Hello All,

Today's episode had the whiff of old world IP did not it ?? There was grace, humor, dignity and the underlying sadness mixed with optimism !!

The episode opened with the right note, Arnav is busy working on his lap top when Buaji and Garima poke their heads in quite hesitantly , like two lambs about to enter a discontented Lion's den, Arnav hears the rustle , becomes aware of their presence ..The women scamper backwards in trepidation ..Arnav calls them and he is duly informed few visitors have come to see him, Assuming that they came in response to his call, Arnav walks calmly and in great composure to meet his fate !!

This was such a beautiful illustration of the two worlds of Arnav and Khushi..The contrast between the two muh dikhayis could not be any different .. There was a day, when Khushi was put on exhibition for her to be approved, accepted by the society in which Arnav inhabited .. Khushi was loudly questioned, snide remarks passed on the sly, quiet openly humiliated ..She was an object that was scrutinized, & glorified ...Meaningless words exchanged socially ..and today it is Arnav's turn, he walks in unaware of the predicament that he is going to get into ..It is now Arnav's turn to be on display .. He submits to this transgression quite meekly ..but oh the contrast in the guests ..If Arnav's guests wanted to show off their pedigree, Khushi's guest genuinely wish to know about Arnav...They may not be presenting him with platinum, Gold but they gift him something even more precious & rare , The blessings that come from their heart, Truer feelings uncorrupted by envy, pride is showered on him, enclosing him within their charm protecting him from the evil eyes !!

Barun was superb here, The way Arnav looked askance at Khushi for his cues..His bristling indignation when he is considered to be a 10vs pass , The winds taken out of his sails when he is compared to some petty shopper , The look of alarm when the Nani comes towards him and his grudging admiration when Khushi explains the meaning of 'whutevurrr' .. no less was Buaji as the proud mother hen royally kicked about the plaudits her Son In law was getting from her friends..the look of annoyance when HER Son in Law is compared to some shop keeper ..

The ladies leave the house but not before comparing him to Krishna and Buaji affirming that yes Arnav is indeed their Nandkishore ..Again the formation, how I love the formation .. Notice the positions when Buaji notifies the ladies that Arnav is indeed their NandKishore, their Parth...The ladies will be behind him, Khushi to his side but slightly behind him..Arnav like the charioteer Parth advancing ahead ...

The Parting shot ; Taayiji asks Arnav whether he will keep Khushi happy, Arnav sarcastically mumbles ' Whatever '..The Sharp eared Taayiji picks up on it and seeks clarification and I must say Sanaya did this wonderfully..the smile dips but is firmly put on the face again as she explains firmly that yes, her husband just said that he will keep her happy for eternity ..Arnav listens quietly.. Then comes the googly that neither were expecting, They are blessed by that ripe woman to always stay together not for this lifetime but for eternity ..The artificial smile that was plastered on is wiped off , the beaming smile vanishes as the blessing hist home , hurting her wounded heart..Arnav who is aware of the stipulation , looks at her..both exchanging a glance filled with sadness, questions but unfortunately both are unable to decode the other's questioning eyes and they continue on their way uninformed of the love residing in their heart ..but they cannot help themselves, they pause, look back hoping to see that elusive emotion..hoping to be stopped !!

Arnav's lessons continues.. A heartless man who till now had never given a thought to the quagmire he will be sending Khushi too..now he is getting a first hand experience of the inquisitive neighbors, who will dare question openly when Khushi returns after serving her time in Raizada Mansion ..He has not processed this but he will understand later.

Anjali and Babli are having a chat on babies with Anjali getting quite excited about her child ..Doorbell rings .>Akshay comes in holding a gift pack, Babli gets excited thinking that the gift is for her ..She runs to her room to get her surprise gift, descends and sees that the gift is being given to Payal commemorating their 1 month anniv ..

Again the contrasts .. A expectant mother who is so immersed in her own world , dreaming about the tiny pattering feet , she fails to acknowledge the situation of a motherless child ..One who has forgotten her mother's face but not the yearning for her mother's love..The child is seeking a loving heart that she can call it as her own but has not found it yet !!

So 1 month celebration is happening ,Is it ??..I just could not help noticing the striking similarities between the two couples...PAYASH.. Theirs is a love marriage based on love, respect, understanding..They live a life of harmony and when the time to celebrate comes, all they can do is exchange material gift to one another ..alone in that vast house ..Now cast a eye on another couple ..They had a bitterest marriage , their life is full of quarrels, arguments, caring, love and when they complete their period of one month..They find themselves in the bosom of the family, surrounded by well wishers & Relatives who gift them the biggest and priceless gift of all.. A blessing that comes from a loving heart !!

Akash has said that Payal will not leave ..which makes me sure that Payal is on her way out ..

Arnav's AC finally comes , to the chagrin of Gupta's who feel inept , that they are unable to provide the comforts to which he is used to ..Arnav signs the bill while the Gupta ladies stand crushed & mortified valiantly trying to hide their embarrassment..Khushi watches the discomfited Amma and Buaji is silence, her face wilting at the indirect insult meted out to her family by her husband ... Putting a brave face Buaji and Amma rally around and allow Arnav to do whatever makes him comfortable ...The two matrons leave, Khushi's silent 'Amma' holding all the apologies of her tiny world ..garima and Buaji are understanding ..while Arnav continues the installation of the AC..

One of the best sequence which brought the characteristics of Arnav Singh Raizada and also the changes that has occurred after his contact with Khushi .. Arnav is uncomfortable and in typical attitude he decides on the course to be taken to alleviate the discomfort , Being the quintessential Macho Man who makes his own decisions as in his own home, he does not consult nor seek permission from the Gupta's but goes ahead with his decision but we begin to see the first changes of Arnav Singh Raizada...the Man who cared two hoots for Buaji, the man who threw money on the table with a confident smirk, looking them in the eye and saying that he expects Khushi at his home for training La , the Man who always looked people in the eye even while being at his damnedest worst is now unable to look Buaji or Garima in the eye..His eyes keeps flitting away for conscience has pricked him saying that his behavior is condemnable and with his attitude he has hurt the loving hearts ...The Granite heart has finally begun to soften for others !!

