Tame the man, don't break him. Because, then he will not be the man you fell in love with. He will become someone more suitable to your whims and fancies, nothing else. He will become a product of YOUR environment, instead of the two of you meeting halfway, and making the best of both the worlds you both have to offer each other. There are many people in this world who prefer peace and quiet, and there's no reason to make a mockery out of that. Ironically, many of those people in the audience today, WELCOMED the zipped mouth, and low toned voice. They're probably the same people who applauded when the door was shut in a face, and expressed disgust at the blatant disrespect for a man who after explaining himself, was STILL taught a lesson. And, the lesson didn't end, even when that man, in the privacy of his sister's room, confessed to her that he really DOES'NT enjoy the gawdy and loud stuff. Not with malice or hidden feelings, but sincerity. Because if that is NOT what happened, then Barun Sobti acted that scene out wrong.
