I think makers wanted to use same set for new story so this Shivansh idea happened. In entirely new show they can not use same Obroi mansion 😛 . Save money is the main purpose, after all everybody is professional and doing business. Use same brand, same OM, same pool, same ... Salute to makers. I think like kalyani mill raaj in IB1, Shivika murder mystery will be the raaj in IB2 which will be solved with all arches.

@bold: Exactly this. They are giving IB extension based on brand value which is created by both NM & SC. So carrying forward brand without one of contributing partner is wrong. They could easily change the creative team and bring in fresh tracks because we all know shivika not working in not at all true. NM playing role or not should be out of question and its PH/Channel who should be mainly questioned here. If they have so good story and trust on their writing then create a new show with new name. Why carry your leap with brand name of IB. and if they want to carry it then have both contributing partner on board.

This is the million dollar question for all. Why do you need to carry the old band wagon ? Unfortunately they made a big blunder saying Shivika did not bring the TRPs. All seems to forget that it's fans who make or break a show. It's sorry state of affairs presently. So necessarily invoking fans are not going to get TRPs.

Hope NM will give a do justice for his new role/show amid these controversies. I'm not convinced how this all will work out. It's like going to the war without ammunition ( in this case SC/Annika)

Leap/extension is happening with the brand value of IB. Which show started leap with only one specially if it had brand value like IB. Shivika are face of starplus UK, starlife, and its NM & SC both who made this brand so PH/channel starting their leap by using this brand name is injustice to her. May be not according to you. PH claiming shivika didn't work so they are taking leap when truth is opposite. From sept onwards they sidelined annika char, there was nothing on shivika front but still blaming shivika as a pair. Removing SC who is half of contributing partner of brand isn't unfair as per you. Why don't they start this leap story in new show than using IB popularity brand.

So yes this is injustice to SC as per me.

And if it was not NM and someone else was playing Shivansh then also I would have fought because IB was/is and should be Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi chandna show. People who worked their ass off for 3 years. No new comer can come and enjoy the fruit of its success. Channel/PH can start a new show if they have so good story of leap.

I connected to Shivika more than actors.I know actors doesnt care about their characters beyond some point even when the characters are butchered as they see only their pay check i dont blame them,i mught be doing the same if i am in their shoes.But as a Shivika fan i dont support gul's statement about Shivika and i dont give trps after the leap otherwise it prove her right that Shivika didnt get trps.And Gul doesnt deserve success after the leap for how she treated Shivika which are emotionally close to my heart.

SC played safe by appreciating fans trend one side and supporting gul on other side for her own benefit.NM will continue in leap for his own benefit.Ofcourse Human should be selfish while earning bread and butter.May be its not selfish.Its might be necessity.But when they thinking about themselves why shouldn't i think about myself 😆.How much i tried to convince myself,as a Shivika fan it still leaves a bitter taste with how the way it is ending.And as a Shivika fan i dont want to support PH after so much insult to Shivika,so i always hoped Leap should be disaster.When everyone thinking about themselves why should i care for actors success after leap.😆.

I still support NM and SC with future projects after IB but can't support NM after leap as i should think about my sentiments more than anything😆.

Edit:I would have done the same thing if SC is retained and NM being chucked out😆

One on side people claim that shivika made a useless full of flaws writting work and on the other hand they r saying that new cast will enjoy the fruits of shivika hardwork. R u even reading ur own comments? Even shivika fans r not 100% sure that the leap will flop. If u claim shivika to be the reason and u love to blame nm and drag him in everything y not to wait and karma will bite nakuul and gul for their hyprocracy and bad doings.

On the other hand mark my words now the girl sc ur r fighting for and feeling bad for she will grab the first opportunity to work with gul again like in past barun n neha did. Thats how it works here. In this whole messed up industry of indian serial all work for their own bemefits. Sc got one of the finest character, recognition n what not because of gul and gul got enough money. As long as it was about benefits they worked together now gul think its not enough they parted ways how hard is this to understand? Once sc will get another character that can make her a bigger star she will work with gul again what rubbish past self respect, injustice r we talking about. If its ur first indian serial then i can understand this outburst but if its not u r definitely a fool

Firstly there is nothing like KARMA really. so saying wait for karma to bite blah blah all are rubbish.

Secondly I feel leap will run only as they already have established show its not like starting new show.

If Gul has so much trust on her story why don't she start a new.

Gul said shivika aren't working and not bringing number hence the leap. Why don't she says that she wants leap. Simply stating truth that she want leap without blaming fans pair whom we loved so much.

Here she is not only blaming fans but also implying that also stating indirectly SC is no more required for the show.

So she wants freshness then start new show because how come in same show you keep one face then this is called freshness? As per Gul people would want to see new face as freshness then it should apply to all the faces and she should start a new show.

