Halvai Ki Dukaan
Arnav walked over to Khushi and sat on the bed next to her, 'hello' he whispered as he kissed her cheek and put his arms around her waist.
'Mmm, yes, hello' Khushi grumbled as she moved her head away from Arnav and turned the sound up on the TV.
"Gamla nahi... vase... sorry!"
Arnav smiled at the screen as he took his jacket off. 'Remember when you said sorry to me like that? For the tea?'
'Shhh, be quiet please Arnav.'
Arnav put his arms back around Khushi and rested his head on her shoulder and Khushi leaned her head onto his putting a hand on his arm.
"Vaise bhi, kissi ne mujhse kaha hai ki maafi mangne se koi chota, bada nahin hota. Aur jho maaf kardetha hai, uska dil bohot bada hota hai."
'Do you remember Janmashti, Khushi?'
'Yes Arnav,' Khushi sighed. 'I remember it all, I was there too you know. Now please let me watch.' Khushi hit Arnav lightly on the arm not taking her eyes off the screen.
"Babuji nahi dikhai dehre hain. Kuch khana shana..."
"Bauji toh..."
Arnav kissed Khushi on the cheek in sync with Shah Rukh but instead of squealing like Kajol, Khushi only sighed and gave Arnav a look before she looked back at the television and Arnav put his head back on Khushi's shoulder.
"Woh meri dukaan harap na chahta hai."
Arnav smirked to himself as he realised what scene was coming next. He took his arms away from Khushi and took off his waistcoat and tie and unbuttoned the top three buttons of his shirt.
He sat back down and took Khushi's dupatta off and moved her hair to one side.
'Arnav, what are you doing?'
Arnav slowly unclasped her necklace, 'shhh, you keep watching. I'm just helping you get ready for bed.'
Khushi tried to push him away from her, 'Arnav, please let me just finish watching this part.'
'I'm not stopping you am I Khushi?' Arnav spoke silkily into her ear as he began to remove one earring. He moved her hair over to take off the other one as well.
"Lucknow da kurta, Pathani salwar. Tab lage mard. Warna hai bekaar."
Arnav took one of Khushi's hands in his, 'you said that to me as well, remember? To make me wear a Shervani on our Engagement?'
'Arnav please!' Khushi tried to pull her hand away from him but Arnav held on.
'Okay, okay. I promise I won't talk anymore.'
"Dosti ke elava bhi kuch rishte hote hai. Kuch rishte jho hum samajhte nahin."
Arnav took off the first couple of Khushi's bangles and let them fall to the floor."
"Kuch rishte jho hum samajhna nahin chahte."
He lifted Khushi's hand and kissed her wrist before letting his bottom lip trail over the spot he had kissed and watched as Khushi turned her head to him sharply.
"Chubh toh nahi raha?"
Arnav watched as Khushi's eyes darkened in desire, a look he knew to be reflected in his own.
"Kuch rishte jinka koi naam nahin hota. Sirf ehsaas hota hai."
Arnav took off another couple of bangles, stroking her wrist as he did.
"Chubh toh nahi raha?"
Arnav took the last of her bangles off, leaving only a solitary gold one on her wrist.
"Kuch rishte jin ki koi deewar nahin hoti, sarhad nahin hota."
He dropped her wrist gently onto his thigh and picked up her other hand, his eyes never leaving hers for a moment.
"Chubh toh nahi raha?"
Slowly Arnav began to take off the pieces of coloured glass decorating this wrist as well.
"Aise rishte, joh dil ke rishte hote hai, pyaar ki rishte hote hai, mohabbat ki rishte hote hai."
Khushi clenched her hand into Arnav's thigh as he gently stroked the inside of her wrist.
"Chubha? Mujhe bhi."
Arnav took off the last few bangles and threw them on the floor, again leaving only a solitary gold bangle adorning her wrist.
"Aapki halvai ki dukaan toh main harap kar hi rahoonga."
Arnav spoke in sync with Shah Rukh as he leaned towards her and took her lips in his. Khushi immediately abandoned the remote in her hand to join her jewellery on the floor and began unbuttoning the rest of Arnav's shirt and ran her hands along his shoulders pushing away the fabric. Arnav shrugged his shirt off fully before his hands went back around Khushi and he undid the dori on the back of her dress and slid down her zipper.
They broke apart only briefly as Arnav pulled Khushi's dress over her head and pushed her gently back onto the bed, taking off her remaining clothes. Arnav took off his own clothes before covering Khushi's body with his own. They kissed again passionately, tongues clashing against one another as their hands explored familiar lines.
"Yunhi rahe har dam, pyaar ka mausam. Yunhi milo humse, tum janam janam"
Arnav cupped her breast, stroking his thumb across the tip before he let his hand drift lower. Khushi gripped his shoulders and moaned into his mouth as Arnav's fingers stroked her, pleasuring her. Arnav then left her mouth to replace the hand that had abandoned her breast only seconds ago.
"Saagar hua pyaasa, raat jagne lagi. Sholon ke dil mein bhi, aag jalne lagi."
Khushi whimpered as Arnav dragged his teeth across her nipple while kneading her other breast softly. She dug her hand into Arnav's hair and pulled him up to meet her lips once again. 'Please Arnav,' she murmured against his lips as she pulled at his arm urging him to stop teasing her.
Arnav slowly withdrew his hand and positioned himself above her, 'tumhari halvai ki dukaan harap liya maine' he said huskily as he entered her.
"Jaltha rahe suraj, chand rahe maddham. Yeh khwaab hai mushkil. Na mil sakenge hum."
Khushi cried out Arnav's name drowning out the last strains of the song as he thrust inside her, joining them as they were always meant to be.
