The dilemma brought effortlessly on screen by Barun. The king of expression at his best.⭐️

Why re why?? the dimag wala businessman fails to contemplate that his wife's everyday actions are in conflict with what his thoughts make her out to be?

If he were Mr. Arnavprasad working in RTO, I would not have been so bothered with him connecting the dots. After all the harried common man can forget an MU while dealing with the tough" sadharan si zindagi"

Is it possible for a self made, smart, suave, ruthless, shrewd judge of character(refer inumerable dialogues mouthed by ASR himself) and a business tycoon to do the same about a girl whom he is truly madly deeply in love with?

👎🏼 A flimsy issue to flare up the demons- tag on a wrapping paper!!!😡 It could have been a receipt with his name or a book which had his name written...more plausible instances please...

I know lot of people recycle wrapping paper... but tags kept for recycling??? lower middle class phamilies are worldly wise right??... as Khushi mentioned a few episodes back... or was it another meaningless gem (refer sundari and shaitan monologue) to be forgotten as per convenience.

The preetika episode... another reel meets reality session. I applaud the cv's for touching on this issue 👏 A sad truth prevailing in urban and rural India even today. The over dramatics is easily attributed to creative licence. See I ain't hard to please.😆

The last segment and precap:

The dependable damamd of madhumatiji comes to the rescue once again... his beautiful wife will stand a testament to it. Arnavji will make her heart go a lil' soft again.😳 Potential rabba veys... my hopes are high...

The opening of Pandora's box indeed! A very apt title! 😆

As always, Barun nailed it for me this episode, as did Sanaya - albeit a lot more subtle with the emotions. Expressions of pain, anguish and strong resentment returned today, and it was about time. I was waiting for this side of Arnav to re-emerge, as only then can the bitter truth be revealed.

His expressions took me back to the episode when the misunderstanding first started, that fleeting look of uncontrollable anger, sudden rage, revengeful determination; and then that final moment of helplessness. But there was an extra layer to his expressions this episode, something which wasn't there in the earlier episodes, nor at the start of the MU. He was literally drowning in a whirlpool of emotions, torn between his hatred for Khushi and his love for her family. There was also expressions of momentary guilt and regret; this moment of realisation was executed brilliantly and seems promising for future episodes!

And I loved the turning of tables with regards to social status/class and levels of respect. That expression of disgust he has on his face when the woman started berating the family's efforts in preparing for the wedding, clamping down on their pride and dignity. It was quite a dramatic scene, but one which I loved, if only for Arnav's instantaneous reaction. It was almost as if he was seeing a reflection of his former self - that same arrogance and conceit. And there was that split second in which he showed how disgusted he was with himself - wonderful acting.

I sat down to re-watch some of the earlier episodes, and I was shocked to see how far Arnav had come!! His character has grown tremendously and so consistently!! Truly impressed with the character development!

Cannot wait for everyone's input - it's going to be an absolute pleasure to read!

Sea.nymph - Beautiful analysis! Loved the link to Shakespeare's sonnet! Funnily enough, whilst re-watching the first episode of IPKKND, I couldn't help but think how similar it was to a Shakespeare stage play (yeh I know what you're thinking!), where the main events of the entire story is unfolded through significant characters and purposeful dialogue. The dialogue in the initial episode was so layered, that it helped me to make sense of the current track.
