Tame the man, don't break him. Because, then he will not be the man you fell in love with. He will become someone more suitable to your whims and fancies, nothing else. He will become a product of YOUR environment, instead of the two of you meeting halfway, and making the best of both the worlds you both have to offer each other. (Please pay attention script writers, because this is really for you.)

There are many people in this world who prefer peace and quiet, and there's no reason to make a mockery out of that. Ironically, many of those people in the audience today, WELCOMED the zipped mouth, and low toned voice. They're probably the same people who applauded when the door was shut in a face, and expressed disgust at the blatant disrespect for a man who after explaining himself, was STILL taught a lesson. And, the lesson didn't end, even when that man, in the privacy of his sister's room, confessed to her that he really DOES'NT enjoy the gawdy and loud stuff. Not with malice or hidden feelings, but sincerity. Because if that is NOT what happened, then Barun Sobti acted that scene out wrong.

He has made many mentions of your standard. And, this time around, I agree with him. How low can you possibly let a woman fall CVs?

HOH, I fully agree with you on the first part.

On the second part, I respectfully disagree:

Arnav cancelling the Sangeet as he does not like noise etc.. Okay if so, didn't he earlier know what a Sangeet involved in the first place?

Plz don't tell me he did not attend Anjali's Sangeet for the same reason?

Even for a moment, let us say he has no clue what a sangeet is, why did he nominate NK then?

Didn't he know, Sangeet involves Dance and obviously music...Unless he thought the sangeet was performed with headphones on?

He did not like it, okay fine. Then why ruin it for the other members of the family and what about Payal's family, it is their daughter's marriage, don't they have a say?

Okay even if we say he has full right to cancel the sangeet, shouldn't he have shot down the whole sangeet idea when it was first discussed.

Why keep quiet when a choreographer was hired, when his family was practicing?

I wish CVs had thought of something better than this cancelling of Sangeet thing, cos it is very lame and ASR is NOT lame.

I am one of those people who thought the door in face was fitting and found that entire silence sequence childish beyond. Moreso as to how Nani would find that a more appropriate way to reason than discussion. And the entire emotional blackmail of his sister - the only one who he ever bares his soul to - really quite disturbing. Why in the hell should he trust anyone, especially now? He values loyalty. They value the sangeet.

They are turning ASR into a eunuch, for laughs. It's pathetic and flies in the face of 'maturity' that the CVs once tauted about this serial.

I am glad people are enjoying the family mindless comedic antics. I am not one of them.

**let's also clarify - he said they could have the sangeet elsewhere, he would not attend. Akash said you are part of the family, we won't have one without you. But as usual, ASR is the meanie scapegoat who doesn't want a desi function where Khushi can show off some more as to how chulbuli she is (I am going to puke)

ASR likes the peace and quiet... but I didn't feel that a mockery was made of his preferences. Although he doesn't like the music and dance, everyone else in the family does and that is what they wanted. It is not his sangeet...so he should have given a thought about others preferences as well.
I don't think the others were trying to teach him a lesson...they just wanted him to agree to the sangeet.

Sorry to disagree - but the whole encounter with Khushi was very much about her teaching him a lesson - "We are only doing what you said - ASR ki pasand - khamoshi, and I understand khamoshi'. It was absolutely mocking. And jeuvenile and not the way the CVs should have had the sangeet come about.

This sangeet issue is freaking annoying...When Khushi proposed the jang idea to the Gupta family, we see Payal immediately shaking her head in refusal. Cue the RM where we also see Akash saying no to sangeet. So why on earth is Khushi forcing this on both families?!

Did she not learn anything from the cocktail party?..Learn to respect others opinion and people will respect yours.

After the sangeet, Khushi will just find another shiny new toy that she wants..and she'll get...And all the while CV's are portraying her to be an innocent simple girl who wants the best for everyone. Yeah. Sure.

Well, ofcourse don't want them to change Arnav like they did to Khushi's character.
But, getting him to agree to have a sangeet ceremony by keeping quiet, to me was not that offensive.
It was not an average episode and most of them will be till the main theme gets back on track if it ever happens!!
Where I am from even we are not supposed to have a Haldi ceremony...according to religion. We do haldi anyway and we do our singing and dancing on the same day. It's the day the youngster's of the family play thier role and have as fun as possible out of a wedding. And the real wedding day the authority goes to the elderly. And oh boy, do we go out of our way to get the elderly agree to the singing and dancing when they don't as our religion does not permit.
So, to me it didn't seem wrong. No one is gonna get hurt. Some will end up having fun. Arnav is 26 himself. He needs some more fun in his life too!! That's why the script binds Arnav and Khushi. Just my opinion

Khushi was dead set on teaching him a lesson, just so she could have her precious Sangeet. She insisted even when his family had given up for heaven's sake. And, yes she did trigger off his stance against it, and I don't blame him at all. Her childish behavior is downright ridiculous. And what was with that whole "You wanted quiet, I gave you quiet?" It was a lesson. Taking the literal meaning out of something, and turning it around, using it against a person is pathetic.

ASR got slapped twice. Once yesterday, and again today.