Khushi is a girl who plunges headlong into adventure without taking things in cognizance ..Here her one point agenda was to bring Arnav to heel , divest him of his pride & ego..make him eat humble pie but in her single minded goal, she failed to factor in the effects it will have on her family ..Now she watches first hand as her family feels humiliated, inadequate .. A foreshadowing of things to come when she will have to watch the devastation wrought on both families thanks to her one ill judged decision ..realization hopefully will dawn then ..Yes, we know that Buaji & Garima will rally around her , did not Buaji say that the house is strong and will withstand heavy beatings ..yes.. The Gupta's are gearing up for a hammering but they have the innate belief in themselves and will weather it out united !!

We finally get a glimpse into Khushi's mind today as she recalls the contrasting first day of both of them in each other's house ...There she was thrown out unceremoniously, her feelings not respected ..Khuhsi was told her aukat and here today...Her family bends backwards to keep him happy, his happiness is their priority even at the cost of their own respect..Relationships and its upkeep is important to them and they defer their pride in front of it ..Arnav Has a lot of learning to do..

Why that emphasis on going alone !!..Y'day it was Khushi n today it is Arnav !!

Night comes and with it comes furious Khushi who is shocked to see her room changed ..incensed and angry at the callous way Arnav treated her parents, Khushi resolves to teach him a lesson !!

Khushi walks in and is flabbergasted to see Arnav's things strewn around ..Her anger grows as her mind thinks about the crest fallen face of her Mom and Buaji .. IN anger she pushes off arnav's things to the ground ..promising retribution...what caught my attention was the influence Arnav in her attitude..The Arnavification of Khushi stays put as she does what Arnav always did during his tantrums..Throw things on the ground !!This one act proves how deeply she cares for him ..for we ape the person whom we love, respect and admire...we do not tend to follow everyone but ape the one closest to our heart and Arnav is closest to her heart !!

The volatile Khushi calms down and picks up the littered Towels and arranges it carefully ...Three towels..Three lives.. Arnav_khushi, PAYASH, Anjali-Shyam..One act of hers will topple this 3 lives ..It will indeed topple but what was interesting to see is that it is Khushi herself who picks up the pieces and stacks it neatly once again bringing order into their existence !!..She will be the one who will set the house in order ..

Khushi claims to hate him, claims to dislike him , decides to teach him an unforgettable lesson but she simply cant see him suffering..Knowing that Arnav is allergic to Mosquito coil, she has got another gadget that will keep the mosquitoes at bay ...There is consideration, there is compassion, there is care and there is Love beneath that anger, Khushi has changed but the core remains intact !! ..if only Arnav looked long enough, he would know that he has got a rare diamond as his wife and if she paused long enough..she would know that she has got a husband in a million who would happily give up his life to see one small smile hovering on her lips !! ...Misunderstanding, Misunderstandings which has cloaked them , making their life a never ending night ..when will it lift ..when will a ray of sunshine beam through ??

What an apt title and what an apt song!! Loved the way you did the comparison between the two worlds and two mooh dikhais. Totally agree with you on the different blessings the two couples got. Very nicely said. So let me repeat my daily mantra,"Fantastic post as usual!!!"

Below is my analysis:

From two days, there are two things that have been pricking my mind and they are the cooler and the soap. Funny, but true. I could not understand why they kept showing these two things, why they kept giving importance to it and finally today's episode gave me a little clear picture. I was happy that I did not do an analysis yesterday because today I can do a combined one in a way I perceived the scenes. Thus my analysis will a combination of today and yesterday and my request is to just bear with me. I am not sure if any of what I am going to say is already said and if it is, I apologize beforehand.

Hey cooler dev, humari laaz rakana ,kya ki hamari damaadji ka dimaag bahot garam hain

This was said by Buaji when she was repairing the cooler. This indicates that she knows Arnav is a very angry young man and he is not a person who can be easily manipulated. Thus, she is praying to keep his temper cool because she knows that when Arnav comes to know the truth about Shyam, about Khushi engagement to him, he is going to get very angry. She also knows that he is going to blame them, the elders and her, especially, because she was one who forced Khushi for the engagement. Coolers are used to cool and she is hoping that by repairing the situation, by providing an explanation, they will be able to salvage the situation if it arises. She thinks that explanation will cool Arnav and make him understand. Only if she knew. This would be possible with any other person but not with Arnav Singh Raizada because Arnav in his temper is an unreasonable man.

Thus, I feel that when and if he comes to know the truth, he is not going to take it calmly. He is going to blame the Gupta elders especially Garima and Buaji. Garima and Buaji will try to make him understand, try to explain it to him but they will be unsuccessful in the same way they were unsuccessful in getting the cooler near Arnav. As the cooler could not reach him, their explanation will not reach him. These two ladies will go to any length to make him understand, but, alas, his pre-conceptions, his understanding that they hid the truth from him in the first place, will not let him see their sincerity, will not let the truth reach him in exact same way as the air could not reach him because of Buaji.

Thus Arnav will end up refusing the sweetness (halwa) that the Gupta's offered, he will refuse their Amrit for the poison that is spreading in him. He will leave to wash away his anger but he will be unable to do so because he will still be seeing the broken pieces of the truth, he will still be seeing only the broken picture as the broken mirror and he will be not able to connect the truth. He will still be seeing Khushi through the opaque soap (I loved the camera angle here where Arnav looks at the soap then at Khushi) because his vision is blurred with the half-truths spoken by Shyam and witnessed by him on the terrace. He will still think she is the culprit and though he will hear the Gupta's side, he will still blame them. This is because there is in his words "No Handwash" i.e. no transparency as no one knows what a devil Shyam Manohar Jha is,no one knows what a manipulator he is, and how he has been manipulating everyone from Anjali to Guptas to Khushi to Arnav, no one knows the lengths he can go to or has gone, starting from Bauji's paralysis to Anjali's accident. Till all this connects, till the broken picture becomes whole, till the opaqueness of the soap reduces, Arnav will blame Khushi for loving Shyam and the Gupta's for hiding it.

