in his life way before Khushi came in. Money is what gives him a sense of control, power, and worth. That is why, being more accustomed to the ready wealth he will always value money more than Khushi.

As we are unaware of Shyam's childhood background, nothing conclusive can be really drawn towards substantiating the inferiority complex thought. However, we can surmise this much based on the recent events in his life. For a lawyer, he is pretty inactive and prone to roaming the lanes of Chandni Chowk! We haven't seen him actually at work, we haven't seen him talk about work, except about meeting this and that client - which were said more as a cover for his devious plans.

That leaves us with what we do know - that he depends on the amount ASR deposits in their account every month, that he does earn some bit of money, that he is now bankrupt, and has to now depend solely on Anjali for his expenses. (I wish the CV's would focus a bit more on this aspect - for how long will he keep taking money from Anjlai?)

Shyam's self-esteem got the first dent when ASR stopped money into the Shyam-Anjali joint account, it took a further beating when Shyam had to face the sniggers of the bank officials when Anjali covered up for the lapse in his credit. Between these two incidents was the appearance of the file that aroused Shyam's interest. According to Shyam, this file then would bring back his lost status and power. So, he set about trying to lay his hands on it - he found the Will entrusted to Anjali in the event of ASR's death, changed it to his name, and got Khushi to get ASR's signature on it.

That file however is not the main thing here. The action behind getting the file, changing it to his name and getting ASR's signature on it is the main element of interest. It was all done out of sheer fright of being a loser in the world. Shyam, like ASR, believes in the value of money in this world. It's a different thing that ASR actually 'works' toward it, while Shyam loiters around (from what the CV's have showed us).

Now, Shyam equated his self-value with the value of wealth in his life. The moment the wealth was wiped away, his own value too was stripped away. His self-esteem was cut sharply, which instigated him to get his hands on the file - his path to wealth - his own personal goal to reclaim his self-esteem and worth. The moment he got his way - the will papers signed in his name, he felt pieces of his value return.

His actions on Friday are a display of his superiority complex, a compensation technique, to his inferiority complex so far. To quote:

The fictional goal is, in many ways, a device of the individual to pull himself up by his bootstraps, as it were. It is a compensatory defense: it creates positive feelings in the present which mitigate the feelings of inferiority.

As a further compensation, we may also develop a superiority complex, which involves covering up our inferiority by pretending to be superior. If we feel small, one way to feel big is to make everyone else feel even smaller! Bullies, big-heads, and petty dictators everywhere are the prime example. More subtle examples are the people who are given to attention-getting dramatics, the ones who feel powerful when they commit crimes, and the ones who put others down for their gender, race, ethnic origins, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, weight, height, etc. Some resort to hiding their feelings of worthlessness in the delusions of power afforded by alcohol and drugs.

The fictional goal in Shyam's case was the 'signed will'. The signed will was a compensatory defence on Shyam's part to increase his feeling of self-esteem. It was a way of promoting a sense of power in his life.

Shyam's inappropriate behaviour with Khushi on Friday was a manifestation of this very superiority complex that originated from his inferiority complex!
Shyam, now has the will, his 'fictional goal' to power, his path to wealth, his road to status. He was left feeling worthless, but now, worth is in his hands. Now, this power of wealth was one of the most important things in his life. The other one, was Khushi.

Put yourself in his place. You've got the first 'want' of your life in your hands. Who else to boast about it to, than your second most important want? Okay, he didn't really 'boast' about it, but his moves clearly showed that this regained power could be exerted onto his next 'fictional goal'.

This 'power' that he is flaunting stems from the belief that now that he has acquired his first goal, he can acquire the second one as well. However in the second case, i.e, Khushi's case, Shyam's sense of power leans slightly toward aggression. No, not in the violent, anger sense, but in the deviant and deluded sense.

Shyam is deluded that Khushi loves him. I'm still not sure if he loves or lusts after her, but I do know that he is obsessive about her, and that is why I said that it is out of aggression - it is the power to set after a goal relentlessly, and never giving up.

