Yes i understand what you mean, but it also depends on what kind of kiss you meant. Yeah if either Khushi or Arnav, kissed the other one on the cheek/forehead, then that would've been suitable.

However a kiss on the lips is far more intimate than one on the cheek/forehead.

A kiss on the lips, would be too much (once again concidering at what point in the serial we are)

I want ipkknd to continue for months, and even years. A kiss on the lips at this stage would've ruined the story..But then again this is just MY opinion. We all think differently 😊

😆 parul you are killing me!!!! why do CVs believe that ARHI can kiss only once? they can kiss more than once!! by golly, we have listened to million rabba ves without complaint, i am sure we wont complain about kisses!!!

jokes aside, there is something called timeliness and proper scripting for maximum impact. IPK has endemically been inconsistent with pacing.one moment its blow hot and next moment its blow cold with a bucket of water thrown on top it.

even when the show intense scenes, the cut over to other scenes seems so abrupt and unnecessary, it gives you a mild whiplash.

Since you've brought up the topic of a kiss and expression of love (luuurv!), SJ, I have a question too -- can anyone watch intense scenes between ASR and KKG without laughing esp. after what BS said about how they shut their eyes so they don't start laughing while doing such scenes?

I can't stop imagining how the other must be holding their laughter while the camera is focused on one of them showing immense emotion for the other. Simply because it is done in such a silly manner, which I guess brings me back to your original question - why don't they simply show them kissing? To which I suppose my answer is the one I gave earlier.
Sigh!! there is such a circularity about it all.
But I agree, the problem is the show falling between two stools as you point out.

just out of curiosity, i paged through IBF guidelines on primetime and family hour and exposure of shows to children. this is what they quote

There is a progressive decline in the proportion of minors present as television audience through the evening and during the night. The restrictions on the broadcast of programmes unsuitable for minors should be relaxed on a gradual and progressive basis after 8 pm. The assumption is that after 8 pm parents are expected to share responsibility for what their children are permitted to watch on television.

so, shows after 8 pm can show mature content as long as its handled with care and class. i mean the ibf leaves it to parents to decide whether the content is appropriate for minors.

i think the family hour reasons from IPK makers is on thin ice. again just my thoughts.

I think that their love is so pure and as everyone is saying the MU is still there, it would be pleasing to see them kiss but the circumstances of the show and actors don't aid that

There was one look Khushi gave y'day was very sweet before they got up to go down...she says nimboo ka achchar and looks at his face with a smile/waiting for a response, deserved a forehead kiss from Arnav, would have been sweet...

you know, i heard that and i felt it is true when you are surrounded by the entire crew and there is really no actual rabba ve playing and you are just acting in bits and pieces for different shots, the scenes do not carry the same meaning or intensity in reality. its when the scenes are put together, music added and editing completed, the scenes gather meaning and depth.

lol, SARUN probably think this entire analysis of why No ARHI kiss is hilarious too. 😆