Thus, in the end, he himself will go in the search of the truth because "kua pyasa ke paas nahi aa sakta hain to pyasa kua ke paas ja sakta hain". He will then in his usual style call for reinforcements without caring for consequences. He himself will try to find the explanation, a solution for his dilemma, like he did today with the AC. His initial solution, his initial reaction will end up hurting the Gupta's but for him the truth will be important, for him the actual reality is important, for him knowing who Shyam Manohar Jha actually is will be important, because now its not only Anjali's life at stake but also Aakash's and thus his whole family, whose reaction is unpredictable. His reaction, his solution will spread darkness in the Gupta household like the AC, it will load their lives with sadness but he will not care, he will stll pursue the truth because somewhere his conscience will prick him and not let him rest till he finds out the whole and the actual truth.

Arnav will find the truth, he will see the whole picture and it will be Shyam Manohar Jha who directly or indirectly will be responsible for it. This is because of the yesterday's Shyam conversation with Bubbli. When Bubbli asked him where will I find the glycerine soap, that soap through which everything will be seen clearly. His answer was "Shyam uncle hain na". Thus when Arnav will try to start connecting the dots, when he will start searching, it will be Shyam who will help reduce the opaqueness, who will assist him seeing the actual Khushi Kumari Gupta, who will help him connect the broken pieces of truth because Shyam is the only person who holds the key to the truth. He will do it unknowingly but he will do it. Won't it be ironic that the person who smudged the image will be the one who will clean it, the person who distorted the view, will be the one who will straighten it and the person who twisted the truth will be the one who help unravel it,? Well, they say "Truth unfolds but never stays hidden"

I am not really sure if Bubbli will play a role here but she might be Shyam's spokeperson, the unknown one who will help Arnav find the truth. She might impart Shyam's secrets or hints to Arnav and guide him through the web of lies to center of the truth, who will help him realize the blunder he has done, the sin he has committed against Khushi and the Gupta's.

Thus the actual repentance will start and his second reinforcement that he called today comes into picture. The towel and the soap. They say soap and towel are used to clear the infected area, they act as disinfectant. This time when Arnav will clean the mess, he will do it in a way that the whole infection that is Shyam Manohar Jha is taken out from the Gupta's life. He will ensure that Shyam will not harm them anymore and nothing Shyam has done will ever affect them again. As Tanthya said yesterday and Buaji confirmed today, he is their "Shri Krishna". As Shri Krishna saved Draupadi from besmirch, he will save and clear Gupta's from the besmirch that Shyam in his lust and Arnav in his ignorance has been responsible for. Khushi might not agree to his ways, Khushi will fight , Khushi will try to disrupt his plans as she disrupted the towels today but she will understand and she will herself will help him as she put the towels back when he will explain to her that it is important, it is necessary, it is for their own good because and in his own words, "Jab mein chala jaaonga to sabke kaam aayega"

This sentence also proves that the separation track is coming, they will separate and I feel it is necessary because only through separation they will realize how important they are to each other, how they complete each other, how they are two halves of one whole, two lives one soul.

Rangoli:

When this quest for truth will start, when they will return to RM with the half truth, I feel it will first be Khushi who will connect the dots as she connected the dots in the Rangoli. Arnav will be blind to the truth, to the path but she will guide him. she will assist him and once he realizes the whole truth, she will ask to turn around. He will have to because by turning around only he will see his past, his mistakes, his sins that he has committed against her since the first day she fell in his arms in that fashion shown. By turning only he will realize, how big a culprit he is of hers and by turning around only he will be able to repent for each and every bad action he has committed against her. He will stagger, he will stumble but at the end Khushi will give him her hand, she will support his staggering life, she will stabilize him and this time she will not leave his hand, she will not leave him alone because she will not want to take the colors out of his life that she herself had inputted in his life. she will not want to spoil the Rangoli because like the Rangoli, their lives have finally come together after a long journey of hardships

Tant, loved loved the episodic analysis. Yes, the difference between the first month wedding completion and their celebrations by the families were so nicely put out. Didn't I tell you that the scriptwriting have become tight and that the track is laid out now at a macro level??? What they need to ponder over is the layout of the micro tracks which will complete the macro one. Also since you have touched the part of Anjali's pregnancy miscarriage and Payal and Aakash's marriage rift which is definitely going to happen and ASR's formal introduction infront of the neighbours, I will not touch upon but will just correct that when the old lady asked him whether he will keep her happy always he didn't utter "Whatever" but it was "NEVER". Yes, the editing team had either overlapped "whatever" to never or it was never because whatever doesn't fit in. Then the neighbors blessed them to stay together for eternity, that is why "Never" fits in. As usual it's TANTASTIC. 👏 👏 👏

Before I get into the serious analysis, I just wanna mention that in yesterday's analysis I forgot to add the "6 Months marriage contract" in the "Purity" part; it just slipped my mind. Yes there are two things that were taken away from Khushi by ASR; one through the "Footage" and the other through "Contract Marriage". Both define purity and also a part of Social Stigma. By looking at today's episode I guess the "Contract Marriage" will come out first and then when the whole truth of Shyaam's involvement in Bauji's paralytic attack comes at the forefront, then the "Footage" issue will come in the picture as that is where everything started. So, just add the "contract marriage" portion also while you remember my yesterday's analysis.

Let's start. Shall we??? Let me take you to the episode on Monday and didn't I tell you that the PH have been laying down the track since that day??? Yes. They have finished the sketching on a bird's eye view but now the toughest job is depicting in an episode on a daily basis; so, we have to be patient in understanding the track and the message hidden in every day's episode. Today also that 5% message was there but it was hidden in such a way that to make a connection was simply next to impossible. And I take this opportunity to thank Purvi (Casper) here who really helped me to think. I said her - the message is "Blackout" and she agreed. Generally Purvi never waits for the analysis basically after my "Raisin" theory as she prefers to know it beforehand 'coz I spin the message while penning down. So, today I messaged her after almost 45 mins, of my blackout message, that "I am turning the table" and you can read it in the analysis. She said - No, tell me now. I then mentioned the message is NOT "Blackout" because that is obvious and it is not only Class v/s Heart but also "CANDOR V/S DECEPTION". She then nodded - Oh yeah !!!

