(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

Part 17: Khushi blew it!

- Kya Se Kya Ho Gaya -

Arnav and Khushi --- Khushi and Arnav---

Arnav and Khushi - while playing Heer-Ranjha - communicated their tender emotions with each other - when Khushi pushed Arnav to clarify what he meant to say to her - he could not... Instead he, once again, blurted out that he was just acting - that too for his family's sake... Khushi gets extremely frustrated at his reaction and his not verbalizing the most important emotion - the magic word - to her...

Just when it seemed like Arnav and Khushi were closing in on the gap between them, their paths get separated again...

Today saw an irrational behavior of Khushi, devoid of any love and affection, pushing Arnav backwards on the path of his transformation into a gentle human being...

Arnav left a frustrated Khushi behind in the green room and walked out to sit in the audience with rest of the family. The tenderness and calm wiped off from his face. He sits there restless, unable to enjoy the show.

After couple of performances, Mami and Payal perform - what a disaster... I mean, I just did not understand how Payal can get so emotional at the other contestant's personal problem that she does not care about ruining her own relationship with her M-I-L and leads to public humilation of Mami during the same act that Payal forced Mami to perform...Common sense Payal, think... Even Aakash will not be able to save you! Anyway...

When Mami breaks down after the disastrous performance, whole family including Arnav comes backstage to console her. Khushi only asks Payal, "What happened... ?" Arnav tries to sooth the situation by asking Mami to relax - Mami runs to the backroom, Payal follows - exchange of words - Mami leaves green room - Khushi walks in to find out that Payal purposefully messed up Mami's act to let the other contestant win...Awww Payal, you could have asked Aakash to write a check for donation...

Khushi is informed by the organizers, at the end of her conversation with Payal, that she and Arnav won the competition for their act as 'Heer - Ranjha!' The organizer asks her to stay dressed up in her costume for some pictures. Payal remarks 'that was the the destiny!' She obviously is not happy with the results... Not happy for her sis Khushi - What's happening to you dear, sis? Errr..it is not about Payal here ...😔

Arnav consoles Payal while everyone else is consoling Mami - nice gesture, Arnav! Aakash comes and takes over for Payal from Arnav. As Aakash and Payal walk away, Arnav hears Khushi being introduced to the jugdes as "Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada" - He is surprised to hear what Khushi goes on to say to them - she requests that she should not get either the award or the award money. The orgaziers question her decision saying that the best performer pair should win and that pair happens to be her and her husband. Khushi, unaware that Arnav is listening in the background, goes on to say that they were not that good and it was only an act. The organizer insists that Arnav stepped in for Khushi's help at the last moment, just the way a good husband should. Khushi's reply, " He is a cheater as he stepped in at the last moment against the rules... I do not want this award - I do not want to share the award with my husband.." Arnav shocked at her response... his eyes filling with anger slowly...

I hated it! I hated it! I hated it!

Kaash...Yeh lemha waapis le sakte thein hum... I wish I could wipe off this moment from Arnav-Khushi's life - Khushi used extremely harsh words about Arnav - she could have politely refused to accept the award by so many other better methods - did not go with Khushi's character at all - why did she insult Arnav to be able to give the prize to someone else - especially when she did not even know that he was listening - means she believed it - Not good Khushi! Hum aap ki yeh khata nazarandaaz nahi kar sakte - I cannot forget it so easily, Khushi.. You did not just hurt Arnav, you hurt me too...

Arnav's leaves backstage upset, slightly angry... but he does not create a scene unlike his earlier times...

After the judges leave, Nani walks over to Khushi and asks why she refused to accept the award and was it because Arnav said or did something. Khushi answers that they were not eligible for competition and so she did what she thought was the correct thing to do - liar! Khushi, why did you lie? You are an honest person - you could have easily told Nani that you wanted the other contestent to get the award money - I am sure, Nani would be proud - Alas! Why are you ruining your character Khushi? 😔

And I thought..Khushi was being mature with Arnav - during and just after the act - did Arnav's inability to tell you that he loves you affect you so much that you stopped thinking...? 😭

Then comes the most impactful moment - As Khushi is going towards the green room, Arnav grabs her hand and pulls her inside the room - Angry young man Arnav, with his posture straight, face matter of fact and a subtle anger in his eyes - as Khushi tries to escape him - obstructs her path with confident steps - I loveeed it! Way to go, Arnav - if you kept asking Khushi the reason for every action of hers that is not clear to you - you will be ahead in the game of love instead of Shyam's game of ...err.. lust...

