Right back...
Read over the posts, realised my brain was in overload drive, so I went back to read it again 😆
Yep, clearly I don't do logic!
Tanthya & Nia - Loved your point of analysis for this episode. There was a much laid emphasis on Shyam's role, and rightly so! I have to say, the CVs were right to make him so bold and daring (lol if only to read the reactions of the other numpties on the forum! 😆) Sorry, had to be blunt about it. Too many people labelling the last scene as obscene and grotesque - but I believe that was the point! 😉
Anyway, I'm glad they gave Shyam that platform to display his feigned ignorance and his delusional state of power. It really gave our evil villain the chance to shine and in doing so, determine his own bloody fate! And, hopefully, it's also starting to drill into Khushi's head just how much of a dangerous player he is - something tells me there's still much to unveil about his character! Can't wait to see how low he will stoop, especially in front of Khushi. Really important if she's to win this battle.
So true! 👍🏼
Nia - Loved your reference to the various stages of Shyam's love/lust for Khushi. I'm more inclined towards the latter. His lust for power now stands equal to his lust for Khushi, perhaps even more so now that Arnav is absent from the scene. And that was a great analogy you gave in light of this - the cat and mouse chase. I really loved the scene when Shyam dominated over Arnav's room - the reflection of himself in the mirror stood as a stark contrast to the power and authority that is held by Arnav. Whereas the temporary status of power which shyam gloats about is in danger of shattering at any time. Love it. Really reminded me of the scene in Harry Potter, when he stands in front of the mirror of erised!
Kudos and much love to you guys!