Yes, always remember that the saying - "taali ek haath se nehin bajti" means "consider both the sides of the coin". If ASR needs to understand the difference between Class & Heart then the Guptas and Khushi also needs to understand the difference between ASR & Shyaam - Candor v/s Deception. Yes, here comes Monday's episode when Shyaam said - "Buaji ke ghar mein din kitne aache the, hum raat mein chai leke baatein karte the". That day it clicked me but you cannot just put forward an interpretation; I needed a proof and today I got that. Yes, this track is also about ASR v/s Shyaam because if the Guptas doesn't understand the "TRUE" ASR then how can we justify that when the truth will be out then they will allow ASR to be their "WARRIOR"??? As I always say - nothing happens in this world without a reason and we ought to justify our every actions. Just because he is their son-in-law, he doesn't get the BOD here. He also needs to prove his HONESTY and JUST character, the same way he needs to understand why the Guptas had hidden "Shyaam's truth" from them. It's got to be win-win situation.

Shyaam Maohar Jha - the person whose appearance can portray the picture of an honest man; a man whose every word been spoke seems soothing to one's ears; a man whose honesty shows in his speech; a man who cares for his acquaintances; a man who seems noble and docile; a man who is a friend in need; a man who will listen endlessly to your pains and will sit beside you night after night to accompany you when you are busy with work; a man who can sacrifice his time for you; a man who manages multiple world with finesse; a man who knows the formula to win over one's heart within a fraction of a second. Yes, that man is Shyaam Manohar Jha.

When Khushi was being humiliated by the public due to the video release then a man appeared who saved her honor and integrity. A man who saved her and her parents from the gazing eyes and street goons was thanked by Shashiji and Garimaji. This man made a comeback to Khushi's life and with all his charming traits even started to live with them under one roof as a family member. He took care of Khushi's needs, Buaji's needs and even offered his help to the daily chores. Soon he became the apple of Buaji's eye so much so that she suggested this man to be Khushi's life partner. Today's episode took me to that day, when Shyaam brought some groceries for Buaji and family and when Buaji was surprised he said - "Buaji hum ne kuch nehin kiya, aap ne humare sar par haath rakha jo hai". Who in the world won't be impressed with this man??? Anyone would. Anyone will praise his upbringing, isn't it??? This is how each and every day he managed to impress this family to satisfy his motive and yes, he did have a motive and that is why all he did was simply a "PLOY".

Let's look at the day when Khushi came to know about Shyaam's true identity. That day when the entire Gupta family faced this multi-faceted human being, then it was Buaji who said - "humri aankhen itni badi galti kaise kar gayi, arre Sashi Babua hum pe itna bharosa kare aur humne yeh kya kiya". We saw the fall of a Devil and that day his true facet was out in the open. After what all he had done can he ever win back his position in the eyes of Guptas'??? Will he ever??? NO and this dishonesty will cost him his whole life.

Arnav Singh Raizada - A suave, polished, intelligent, self-made, Harvard Grad who believes in making his own destiny. A man who is candor, straightforward, honest, principled yet have the belief that he not only changes his own destiny but have the capability to change other's as well. He is the man who is responsible for their misery and who brought them on the roads. A man who will never be liked by anyone in their first interaction, a man who is proud, workaholic and egoistic; a man who is not loquacious and would never try to portray himself to anyone as one; a man who dares a hoot about anyone yet he is helpful when needed and never will ever advertise this quality of his; a man who doesn't understand human values and when he does realize he have done a mistake he regrets; a man who never thinks of the consequences before any work; a man who doesn't care a damn of what others have opinion of him. This is Arnav Singh Raizada.

Let's see how he was introduced to the Gupta family. Yes, you have guessed it correct. It was guest house sequence and that day he rescued Khushi and brought her home. By this time he had done NOTHING good to this family that the Guptas will ever even look at him with respect. That's what happened and he was attacked verbally by both Payal and Buaji. Buaji said that day - "agar humri bitiya ko kuch ho gaya toh hum tumra band bajai debe" and Payal showed him the door. Even then also this man didn't do any good to be in the good books of the Guptas. Did he try any harder to change the opinion he already had in the eyes of the Guptas??? Did he??? No he didn't, because he gives a damn about others opinion. That's how he is and that is how he acts. Period.

Today also the same thing happened. When he married Khushi did he even bother to come to the Guptas and ask for absolution??? It was not alone Khushi's fault but his also right??? Did he ever realize about this family what they will face when the contract of 6 months will be over??? Did he ever take into consideration that whether this family is financially sustainable or not??? He didn't and even today when he got the AC, he just did it for his own comfort; he didn't even think even before justifying "main jaane ke baad yeh sabke kaam ayenge" that how this family who cannot even afford to change a "broken mirror", how the hell they can afford to pay the electricity bill of the AC??? Did he ever think that being a Harvard Grad??? No he didn't. He didn't even realize that he was "Insulting" the Guptas by bringing in the AC. He is straightforward and he never does anything just to be in the "Good books" of others but yet he is the one who helped them paying their medical dues and yet did he even take pride in that??? No. he respects the elders but that doesn't mean his character is changed. When the family showed their hurt in a subtle way, he somewhere was not able to justify them his behavior as he is not used to. In Raizada Mansion, no one dares to even ask for clarification from him, even his Di so why will he ever think that he needs to justify the Guptas. If I put myself in his shoes, then he won't, he never had and today also he didn't. He just lacks this "QUALITY' in him and this is why this track fits in. For Arnav and Khushi and also the Guptas. They need to understand the character persona named -"Arnav Singh Raizada" and why he is different than "Shyaam Manohar Jha".

He knows that he was never their eye candy boy but this is the truth. The Guptas need to realize what Arnav is and what makes him Arnav Singh Raizada and then, only then, they can allow him to be their "Warrior" otherwise the story line cannot be justified. Just because he is their Son-in-law, he doesn't get the liberty to walk away sabotaging Khushi's life with the footage released and with the contract wedding. There should be an understanding and as Arnav needs to know the difference between Class and Heart to justify himself why the Guptas had hidden Shyaam's truth from him and Anjali, the same way Guptas also need to understand Arnav to justify themselves why Arnav acts in an impulsive way and what is the reason behind his impulsiveness. Then and only then, each can forgive the other and he can be their "Warrior" when the time will come for "Crude truth is always better than a Lie".