About working I know she would, however I so wish she doesn't because till now this PH neither promoted/credited her alone ever, cut her out from montage when wanted so how i wish she works with someone who promotes/credits her equally as she has been equal partner in making IB brand.

lastly I can say for myself and I nowhere bashed NM or tweeted him anything. Its his personal choice whether we like it or not.

Maybe his die hard fans find it easier to wipe their memories of Shivaay and happily embrace the next iteration of a Gul hero...lol I don't...Shivaay is the only one I made time for in Gul land and it was for a reason because he was different...NM himself couldn't live up to a watered down version of Shivaay in AU toh aage toh rab hi raakha.

This whole thing is a giant mess but yeah it's deffo a let down that these actors who were the only reason we stuck with a SUPER shitty storyline for so long...they also more or less want to flick away Shivika in the blink of an eye and move on to playing the next lame Gul role overnight...Gul has always been disrespectful so one doesn't expect any better from her...but the actors can handle this better IMO.

What continues to grate on me is that barely a month back, the actors were more than happy to sing odes to Shivika and now just cuz the PH has thrust this decision on them overnight, why are we the fans also expected to play along? We aren't exactly getting PAID in all this like the actors are, are we? lol if you pay me to wipe my memory so easily then sure, maybe I could do it just as easily as these guys seem to all be able to do...but that's not the case.

All I wish for is that if not Gul and her pathetic gang, atleast the actors stop expecting the fans to overnight abandon the characters they had so much attachment to and rush to embrace whatever random half-baked shit is coming up. Zabardasti hai kya?

Fair enough reason on why shouldn't NM play Shivaansh !

But NM might have had his own reasons for playing that character...money, role or whatever PH promised.

My post is mainly about the bashing he is getting because he choose to play Shivaansh ! and suddenly most of the fans calling him hypocrite, fakester and that he is showing off as the only one who has hand in making IB a success.

Yes, we as fans who are attached to the characters, might not be able to move on as easily as actors...we will need time and its our own wish if we have to watch after leap or not !

Gul and channel can come up with any number of videos, posts and what not that doesn't gaurantee the TRPS unless the story is good...

But we have also seen shows which are TRP toppers and yet the story /acting is not to our liking...

So whether leap works or not , only future will tell...

Yesterday i saw a funny tweet "See Nakuul didnt post about Shivaansh and leap in his good bye post.I am proud of him for indirectly supporting SC".I replied genuinely a fact "Picture abhi baki hai,he will soon post when leap promotion starts"I had no any intentions against him while replying,i just stated the fact.In return i got the reply "He is quite professional and you shut the f**k up and Surbhi is not necessary for Nakuul"..I was laughing at their stupidity & delusion 🤣 where the hell i even bashed him?😆 and now idk how many chamelis i get here from NM fans😆.

Gul's statement about Shivika not working...sigh...what can we expect from a person who has always twisted facts and used her words every time differently to suit to her own needs?

She wanted a leap and hence she said Shivika not working...if tomorrow leap doesn't work, she will blame some one else...we have seen how she/HS reacts to fans...nothing new for her...but still I never thought she would say that Shivika not working when clearly in REDUX, Shivika story is very weak...

about Gul using him and throwing him out like SC, we never know... if it happens he will learn from it...but in this industry nothing is permanent...neither actors nor their relationships with co-actors or even PH...

as some one rightly pointed out, Neha has been shown door after promising her as parallel lead in IB and DBO...but still she came as Sumo in that -ve shade when Gul asked her to come back...She could have hold grudge and not come back...

So holding grudges and taking revenges ..I doubt industry works on those lines...

We are far less educated to how the industry works...we only know what we are shown...

Tomorrow if leap is a failure or a success, it will be his own choice...but I dont think its any way disrespecting the work he and SC had put up for the last 2.7 years...

For him it will be like a new show...and most probably the show will be the Love story of Shivaansh Singh Oberoi...

In this female lead dominated shows, to get to play the lead of the show where its centered around the ML is very difficult...

He was very clear in this IVs, he wouldn't play BF/hubby to naagins, makhis ...😆

Going by all the shows that are currently on air, more than half of them are based on all the supernatural elements...and remaining are the mahaan FLs whose only aim in life is to keep the so called joint families together...in all these MLs get very less to show up their acting skills...

Even though REDUX had a pathetic script, NM did have various shades like Majnu and as PTSD patient to show up his acting prowess...

about NM promoting or not promoting after leap...lets be clear here...he is the person who has continuously promoted IB and Shivika even when channel/PH did nothing...

so I expect him to promote after leap too...

My post was not about the injustice to SC by Gul/PH and channel...

It was clearly about the bashing NM received just bcoz he choose to stay back and play lead after LEAP.

From what I have seen of Gul from 2.5 years, she is impulsive, childish and rude...what can we say about her ?
