So, till now we have nothing from ASR in terms of his relationship with KKG. Some peeling of his many layers, yes, and a definite change in expression when he looks at her. His upcoming apology to Payal is welcome, but he owes a bigger one to Khushi, since his entire treatment of her was based off that same first meeting.

God, it takes a LOT to get this guy accepting things, but credit to him for making things right over and beyond what is expected.

As for Khushi, I don't see him acting till something pushes him beyond the point of focusing on his denial when it comes to making a decision. Also, coming back to how he looks at her these days... At the door, he was searching her face intently, trying to look past the startled expression, then seeing nothing, he brushed passed her and went inside. In the kitchen it was impatience, as if she should be comfortable with his presence, not dropping things in fright. And, the last look when she mentioned he can't eat sweets, that was pure sadness, as in "She does it so naturally, she doesn't even realize."

So yes, something huge is going to have to happen to give him that final push. Not just these feelings of love and passion. It'll be a combination of a lot of things which I think will finally drive him to take the plunge. He's a man who is used to getting what he decides to take, and then having little to no respect for that (Lavanya, people who can be bought off etc.) but when he gets something because he has had to fight for it, wanted to fight for it, it means everything to him (like the status and power he acquired because of his horrific past, and because he thought he would be nothing without it.)

Ah, such a complex man... I love thinking about this character... It's becoming my favorite pass-time. 😆

I think the huge push and final step will come if Arnav were to hear of Khushi's wedding date. Today Shyam was asking Bua about it, so I am sure its near as is Arnav's engagement to Lavanya. Soon Arnav will have to face his feelings, there will be no time to search or deny

Yeah ASR's eyes are saying something these days when he looks at Khushi! He dosent have a reason to be biased about her anymore!

He is going to apologize to Payal! Which is a HUGE deal and will seal the future of their relationship! She will be his sister in law! So it is important they start off on the right foot! This man values his family, so that is consistant!

He DOES owe KKG a bigger apology as he did ruin her life in Lucknow, and then tired to screw her life in Delhi too! However... that can come later I guess! He was behaving like a REALLY nice boy at K's house! (same as Diwali night!)! He has even "elevated" himself to "BABUA" status with Buaji!😆

Cant wait for some "Rabba Veying" to start again!

So true...he is such a complex man...so many facets to him...very much like a kaleidoscope. I really think that Shayam will try to hurt Khushi...and this will be the PUSHING that you are referring to that he needs. He will loose it when he sees or finds out that she is hurt...and as such he will do something DRASTIC.

Yes, exactly! In Khushi's case, he does need a big push. Maybe if he realizes he's losing Khushi, either cause of her wedding date approaching or her getting into an accident or something, he will definitely lose that composure.

All the emotions that he has covered with the thin sheet of PaYash's marriage, just like Khushi has, will come bursting through the seams once he realizes he can't let her go. Can't wait to see that ❤️

Agreed! ASR is definitely a complex character...😊

The fact that he believes that anything can be bought for the right price makes me chuckle b/c it will be quite interesting to see him figure out that Khushi's love and trust (the one thing he is going to want more than anything) can't be bought. He's going to eventually realize that the only way to gain access to this, is to ALLOW himself to love and trust her completely. 😲

I think that ASR's complete love and trust will be a sort of apology in itself. His actions do always seem to speak louder (unless of course he is yelling) than his words...

It's been a long (already 6 months) and difficult journey w/ numerous detours and nasty potholes (the kind that we like to refer to as manholes), but this journey is far from over. I can only say that from the numerous cross-country roadtrips I took in my 20s, I've come to realize that often times the journey is far more interesting than the actual destination...so I'm in no hurry to have this end.

And in the words of another one of my fave men (Jon Bon Jovi) :

His anger has gone, and they have a deal in place wrt Payash ,so they are at a new stage in their relationship where they can at least talk , the chemistry is still sizzling underneath kept in leash as they are committed to others.( I am convinced from your unchaste thread that ASR maybe, reads the attraction as just lust as love is an alien concept to him)

The push I think has to come from Khushi herself, She has to go to him for help.

I feel he is a little impatient that she too is in denial, she is young and her reactions are untutored and genuine but although he knows and recognises them as an attraction that binds them in an irrevocable bond she is trying to mask them.

Once Khushi reaches out to him there will be no stopping him.

He may find it convenient to get exactly what he wants himself without having to confess his feelings .

A Win Win deal.