Let's come to my earlier message that I was actually intended to write at first - "Blackout". This scene straight took me to the second episode and also made me realize that first the "Contract Marriage" will be out to the Guptas and then the "Footage" clipping fiasco.

That day it was Payal's wedding. Khushi went to fight against dowry with Payal's insistence but it was her fate she met with the mighty Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada and because of him the groom left the holy Mandap. When Khushi returned see witnessed the whole neighbors accusing her to be the "Cause" for Payal's fate; her family had to face the verbal torture and abuse from the society; she faced the wrath of her family members for not involving them in this agenda; that day she and her family had to face the society and the only culprit was the mighty Arnav Singh Raizada. That day we witnessed one "Blackout". But in the end it was because of this culprit today Payal is happily married to Aakash and yet no one knows that the "Destroyer" that day became the "Savior" now.

Today again the same indication was given. When Arnav wanted to switch on the AC the society power cable could not even take the "Load". The electrician said - "load badh gayi hain, jab bhi koi nayi machine aata hain, pata inhein hi chalta hai sabse pehle". Yes, "Load" which means the "Blow" that is going to hit the Gupta family pretty soon. When the technicians accused of the walls being old then Garimaji uttered - "nehin nehin deewar pukhta hain, itna vajan le legi" and Buaji said - "suno ghar bhale hi purana hain, leki humri tarha majboot hain'samjheio". The blow of another daughter's marriage is going to hit them pretty soon but they will survive this one too for this time they will be not alone and there will be Arnav beside them. This time also the "Destroyer" will be their "Savior".

Yes, the society will stigmatize Khushi this time too but the "LOAD" will be taken by Arnav mostly. He will and that is why we saw two different pictures today. They got the blessing to be together for eternity and we saw them crossing the paths as there will be separation inevitably but when the blackout happened we saw both Khushi and Arnav staring at it from inside the house whereas last time it was Khushi alone who had faced the wrath of the society from outside and facing the house. This means when the truth will be out and after the repentance Arnav will be with Khushi to fight against the "Evil". A very beautiful comparison it was, by the creative team. 👍🏼

Satya when I first saw your post yesterday(04/18) I was wondering why Satya is not happy with todays episode when she should be having a field day deciphering it!! Am I one failed student of Satya-Doods Analysis acedamy!! Am I losing it.Because I observed that they have used all the 5 elements of nature to convey something. Mirror (it was installed outside that is sky)(Aakash), Cooler for air(Vayu), Cooked food(Fire as in Agni), his hiccups and water there in(Jal), Rangoli (earth)...So I thought it was most powerful episode so far. What a thinking!!! At night I saw Doods detailed description. That was a relief I tell you. I really dont know what a show can do to your otherwise sane world. And today morning I saw your analysis. Thanks for making me realize I haven't failed. I want to make my teachers proud you know!! For I am one big rule follower...

Coming back to todays episode.. Both are registering things. For khushi, she now knows where exactly she stands.From her point of view, when she knows the real reason of her wedding, that will be an ultimate blow.She will not have much option left to walk out of the marriage. She is seeing the different how her family is bending over its back to appease the son in law. Nothing matters to them at this point but his happiness. If damaadji is happy they are happy.

Arnav is noticing things. I am not sure if that has registered in his mind or not. Its hard to be in his shoes right now. A man who is used to things the way he wants it to be,finicky at times, has been made to adjust with new environment.So he is trying his level best to adjust. He will see how her life was before she came to Shantivan. Her roots. Her belief. Her system. Her elements. Those are all important for any human being. Being put in a new environment make one feel fish out of water for sure.

Here I would like to point Khushi's turmoil. The girl who is going through so much. The way she deals with things are so different. She supresses it and tries to make adjustments. Compromise when it comes to her. It comes to her naturally because she is an orphan. For her its borrowed love. Its like she always owes something.And the way she was married, the treatment she got soon after. Everything is bottled up in her. She moving forward with a fake smile is a fake world. That is not real Khushi. Now and then because of circumstances, she remembers them. When she does, the pain in her eyes is so evident. Her helplessness. The thing with Arnav is he vents his pain on someone and people around him take it. For Khushi everything is bottled and when it erupts, it will be nothing short of a volcano...Today my heart went out for this girl.

When Arnav said "Jab mai chala jaonga sab ka kaam ayega!!" Forshadowing???? Will Khushi stay behind???

Hola people 🤗

I did see many significance's in in today's episode however for the first time I could not relate to Arnav Singh Raizada and if I cannot stand Khushi Kumari Gupta's over the top attitude then today I could not stand Arnav Singh Raizada.

I will just start off with the important things that I noticed in today's episode.

Arnav Khushi Equation I

"Ye hume itna khush rakhenge ki saari duniya dekhti reh jaayegi"

"Bhagwaan kare tum donon ki jodi sathon janam bani rahein"

The whole first scene was defined and completed by these two dialogues. The two important facets of married life - happiness and togetherness of seven lives - and somehow both are missing from Arnav and Khushi's married life. Happiness is something that touches them for a moment (Holi sequence) and then goes and Marriage - it is a sham of 6 months that comes time and again and till now they both know that it will not last forever.

The small reaction - the small smile on Arnav's face when he notices the salman khan posters was adorable - he has begun to relate to her - he has begun to see who she is - the acceptance however will take time.

Garima and Buaji - both scared to enter Arnav's room and ask him to come out - they know him and they are scared to approach him - however when they leave - he calls them out and goes out in a misunderstanding. ( God this man! Why does he never listen to the full thing!? - aadhi cheez sunta hai and then MU happens 🤪) I am guessing - that soon enough maybe the Gupta ladies will know something is wrong in ArHI marriage and that too because of Shyam and they will go to confess the truth - but will be scared of approaching him - just like Khushi is. However Arnav will seek them out and listen to them - and that is where he will realize his mistake and like Tanths put it - he will become the savior of the Gupta household. Like Buaji again called him - nand kishore and krishna - kanhayian - just like Lord Krishna was Arjun's rath *chalak* - Arnav will be the *chalak* of the Gupta household and will take the responsibility of the house on his shoulders.

