Why shouldn't NM play Shivaansh ?

So holding grudges and taking revenges ..I doubt industry works on those lines...
We are far less educated to how the industry works...we only know what we are shown...

Tomorrow if leap is a failure or a success, it will be his own choice...but I dont think its any way disrespecting the work he and SC had put up for the last 2.7 years...
For him it will be like a new show...and most probably the show will be the Love story of Shivaansh Singh Oberoi...
In this female lead dominated shows, to get to play the lead of the show where its centered around the ML is very difficult...
He was very clear in this IVs, he wouldn't play BF/hubby to naagins, makhis ...😆
Going by all the shows that are currently on air, more than half of them are based on all the supernatural elements...and remaining are the mahaan FLs whose only aim in life is to keep the so called joint families together...in all these MLs get very less to show up their acting skills...
Even though REDUX had a pathetic script, NM did have various shades like Majnu and as PTSD patient to show up his acting prowess...

about NM promoting or not promoting after leap...lets be clear here...he is the person who has continuously promoted IB and Shivika even when channel/PH did nothing...

so I expect him to promote after leap too...

Normally the addicted fans to a couple can never accept the different boy or girl to pair with another one immediately. I also felt the same for my favorite couple of another show. thanks Krithi for your opinion...yes when you love a couple on screen and it really becomes difficult to immediately switch on to new couple...it takes time...

IB had had very fluctuating TRPs from after the merger...still it was given chance like no other show..and I believed that its because of the brand IB and Shivika ...

Shivika/Narbhi has been used in many campaigns by the channel...

Anyways NM might have weighed his pros and cons and then decided... whether its wise or not only time will tell... but this industry is very volatile...we have seen so many shows which had seasoned actors and yet many new shows tanked in the game of TRPs...but shows with unknown faces fared really well...

about logical ending for super six ! When none of the characters are not to be part of leap, what does it mean by logical end ? It only means all of them are dead...I dont know what Gul meant by logical ending...anyways I don't believe her words after the web of lies that keeps sprouting to suit her needs...

IMO there is nothing wrong in NM agreeing to play Shivaansh. It would have been uprofessional if he refused to do the role just because they changed the female lead.

He is a professional artist and people who bash him must remember that.

PS: I am neither a Nakuul Mehta fan nor a Shivaay Singh Oberoi fan. I like SC and Annika more.

Nice post, Rohini.

I 100 agree with you about what you said above.

According to me, bashing an actor for his decision to stay in a show is not cool, at all.

I agree most of us who commenting here are attached to ShivIka as a couple. And, I feel its natural to get upset to see your ship falling apart. To see the female lead leave the show who is the 50% share holder of the popularity of the lead pair.

Getting saddened over one of the lead leaving is one thing. And indulging in bashing because of decisions of the other lead is another .

The question is :Why? What is the need of bashing ?

For me the only reason is that we are not accepting the fact that they are just doing their job like every other human do. We think, we assume that the pair we are watching is irreplaceable (which sometimes is true) and that is why we don't accept the change. In reality, we have invested a lot more than we should in the couple ( reasons to invest may vary from person to person).

Do we leave our job if one of our very efficient team member quits (or forced to quit)? Do we?

Obviously no.

We may find a person as capable as the earlier or may not find a person equal to the previous one but one thing for sure, we don't leave our job.

What we think of first is our own needs, our own demands, our own future. So why are we making a fuss over the fact that the other lead also chose the same. He chose to stay whatever the reason he as. May be creative satisfaction, money, etc. etc. The person knows exactly what is the very best for his future or at least the thing he has been offered is worth a shot .

People out there are not working for friendship but for bread and butter. So how is it wrong to accept an opportunity which is being given to them.

I don't know whether the leap would be failure or fabulous but I feel it is wrong to belittle the actors for their choices. To bash an actor if he what he found the best for himself.

If PH made a mistake, if channel made a mistake and if an actor made a mistake; they will surely realize it after watching the results. But to bash a person who just grabbed the opportunity he got is totally wrong in my opinion .

P. S. : Strictly my point of view. If anyone disagrees, kindly refrain yourself from using harsh words or royally ignore this piece of writing .

Considering the fact that like any other star he too want to do something that showcase ur talent and i dont want to take away the credit of anyone but ishqbaaaz was a male oriented show based on shivaay and his love life that includes shivika. In this female oriented industry he get to play lead in a male oriented show what better can u ask for?

Now the fans that r bashing him were never actually the fans. I m hurt too, i invested my time in this show too like anyother fan. I read sleep wakeup talking about ishqbaaaz and it makes me cry that i wont be seeing this family again. But i respect the decision he took. Yes the shows on ITV are generally female lead oriented...nothing wrong in that only that most of the FLs looks superficial...and they are portrayed as mahaan aatmas who are good daugthers, good wife, good dauther-in-laws and good moms and then good mother in laws...with no flaws...

What attracted fans to Shivaay , annika and Shivika are the flawed characters and the perfect portrayal by NM-SC...

So when he is getting a chance to play a lead to a character whose story would be revolved, I find it nothing wrong...who has seen the future...it might work or might not work...and every new show always come up with uncertainty...so he is talking his chances...if we like we will watch other wise, we will stop...its up to us...

First of all thanks for not taking my post in a negative light without MUing it as NM bashing and finding it funny..in a good way😆.

Even if many people claimed IB as male centric show,it is not NM centric show.From beginning of the show,He was one of the obros and he was not given more importance than other obros in those initial episodes until DBO started ofcourse Shivika shined and clicked even after all this is another story.Most of the episodes filled with maximum number of villians like Daksh,kamini,Ranveer,Nafratbaaz sisters,Three finger pinky aunty,and got equal screen space more or less to NM.After merger Shivika lost somewhere in the groupbaazi even regarding screen space with social msgs.We got quality scenes regarding Shivika compared to other couples but quantity wise it is more or less equal to different villians like Roop bua,Veer sci fi tracks combined with other couples after merger.In last 3 months of RU cameos got more screen space.In Redux we very well know again Story intially centred around Prinku,daksh crap, later Mohit nancy,Obros cock fight.Shivika or Shivaay was never given more importance even in Screen space in Redux.He was lost in group and only PTSD track was somewhat centred around him for a week or two.Later again diwali groupbaaz.

So finally it just a false impression gul created among the minds of fans that it is male centric show as only male side family shown.It doesnt mean that it is NM centric show.

Ph never treated or credited this show as Shivika's or Narbhi's.Even now promoting as 6 lead show & has 6 on mon tage and we shouldnt ignore we have face a lot with other couple fans bcz it has a multiple cast.We the shivika fans or Narbhi didnt enjoy fully as leads as always distributed among other cast whether it is credit or screen space.I am not blaming other couple fans,there are right in their own way or from their POV.

In yrkkh show,Kaira scenes shown more than anything but here its not has been like that.In Ekta shows she utilises leads fully and gives credits and ofcourse those shows get trps run for long time obviously leads get secure job for a long time.

Regarding NM not wanting to play makhhi or Naaagin's bf,looking at butchering of characters in recent episides and how lame the characters behaving illogically,the cat poop script is not anything better honestly.Who knows i dont surprise if he play naagin's bf in future bcz of experience in acting in this illogical shit.I would like to see him a male naagin🤣 due to his natural kanji/blue ankhen,artificial lense is also not needed.😆.

Ofcourse he promotes leap that is what i am saying genuine fact.Its not like am bashing him as some his fans claimed.That was what i wanted to clear😆.

I am sure gul bring again multiple cast after leap and start groupbaazi,it is her favourite.So i dont think leap will be NM centric.