To quote:

Obsessive love
is a state in which one person feels an overwhelming obsessive desire to possess another person toward whom they feel a strong attraction, with an inability to accept failure or rejection. Obsessive lovers may feel entirely unable to prevent themselves from extreme behaviors such as stalking, rape, and other acts of violence toward themselves, their target, or others. They may be entirely convinced that their feelings are love, and may reject the idea that their severe obsession is not love.

Now please keep your sanity on, and refrain from going into hyper-hysteric mode. Shyam won't force himself on Khushi, though the rate at which he's going I wouldn't be surprised, but this is not an over-dramatic show, so be assured that a horrible incident like that will not take place. Now, calm down, breathe in... breathe out... theek ho? Toh chalo, let's move on...

There are four stages to obsessive love - Attraction Phase, Anxious Phase, Obsessive Phase and Destructive Phase. Shyam is still in the first phase (Attraction Phase) that consists of:

  • An instant attraction to romantic interest, usually occurring within the first few minutes of meeting.
  • An immediate urge to rush into a relationship regardless of compatibility.
  • Becoming "hooked on the look" of another, focusing on the person's physical characteristics while ignoring personality differences.
  • Unrealistic fantasies about a relationship with a love interest, assigning unrealistic qualities to an object of affection.
  • The beginnings of obsessive, controlling behaviors begin to manifest.

The other phases are too progressive for Shyam right now. The above points fit Shyam's obsessiveness quite well, don't you think?

The conquering of the signed will has now led Shyam to believe that he can exercise this power over Khushi too. Emboldened, proud and outrageously elated with the fact that things have gone his way have propelled Shyam to further unmask his true nature in front of Khushi. His recent win has made him slip-up. over-confidence and pride is going to his head, and it won't be long before his pride speaks out and becomes his downfall.

"Waise kami bhi kaisi Khushiji? Woh ho ya naa ho, na aap ko farq padta hai, na hi aapke shaadi shuda zindagi mein koi gehra badlaav aa sakta hain."

"Waise aap Arnavji ko in nazaron se kahan dekhti hongi, iss tarah se aap sirf humein dekhti hai."

Haaahaaa, how I laughed at these lines... evil waala laugh 😆 He has khodod (dug) his own grave! "apne pair par kulhadi dekh ke maarta hoon" - haahaa, is this the way you maaro kulhaadi on your feet, woh bhi, dekh ke Shyam? 😛

Submerged in his happy, blissful state of being one-up on ASR and Khushi, he is dunked in a bowlful of 'gloat' and has over-looked the basic fact of Khushi-Arnav's relationship. They may spar, they may argue, they may give each other a tough time, but when it comes to defending each other they will sacrifice themselves for the other.

Khushi's statement, "Arnavji ka naam aapke gandi zubaan se mat lena" reminded me of ASR telling Shyam "Mere Di ke naam apni gandi zubaan se mat lena."

That statement of Khushi's should have been enough for Shyam to realize that Khushi won't be his. But poor soul, wanted to celebrate his success so nazar-andaazed that fact.

Waiting to see how much more will Shyam slip up with this intoxicated state of power that he is in now!

==================================================================

Would have loved to touch upon Khushi-Anjali, Khushi-Naaniji, Bubbly-Maami-MM-Payal, but the others have done it quite well, so enjoy reading theirs. Plus, was waiting for a chance to delve into Shyam's character - and Friday's episode gave me a chance to go into a part of his character, couldn't resist that!

SPECIAL NOTE @DB: I understood the meaning of the poem, but could connect it only with Arnav, didn't think of Shyam. And, I couldn't fathom what the title meant, until you explained it of course 😆

Shyam's dialogue about the 'shower' and 'water' - I knew that it had some significance behind it, but couldn't attach it to 'flow of money', though after you explained it I felt like "How did I miss that!!" 😕

Also, teacher, teacher DB - thank you so much, if it weren't for your Fables, and stories I wouldn't have connected Naaniji to 'The Elves and the Shoemaker'! You ees a good teacher, I was running the 'stitching' scene through my head and then remembered the fable 😃 Thank you!! Please don't stop writing, see, we are learning na slowly, slowly! We're trying our best to apply your lessons, please keep teaching us! *makes big big, round round pleading puppy dog eyes...

Love,

Nia 😊