Pardon me writers - but I believe even lower middle class people know what an MBA is! Chalo if for once the nani would have been confused I would have understood the logic - but the two aunties who did not seem very old - compared MBA to shashtra path!? Seriously!?

Then came the dialogues that I started this equation started with - the happiness and the seven lives of togetherness - both missing from their married life now. However, these blessings from the people will bind them together. Khushi said today that Arnav will always keep her happy - If only she knew that how much he would love to do that even now - if not for the misunderstanding. Now when this misunderstanding comes to an end - and they finally get together - they will live happily ever after.

Similarly for the blessing of the seven lives of togetherness - right now at this moment as soon as both of them heard it - Khushi was disappointed and Arnav was stunned. Khushi repeated it - wishing that her married life to Arnav was not a sham of 6 months - while Arnav looked taken aback at her reaction. They both want to spend 7 lives and more with each other - you can see it in their eyes - however - the fake hatred has put such a cloud of darkness over both of them that they are scared to see the light.

Arnav and the Gupta Ladies equation II

Okay - the most hated part of the episode today. I cannot support Arnav's actions today because I could not relate to them. He did wrong and I so totally felt like slapping him myself. 😡

I understand why Arnav called in for the toiletries - because people from his status and even middle class status - most of the times - carry their own toiletries. I do it and I am sure most of us do - because we cannot in any situation use these of any other. I am surprised he did not take them with him in the first place. So toiletries was not an issue for me at all.

But the AC!? Seriously!? I know he was feeling Hot - I could understand he was not used to it - but ordering AC and without even letting anyone know!? Without seeking permission!? Nope - did not go down well with me. True - what Khushi thought that he was doing it deliberately - was not true - he did it not to irritate her - but for his own comfort yet - not acceptable. However much someone is uncomfortable in a situation - we do not make the hosts feel low by doing something like this - and today more than Khushi - I felt so bad for Garima and buaji. For the first time I felt like smacking Arnav today. Garima and Buaji accepted it in good stride - however they were hurt and I could not see it. Arnav Singh Raizada - you disappointed me today.

I would not talk about Khushi's reaction (specifically because what Garima and Buaji felt yesterday was because of her - so today her feelings does not bother me much) but when she took up on Arnav's room - she did it deliberately to irritate him - however Arnav did not. He did it for his own comfort. But Khushi never let down any of Arnav's family members - neither in his eyes nor in hers. Arnav's this act made Garima and Buaji feel low and short - and even though it might have been true to his character - I fail to see its justification.

Coming to significances - I saw two :

1) The house stands strong

When the AC guys tell Arnav that would the house be able to stand the pressure of a split AC and buaji and Garima came out claiming that the house was strong enough to stand anything - I related that to how they stood strong and together when the Shyam truth came out and how in future they will stand strong when the reality of Khushi and Arnav marriage come out in the open. However in the later scene - Arnav will be a part of them. He will be standing with them and he will be their backbone. The first scene when Shyam truth came out Arnav was not there - but when this time the truth comes out Arnav will be in the ambit of the Gupta house - supporting them.

2) The towel scene

Khushi is irritated by Arnav - she thinks he is doing it deliberately to irritate her (which he is not) - but in her irritation she throws the towel and then she is the one who puts it back together. This is what has happened - Khushi chose to keep a secret not hers to keep and now all are suffering the consequence of that one mistake - Arnav's MU, their marriage - everything is based on this one mistake of Khushi - she scattered all of it and all the pieces of the puzzle are scattered here and there and only it has to be brought together. Khushi will bring it - like she puts the towels back together - she will put all the clues together unknowingly for Arnav to see and come closer to the truth and realize his mistake.

Arnav and Khushi equation III

Did I hear Arnav say 'mein left mein sounga!?' 😳When the episode aired - I thought that Khushi was going to sleep on the ground and Arnav on the bed - but when I heard this, I was like What the!??😆 Did Arnav just agree to sleep on the bed with Khushi because he heard about the rats!? That would be so cool! ;)) However now because of a certain Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada - I guess the sleep to whole of Khushi's area is likely to come. All I can hope is that he rectifies his mistake asap.

I would not talk about Khushis dialogue about teaching him a lesson - because if this is what was to happen in GH then we were so much better off at RM! He does something - she reacts - she does something - he reacts. I am so getting done with this tom and jerry game.

Anyways - did not think would write this much - but again lamba hogaya!😆 Hoping it made sense. Will have to wait for the star analysers and their take now for positivity. Me off to sleep 🥱

I say Thank you because I really hated the whole AC fiasco that had happened yesterday - I could not could not relate to it at all - may be I was expecting a bit too much from Arnav. However thank you so much for making me belive that he was not out of character and he felt guilty for what he had done

Apart from that - I do not have to say it - but I will - LOVED both of your analysis! Sathya - I did not connect that since it was Payash's one month anniversary it was - Arnav - Khushi's too! But the difference between the two couples was FAB!! 👏 👏 Also I will say it again the AC thing - was brilliant! ⭐️ Doodhs - Loved how you have said that we need to know about Shyam v/s Arnav thing - the Gupta's need to see who the real Arnav Singh Raizada and without any pretense from his side. Arnav is no Shyam that he will live a life of deciet and lies - he will do as he pleases and he did that yesterday. Loved the whole blackout scene and its analysis with what can happen in the future ! 👏 👏

When I was around 14 years of age, I got these really bad bad blisters on the soles of my feet. Lucknow summers aren't really kind to kids who play around in the burning sun with naked feet. (I had been there just 5 days, so didn't know what the heat could do). Anyway, these blisters were really irritating, though I marvelled at them (Tom Sawyer style). There were times when I would ignore the pain and walk around, there were times when I wished I could just scrape them off, puncture them, get rid of them- and there were times when they hurt me so much that they drove me to tears along with an apathy to play for some days. But then, I would get on with it - after all, it was just a matter of days when they would burst, a scab would be formed, which would then peel off to present new skin over the hurt.

