I don't think its Mohit, he is an actor himself he would understand, he has friends who are actors...its Sanaya, she is not comfortable she keeps emphasizing, tho' she is an actor these kind of boundaries she should know better...in TV world nothing can go over board...

Based on her interviews - Sanaya is a person with strong opinions about things in general and she sticks to them...be it love (Barun/Sanaya interview about what is definition of love (Barun was practical in his approach Sanaya's response was more emotional), she is an emotional person/gets attached to people easily/temperamental even tho loving/fun loving person, she feels strongly about age/respect (even tho Mohit is 2yrs younger to her), makes her uncomfortable when she receives gifts from fans...wonder what her take is on relationship and being equals...she also says she will do romantic scenes tho she says its not her forte

To say she laughs at Barun coz she can not see him in those romantic scenes, acting and real life are different...no wonder she was surprised when Barun did a great job with Teri Meri song...Barun said they are both honest actors 😊

May be one of you can ask her in her up coming interview with Noreen next week her take on relationships/friendship...

you know, Sanaya's discomfort could be justified. But take a look at the Teri Meri Dance sequence. We see ASR holding Khushi pretty seductively, he hugs her from behind, runs his hands through her bare midriff in an obviously sexual gesture. he caresses her arms, lifts her holding her waist. The dance was a slow lovemaking of sorts on stage.

If she can enact those scenes, kiss on cheek (which she did do) should not be uncomfortable. In fact, a kiss in this scene was almost called for, even if it were a non-sexual, peck no the cheek or forehead.

Totally agreed! At keast a kiss on the forehead could have been shown...

personally i felt the hug was more powerful...considering the MU it will be much more passionate when everything is in the open and then they kiss

I didnt mind there was no kissing for them it was not the necessity
it was pureand reflective of their feelings

i wouldnt have minded to see arnav kiss khushi on her forhead when she was lying her head on his chest that would have been perfect

I don't think Sanaya's discomfort is really the thing here - as Smriti said, during Teri Meri, his hands were all over her and she was ok with that. Similarly they have done some pretty close scenes - he does keep pulling her close to him from the first episode, they had the almost kiss at Diwali and before that the "thoda dard hoga" (phew, was it just me and my gutter mind or was that seriously hot!), and I am assuming that now that they are married they will have to show some kind of intimacy at some point of time.

Look, she signed on for what was promised to be an intense love story. I'm sure she realised what she was signing herself up for - it's not like they are going to suddenly come to her and say - "oh you know what, you need to do intense romantic scenes from now on". And a kiss on the cheek, or on the forehead is nothing. They have already done kiss on the cheek before.

I was hoping for a kiss or a hug too. I've noticed that in the close shots both Arnav and Khushi do stare at each others' lips, especially Khushi. I'm guessing it's not just sexual tension portrayal (though it fits in well with that) it's also the actors' relative heights, and probably the fact that the other one has his / her eyes closed at the time! 😆 But yeah, it really adds to the feeling of longing and attraction that just pours out of Arnav and Khushi.

Which is why I think they should "just do it". It would muddy the waters, confuse both of them, and generally make them think a little. But he shouldn't do it to prove a point to Shyam. He could do it because he's frustrated with Shyam (or something like a "does he make you feel the way I do" typical M&B thing) but not because Shyam taunts him that his marriage is not real and he wants to set that straight or from cold-hearted calculative motives. 😕 Also please, CVs, no obvious body doubles for the consummation! It would just spoil it big big time for me!

Anyway let's see what the CVs have in store. So far they really are playing TRP games with us, and trying desperately to balance comedy and romance / drama. We also know it's for TRPs, but continue to ooh and aah. 😉 I think Shyam knowing the truth about the marriage and their sleeping arrangements is a good thing - a catalyst to get the story going. Our creep Cupidwa will definitely not let us down! 😆
