In his experaince SHE is the one that "values feelings" and showing emmotions etc! However, when it came to engagement announcements, other than the initial tear and upset look on her face, SHE recovered fast enough (as far as he could tell)! However, HE was unable to hide his reaction AT ALL, and sulked away for 2-3 days, even pre-poning his own engagement in response!

So he KNOWS that he is feelings something and wants HER to acknowldeg HER feelings as well! Therefore the whole disaster of "Farak Padata Hain" challenge! He just could not handle the IDEA of her not caring about him committing himself to someone else! He HATES it that Khushi is handing him on a plate to LA! He is frustrated beyond words by this!

Us the fans are just PLAIN frustrated! We WANT so BADLY for these two to acknowledge what they feel! WHEN is this going to happen ya'll? I am waiting with bated breath for more "realization" scenes in the coming weeks!

The fact that he believes that anything can be bought for the right price makes me chuckle b/c it will be quite interesting to see him figure out that Khushi's love and trust (the one thing he is going to want more than anything) can't be bought. He's going to eventually realize that the only way to gain access to this, is to ALLOW himself to love and trust her completely. 😲

I think that ASR's complete love and trust will be a sort of apology in itself. His actions do always seem to speak louder (unless of course he is yelling) than his words...

It's been a long (already 6 months) and difficult journey w/ numerous detours and nasty potholes (the kind that we like to refer to as manholes), but this journey is far from over. I can only say that from the numerous cross-country roadtrips I took in my 20s, I've come to realize that often times the journey is far more interesting than the actual destination...so I'm in no hurry to have this end.

And in the words of another one of my fave men (Jon Bon Jovi) :

Khushi loves a lot of people. Amma, Babuji, Jiji, Buaji, Arnav, Anjali, Nani, La, Happyji, & even the Prakashs maybe...The list is long. She is an all or nothing kind of girl. When she gives her heart, she gives it completely.I loved her statement, "How can I breathe when Jiji is crying?". And Arnav, I feel, understood her perfectly.

He knows that she loves him. That is why he tells Anjali, "Jisse Pyaar Nahin Karti, Jiske Saath Rahna Nahi Chahti, ussse shaadi kaise kar sakti he?" or something to that effect.That is why he literally melts when she tells Buaji that he can't take sweets. He seems to be saying, "U can't hide how much u love me, can u?" He wants her to acknowledge her feelings for him. But what will he do if she complies? That is another question altogether.😆

Each time he slips from the stoneman pose and she shows her love in some way or the other, he goes all out to push her away to save her from himself and himself from her.

He is in the unenviable position of a thirsty man with a glass of water in front of him, but unable to drink it. His condition is even more pitiable cos he is the one stopping himself from reaching out to that glass of water.😆
