I feel he is a little impatient that she too is in denial, she is young and her reactions are untutored and genuine but although he knows and recognises them as an attraction that binds them in an irrevocable bond she is trying to mask them.

Once Khushi reaches out to him there will be no stopping him.

He may find it convenient to get exactly what he wants himself without having to confess his feelings .

On the contrary , I found ASR to be very warm towards KHushi . each and every glance of him towards Khushi - sizzled with love .

Well, we can only hope the final push comes soon.

I felt he was hiding his interest. Really holding it down & sitting on it. But with great difficulty & effort.

Except for a few looks and one touch while opening/closing the door & another while she made the stain on his cuff worse, it was tame between them, not hot as usual.😆

I am waiting for the volcano to erupt😉 Khushi's wedding date being fixed, an accident, Shyam bomb, La exit or the impending doom of his engagement, watching Payash enjoy true love while he is stuck with the imitation article...what is going to be the trigger?

Smitha i strongly believe,Shyam's blackmailing n Hurting her will trigger Arnav for the volcano to erupt.I think Arnav will find out kushi is not happy with the person she got engaged n she is making her life mess with this engagement.I remember teej temple scene where she is about to fall n he saved her n made her drink the water unknowingly.same here which is going to happen,he is going save her unknowingly,that she is dealing with shyam .

i too agree with your POV. i have always wondered the reason Kushi pushes ASR's buttons so much .. is it coz of her so naked innocence.. i mean here is a girl who no matter what hardships life has placed on her has heart so pure and full of love nothing seems to shatter that.. even his rejection.. her views and beliefs of true love and all its glory is untarnished... she is so genuine and uninhibited...in her love, where as he is not.. he shields his emotions so much.. he will not afford to lay them out like that. Even if he was hurt or embarassed her.. whatever the moment arises she shows that she cares... even at the cost of getting hurt all over again.

it struck me from the scene when Payal and Akash was united and him bandaging her hand.. ASR looks at her and sees Kushi looking at them with such pure joy.. no jealousy or longing or regret .. i think it frightens him her boldness in that respect.. she is so trusting and maybe coz he had to grow up fast and learn that the world is a hard place.. and money talks and to keep his sister safe and comfortable he had to become the man he is. He has learnt to put veil over his emotions and desires.. he knows sometimes its a folly to expose yourself so much coz you can get hurt.. maybe he even has in the past which has not been revealed yet.

i also think it pisses him off that she does not try to recognize her feelings for him. He knows by the Diwali night experience she responds to feelings that draws them, but the moment he tramped on them she ran away from it and is in denial and she seems genuinely happay for LA and is willing to give him up for LA.. i think that really pisses him off...that she is giving up on him without a fight...i think he would have secretly wished for Kushi to tell LA - back of b**** 😆 he is mine.

I think underneath all this what would hurt him most is for Kushi to be a cynic ... i think he is fascinated and awed by her bravery when it comes to emotions.. i do not think he would want her to loose that.. i think that's what draws him to her... he would protect her... so some great thing will have to happen to make him leap... and that might have to come from Kushi...

Phew... this ASR complexity is becoming a dangerous obsession for me 😳

@ Telefan- Totally agree! ASR is SO VERY complicated! He is mad at Khushi coz he thinks that she is NOT acknowledging her feelings for him! Just like HE tries to supress his, SHE is doing a good job denying her's as well!

In his experaince SHE is the one that "values feelings" and showing emmotions etc! However, when it came to engagement announcements, other than the initial tear and upset look on her face, SHE recovered fast enough (as far as he could tell)! However, HE was unable to hide his reaction AT ALL, and sulked away for 2-3 days, even pre-poning his own engagement in response!

So he KNOWS that he is feelings something and wants HER to acknowldeg HER feelings as well! Therefore the whole disaster of "Farak Padata Hain" challenge! He just could not handle the IDEA of her not caring about him committing himself to someone else! He HATES it that Khushi is handing him on a plate to LA! He is frustrated beyond words by this!

Us the fans are just PLAIN frustrated! We WANT so BADLY for these two to acknowledge what they feel! WHEN is this going to happen ya'll? I am waiting with bated breath for more "realization" scenes in the coming weeks!

SOOO true!
If he acquires something after lots of hardships and pain, then that particular thing becomes priceless to him.
And its going to take a massive amount of hardships, suffering, misery and anguish for him to finally realize his TRUE feelings for Khushi. And even MORE pain for him to actually BE with Khushi. Oooh, I'm SO eager to see the TORTURE on ASR's face!!!
Barun is such an amaaazing actor that it's going to be SUCH a treat to watch! eeek! can't wait!
oooh, and the DRAMA that will be created when he is on the verge of the very much needed final push!!! I'm SO excited! I hope the CV's don't let me down!