You're probably wondering why I dived into a childhood story about blisters. Well, it was the best way I could relate to with Khushi in today's episode. Don't worry, I won't get into the contents of my yesterday's post on Khushi, but this much I would like to say:

Much as Khushi has hidden her grief, her misery, her pain and her loneliness all these days - they were all reflected in her eyes in an instant of an old lady's prayer of Arnav and she living happily together for eternity.

The massive burden that Khushi has been carrying within her is just like a blister. Festering in there, piercing her now and then, reminding her of its presence and adding its weight on her soul. She has been ignoring it all this time, a valiant effort on her part. She has learnt to laugh, and put on a merry face in times of adversity, she has in her own small ways brushed her hurt aside and continued to live life like the way it was before the marriage, as one day she'll anyway be freed from it, and start life on a new note. But today, that terrible blister was brought out so suddenly right in front of her without any warning whatsoever. And there you see it - the child-like, happy, cheerful veneer (that I spoke about yesterday) vanishes in a nano-second replacing it with an intense heart-break in her eyes, the strong pain mixed with deep grief, sad realization and jarring anguish.

The words "saaton janmo tak tumhare rishta banaye rakhe" which brings a happy smile to most married women is the piercing arrow that hits straight at Khushi's vulnerable heart, leaving her defenseless - her heart's deep seated pain is displayed in her eyes, and the smile is slashed off immediately.

"Saaton janmo tak..." The comment brings Khushi and Arnav back to the reality of their marriage, for a few moments. Living every day, in the same room, in the same house, with the same people - they have become habituated to the daily motions of living as a couple. While on one hand Aakash and Payal remember and celebrate completing one month of marriage, on the other hand the two people who actually need to count down the months do not realize that the days to the 6 months are gradually decreasing. They realize this fact only when Taiyeeji mouths the "saat janmo tak..." line.

Khushi plays the line in her mind, the line clearly making a very strong impact on her, and then she instantly looks at Arnav, checking to see if his face showed some sign of the line having an effect on him. (It is hard to decipher Arnav's look, but his was more of a look that showed he knew to a certain extent that the line meant something to Khushi.)

When Tayeeji blesses them to live happily together forever, the looks exchanged between Arnav and Khushi are of slight shock at first, then realization that it will be over in 6... well, 5 months, and then a different feeling - a feeling of not looking forward to that last day of the 6th month, a look of longing that wished that things didn't have to be this way, a look that sought to seek a hint of love in the other, just a glimpse... (The emotions were brilliantly portrayed by Sanaya and Barun!!)

Khushi recovers first, crosses his path, and then he crosses her, they stop after a few paces in opposite directions, pause, turn and look at one another... gauging each other, searching each others faces for some sign, some emotion, some clue. (just like yesterday after Khushi pulls Arnav toward her, out of the rangoli, and he searches her face for some kind of hint, some signal). Khushi will be the one who will take the first step to leave RM, Arnav won't stop her - knowing that she's doing the right thing, they go their seperate ways, but turn and reflect on their situation, each reflecting on the secrets they withheld from each other.

The above scene was lovely. Not just because we get to see Khushi rattled, but in a way it was a positive sign. Tayeeji's blessing to them, of praying that they stay together for a lifetime is a hint that - sigh, much as these two quarrel, push each other around, misunderstand each other, or hide their care and concern for each other - they will have a long lifetime with each other to polish up their wits, remarks, sarcasm and love 😆 We viewer's will get to see them together for as long as the show lasts!!

Besides the above scene, I was also struck by the differences in the entrance of Khushi and Arnav in RM and GH, respectively.

1. Khushi enters to anger, tears and disappointment / Arnav enters to happiness, warmth, care

- Khushi's family and the Raizada family are shocked, disturbed and angry with Arnav-Khushi's sudden marriage. Her family is distraught and terribly upset with Khushi.

- A huge beautiful rangoli greets Arnav as he enters GH. He receives blessings before entering the house. A hug too is bestowed on him signifying the large-heartedness of the family.

2. Khushi is welcomed with questions she has no answers to / Arnav is welcomed with smiles, attention

- Arnav leaves Khushi all alone to deal with the bombardment of questions regarding their marriage. She stands there all alone, none the wiser like the others who are throwing questions at her all the time.

- The GH household pays singular attention to Daamadji's slightest needs. They take into consideration that he is ill (on Khushi's trick tip-off) and supply him with whatever he needs.

3. Khushi is pushed into discomfort / Arnav is faced with people trying their best to make him feel comfortable, whatever the cost

- Khushi is first not given any answers behind the reason for the fake marriage, she is then made to sleep out in the cold, feels orphaned once again as her family refuses to speak with her, faces the brunt of remarks, ire and disappointment from the RM members, and is subjected to scathing remarks from Arnav on a daily basis

- The Gupta household over exert themselves just to keep their Daamadji comfortable and happy, they take the effort to feed him suitable food as he is sick (a prank by Khushi that they are unaware of), get the cooler closer to him so that the heat doesn't get to him, immediately run for water/sugar when he gets hiccups, and accomodate his need for comfort when he installs an AC in their house.

4. Khushi is ignored by every member in the house / Arnav is fawned over not only by GH people but also by their neighbours

- Khushi was ignored not only by the Raizada people but also by her own family. She was distanced and alienated from all her close ones. A girl for who family bonds mean a lot, is left stranded there with no one by her side.

- Arnav draws interest from the GH neighbours. The GH anyway fawn over him, and now the neighbours too are impressed and happy to see Khushi's husband and pay him a lot of attention.

I would have loved to decode the scenes too, but there are other fabulous Reduxians out here who derive striking meanings from the scenes. And as I've written quite a lot, I will leave the decoding for the weekend.

I'll leave you with one last chatter:

If since the last few weeks we saw Khushi in OTT mode (except for her do din ka moun vratt), this time we see Arnav, unused to the basics of adjustment and compromises, hurting the sentiments of his hosts. Both in their own ways, are unaware of the little errors they have been committing. These errors will be a boon however, as they will make them realize where they went wrong, and will push them to rectify their mistakes. Both Khushi's and Arnav's tracks are being built up for redemption, and it will be a good track to watch, if it is handled well.

loved how u compared the difference in the two couples celebrating their 1month anniversary. I had not paid attention to the differences until I read ur post.

