Why shouldn't NM play Shivaansh ? - Page 2

What got the fans and most of us worked up is that the makers thought Shivaka wasn't working. 😲 . This was a jaw dropping moment for me. Even with the most hair brain story arcs the cat lady came up with before redux. I always knew they would be there to save the crap they were dishing out. And they were quite a few.

So with the producer coming out saying Shivika wasn't working. Surbhi refusing to play a pregnant mother and that too for 2 weeks . This got most of us emotional, angry, hurt and so on.

I agree Surbhi s video was heartbreaking to watch. Still hurts thinking about it.

And then all of us know what went on at the other tag. When the fans were fighting the ph were counter acting with releasing those videos.
Nakuul I felt should have released his good bye message before all the videos came out. It would have made an impact on me. I did not feel a thing reading it.

We all agree Ishqbaaz was always NMs swan song. And for the makers to take him on for season 2/leap. (Whatever they are calling it) was the right thing to do.

Now if Surbhi was given a chance to stay back, would she have got as much of the hate as NMs getting now.

To conclude I thank god the Ph didn't come up with a segment interviewing Sc asking her questions
Did they chuck her out or did she leave on her own.

They did that with the actor from their old show. That was one embarrassing and pathetic interview.

There might be more to come. But whatever is written is my opinion and I'm sticking to it

Ps: Now this makes me sad to write this. What ever s*%# they are churning out now. I wish they would end it. I cannot connect with any of the characters even Nm and Sc.

PPs. I will Watch Ishqbaaz. Not because of Nm or whoever they bring in . But if the story is not up to par its curtains Ishqbaaz for me

These things happens. Leap happens all the time. Story changes. Relationship between actors and production house changes. Even relations between actors changes. We will all miss shivika for sure, however to think that ishqbaaz will not survive without shivika is too premature to say. The leap has not even happened yet. We do not know what this shivaansh character is going to be and who will NM be paired with.


Qubool Hai maintained trps for 4 years even after leap generations and Surbhi Jyoti was paired with another co actors to play the leap. First as Zoya with KSG and so on and so on. Despite KSG sudden exit and generation leap and changed of actors it went on for quite some time. So, I'd say the viewers who don't like the new equations and dynamics of the new cast will not tune in. But, maybe there are also new people who will be interested with the new cast.

The production house is making a show that needs to appreciate the beauty between arts and commercial values. Sometimes, they have to take it back from the viewers for the sake of the continuation of the show. If they all want it to be only about arts and beauty. I guess everybody wants that, but then they also have to survive and make it work in the television industry.

Don't be sad, love - this hate was inevitable. Would just recommend that you tune it all out. I remember something similar happened during IPK ending, too. In fact, any show that ends badly ultimately goes through the leads' fans fighting. It IS ridiculous, though, because you don't quit your day job just because your coworker is leaving/was fired - that's just not practical.

I read NM's post and it seemed more of a homage to his own journey as SSO instead of anything about the show as a whole. Which is fine. He's only bidding adieu to the character, afterall. I do understand the fans' sentiments because ShivIka were hardly mentioned but I think it was just him looking back on his own journey.

In all honesty, I don't think NM or SC care about the hate, though they do appreciate the love. Suggest you do the same <3 We can only wish for the best for both our beautiful leads and hope they achieve greater heights. Might be a bit biased but after the way she was treated, I hope SC becomes a star in her own right.

One more thing people can bash gul ph writer whoever. Dont forget after barun left ipk the channel have subtitles that humiliate an actor he still worked with the same ph twice.

What makes you think he wasn't aware? Ishqbaaz is Shivaays journey. He's star plus and the phs golden boy, they gave him a chance to play a new character. Off Course they would have told him the others won't be around the leap/season
