Whenever he realized he did mistake he redeemed it. He will do it again when MU clears. He never masked it when he felt the guilt that he did wrong. Even though he is not in good terms with Khushi when he shouted about her parents..he went ahead and said sorry to her. When he came to know he is the reason behind payal's broken marriage again he went to Payal and said sorry and made amendments. Now also he gives respect to the in-laws though marriage is not real. Why shld he care right... it's jst a contract marriage?? But he did...his character has evolved more from the beginning of the show..he has mellowed down. But unfortunately I am not seeing that KKG side...though not as grave as ASR she too did mistakes. But CVs never showed that from her side and I want to see that...unfortunately I have no hopes on the same from CVs

At bold - that's the beauty of his character.

Hopefully after today, we will see some retrospection from KKG.

He is cold, ruthless, self-centered at times and we define him as grey. But he is caring, concerned, and respectful not only towards his di but also to middle class in-laws to whom he is bound by just a contract.

He has made grave mistakes, a lot of them. He is outwardly snobbish he and speaks of class and social status.

He inflicts pain but he also feels pain of loss, hurt and suffering.

Does he really need to be redeemed? Doesn't he already have enough qualities that redeem him?

If none of us are perfect, then we all are flawed and grey. Then why is ASR defined as an anti-hero or a grey character who will eventually be redeemed?

PS : this is not a comparison post. It is something that just struck me.

I don't have the time to go through the entire forum so I am just responding to your original message. I see where your coming from and I agree Arnav is portrayed as a human who has suffered great loss in life. However, he in turn has caused a lot of pain to not just khushi but also others around him. One's loss and pain does not justify pain and hurt onto others by that person. As people have mention before in Khushi's case 2 wrongs don't make a right. Just because he has suffered does not mean he gets to hurts others as well. However, that is human nature, most people when in pain project it onto other things, we may break something lash out at someone else. But we are also expected to ask forgiveness to that person and since Arnav is just like any other human he needs to apologize and earn back Khushi's trust just as anyone of would have to in real life when we hurt someone. Even the greatest of all people need to apologize when they have hurt someone so why not Arnav. Simply because he has suffered in life, most people have suffered through loss at some point in their lives does not mean they lose their humanity. Just as Khushi had apologized to him when she hurt him previously in the show when the "heroine" can do it than so can the "hero". I hope that makes sense.

Fari. i don't know how i missed this babe...🤗sorry for being so late..

BISSTASTIC post i must say😉..

He is a good human being Fari..yes, he is the man behind the iron mask..nobody is born that way..he has his scars and wound and the problem is that he doesn't open up and he never shows it..

He equally has been a victim of all this misunderstanding ..not just Khushi..for god's sakes he love her and was bout to confess...

I am loving every scene at the GH..his actions and his attitude towards Garima and Buaji is not any less than a redemption..i seriously don't know why he needs to redeem himself Fari...but looks like th majority want him to..

You know what ...let him redeem...and let the world see how well he does it...it will blow away everyone'd mind..

lovely post fari😳