Barun's and Sanaya's expressions today were bang on. the welcome each received into their in-laws place were polar opposites. yes he ordered the ac without consulting any1 but he is ASR and that is wat he does best, but u can c the progress in his character, he was feeling a bit uncomfortable.

the scene wen the r told bout bein together 4 7lifetimes and the sadness and uncertainty 4the two of them and Khushi's flashback scene where Khushi Remembers bein thrown out of the room beautifully done.

ASR the man who is well educated business tycoon has started learning again...what is he learning about...he is not clear about that...but is he learning?...,,,
Yes ,Absolutely...subconsciously ...registering the one thing lacking in his armor ...the common man's touch,the emotions that drive them,the values they pass to their children and lastly the geniune happiness which they share seeing the other's happiness around them

Let me start the rendition of my piece.
ASR sweating in the first scene told me of the heat and his inability to adjust to that element of heat.it also signified to me that ASR was melting with regards to his feelings for Khushi .to control it , he brought the AC but to no avail ... With electricity gone and nothing to prevent the ice turning to water... ASR's education on khushi and her family's values continues.

Secondly garima and buaji are frightened of their son-in -law.they know that their SIL isnot an easy person to handle so they evade him after trying to enter the room with a request.Arnav as usual misunderstand and enters the living room only to face three of buaji's friends.I really loved this scene where the three ladies are interested in ASR's education and his ability to keep Khushi happy.the contrast between khushi's introduction to his society and vice versa was clearly shown.Khushi was abused with taunts but Arnav was lovingly welcomed.even the comedy was endearing in this sequence .Buaji's fiends were not rich and it didn't matter to them that Arnav was rich.they gave Khushi money to get sOmething for damadji .the old lady also gave them blessings for them to be together for seven janmas.this blessing is aneye opener to Arnav ad to how marriage is treasured in khushi' s worl and how a person who leaves her husband loses all her respect.khushi's wound is again shown to be opened and she looks at Arnav with sadness.she knows that marriage is only for a short duration.Arnav whose heart longs for a Khushi filled marriage is also taken aback.khushi's words on how her husband will keep her very happy that the world will look

Asli duniya-the word used by Khushi for me meant the world according to her and her her family'sPOV.so Khushi has taken on herself the onus of teaching Arnav to look at the world not only from his stance but also from her POV.she felt that one can live without an AC instead of hurting buaji the way Arnav did ...but alas buaji and garima like any other daughter's parents feel that their daughter and SIL's happiness is Paramount ... That they should not the cause of strife between both really stood out.Arnav registered that his happiness is Very important to them.

What a lesson,could this be taught in any university .absolutely not...

This valuable input will actually help Arnav in the long run.waiting for the day when Khushi too would...

First of all, thanks @tanthya. If you remember I had PMed you about 'strategical positioning' of people in crucial scenes. I never believed in those. If one day Anjali stands facing Shyam the very next day she can stand facing the other side. So can we actually conclude or predict something based on that? You had posted a convincing reply on this distinctiveness of PH and the reference to earlier shows. Now seems slowly I have started noticing the nuances CVs bring in for those who care to pay attention. Thanks again 😊. Today I did notice few.

DM idol placed behind the laptop - It really can not be a coincidence. Loved it. Truth is evading him just like DM. Yesterday - Khushi prevented the prasad\blessing\truth reaching him just like the way she prevented shyam's truth reaching arnav to protect him from illness\hurt. Today - the truth is in front of him but he choose to ignore\veil it with his own inhibitions(Laptop is always the escape rout for him and thus it always protected his inhibitions.So it can easily be the metaphor of his inhibitions or inner barriers). Loved Loved it. ⭐️. I am impressed CVs.

Khushi's Salman khan - So Arnav all set to replace Salman in khushi's life? see how the camera angle replaced Salman with arnav😆! Don't think it has any deeper meaning. May be just a jest by the CVs (or director?).Loved it ⭐️. And I promise I will pay more attention to the object's and people's positioning. Again thanks @tanthya for being the guiding light.⭐️.

The broken mirror and broken truths - I am not sure if someone has already mentioned it if yes regret the repetition. The broken mirror symbolizes the truth or rather I would say difference pieces of truth. Of course the truth is broken into pieces.Shyam - khushi engagement, Shyam - babuji murder attempt, shyam - anjali murder attempts, GH hiding truth from RM nivaasi's.

So there are different pieces of truth and arnav need to collect this pieces and put it together to get the complete picture. He can pick few from GH but not all and See the missing pieces in the bottom of the mirror!. He need to head back home to collect the remaining pieces. ⭐️. Loved it.👏

Class Vs Heart Scorecard -> Today arnav was kind of insensitive. He had a problem (garmi..LOL.hotness.yes indeed IF has been suffering from that problem ever since you showed up in the show.😳.) and he did something to fix it which he does best normally. Found a quick fix without considering about the implications, Just like their marriage. Damage is done but he is yet to realize the impact and the embarrassment of the GH nivaasi's.

How CVs relate this small tracks to the bigger one(Again I am impressed ⭐️), Isn't it awesome? As a larger track we have a MU and a Quick fix i.e. marriage. we During Heer - Ranjha act, he misunderstood her intentions for giving up the price money similar to the main MU and that small one got cleared pretty fast.

Today he fixed a problem without thinking about the implications, just like the way he came up with marriage plan as a quick fix. Both the quick fixes caused pain to GH. So I am assuming CVs showing this small track as an analogy to the marriage quickfix and will be solved pretty quickly like the tiny MU during heer-ranjha act. So I think it is safe to assume Arnav soon gonna realize how his this small quickfix created havoc.

Khushi and her monologue - Khushi, She has been trying to teach aranav a lesson, since the dharga scene. Khushi's monologue about teaching arnav a lesson, well, what can I say. It has become her cliche monologue. CVs you have made khushi say that dialogue every now and then in different tune, different context and different shades. Move on. Get a new dialogue. I am bored, really . ----> A CV small dose of bashing to ward of evil eye 😆.

Over all nice episode, heartwarming, got to see the glimpse of khushi who is hurt beyond words, Loved garima and buaji for the mature reactions. But missed Shyam, he is always a delight to watch. ⭐️. Lets give it four stars!