Arnav asks her why she refused to share the prize with him. Angrily Khushi responds that she did not want to share the prize with him, simple. He says that he did not even want to participate but he does not like to lose..Khushi says why does he care, he did it for Nani anyway...Arnav asks her why she did it? Khushi says that she does not consider it necessary to answer him...and tries to leave - at this moment Arnav loses his patience, grabs her harshly, clenches his teeth and insists that she gives him a reason and reminds her not to talk him like that...when he says, "..nahi toh..." Khushi dares him, "Nahi toh kya?" Arnav lets go of her, his outburst starts falling weak - we see in his eyes that he does not mean to hurt her.. he does not really know what he might do if she does not give into his demand... Khushi, on the other side, challenges him "Why did you stop?" "What will you do?" "throw things away, right.." and starts throwing clothing away from the dressing rack... Arnav asks her not to and actually much controlled at this time ... Khushi, however, goes on to say that he can do whatever he wants but she will not tell him the reason... That really irks Arnav - he says that he obliged her and he cannot believe that she is behaving like this... Khushi turns around and says, because he obliged she did not want to share the award with him...she did not want to win because he obliged.. Arnav makes a fist, makes an advance at her but instead of trying to hurt her - bangs his fist on dressing rack and leaves the room...

Khushi - Khushi - Khushi - this is no way to build the bridge of trust and love - Arnav needs love and affection - more truth from you - not your sarcastic remarks... He had come around so much - unlike him - melting in your presence.. your companionship... you just blew it, my dear!

Khushi upset with Arnav tries to huridly leave the room when her dupatta gets stuck in another costume. Anjali walks in, feeling dizzy - Khushi helps her sit down - Anjali says that she needs her medication and that has to be brought from the drug store nearby right then ... (Oh, reallY?) -- Then she calls Shyam and requests Khushi to not let Arnav know as he will get unnecessarily worried - Shyam walks in - pretends to care so much - Anjali asks him to accompany Khushi to the drug store..blah blah blah... Really this part annoyed me to the extent I do not even want to discuss it! How mindless - - - With Nani and whole family there, Khushi and Shyam leave Anjali alone getting sick, in the green room to go get medicine for her -

Of course, the opportunist Shyam jumps at her sugestion with delight - Khushi tries to say no but gives in relatively easily and declares that she would first like to change her outfit - What happened to the Khushi that was sooo angry and stubborn in front of Arnav who helped her - falls so weak in front of Anjali and decides to go with Shyam - Are you out of your mind Khushi?

At the drug store, Shyam keeps commenting as if Khushi is his wife and then Khushi - finally - shows some spark in the right place at the right time and says, "Let's go Jijaji, Di must be waiting.." to the surprise of the shopkeeper! Shyam gets very offended and angry ... but manages to grab Khushi's hanky that she conveniently left behind, on the counter...

So careless Khushi when you should not be - so stubborn where you should not have been - so mellow where you did not need to be- ---

lying ----when there was no need to ---- What went wrong in your mind, Khushi? Are you that disturbed that you lost it - just because Arnav did not say the magic word, "pyaar" - "love" ?😕

I am sure this is what Arnav's heart is saying at this time... If he happens to see Khushi with Shyam coming back from outside in the middle of night, unable to tell him where and why she went with him ,his heart will further say --- 💔

jana ke husn kya hain
kahatee hain jisako pyar duniya

kya cheej kya bala hain
dil ne kya naa saha

bewafa tere pyar me

Untold Thoughts: Khushi is very upset with Arnav for not answering her question... however, we do not see much of concern for Arnav - good or bad - either way - she is more occupied with Payal's worry - about letting the other team win - when Payal did not care about anyone. Basically, both Khushi and Payal got more worried about things those will worsen their person life to a great extent... Khushi lied; neither did she show her trust in Arnav nor in Nani... Khushi called Arnav a 'cheater' for something trivial and it did not seem like she did it just to get back to him... she did not even know that he heard... Rome was not built in a day - Arnav had progressed so much ahead in his journey of being a human, a lover - Khushi sent him backwards miles today - Th bridge of trust and love that Khushi needs to build between herself and Arnav - usmein toh woh khud aag laga chuki hai - she has staarted fire under the unbuilt bridge herself already...😭🥺

Here come the first time lovers, shores apart once again, trading their path of first time love behind the curtains of deceit and secrets...💔

Nice one Lovely. Even I feel it is inconsistent. The refusal of prize was such a stupid thing..these two sisters seem have done some master's course in how to create misunderstandings and how to destroy some lives including themselves. Seriously who gave them the right to take such nonsensical and fatal decisions on their own??

When Arnav is on the right path --- for such trivial reason - why would Khushi do such a thing? I mean, no need to say nad things about Arnav - there was no need to badmouth him... For Khushi's character - calling her own husband a cheat in public!

I think Khushi has reached a level of frustration where she is just not thinking anymore, but reacting.. And she's just retaliating to everything Arnav does.. This track is getting to the point where something is just going to snap. Feels like a buildup to me. Yesterday was painful to watch, and I didn't bother with any repeats.. I hope the blast comes soon, so that things can go back to normal again.. Sigh..

Thanks for the PM.. :) And well done on making the post, even though it can't have been easy, with such a lack of inspiring material in the episode...
