I m still trying to understand whats new in redux.

Initially as per the challenge thrown in by Mr.awasthi I felt that has a lot of potential n that I will see real shivika from above seeing how they meet n regroup again.

But surprise surprise😆

Writers changed the concept overnight saying ' shivika wohi, kahani nai'. Chalo as a audience we will take this too coz again it has potential. But the characters are way too remorsed n dark n at the same time completely resembling to shivika.may be the tones have changed...there cud be so many more things...but this looks like a total reboot!

Why a dosa stall for Anika, nothing else suffices? Why gauri was shown so helpless...now all of thm will stay at OM...hayo rabba!

I know it's a challenge m we need to give it time but sadly there is nothing new till now.

Though I loved harneet article today...hopefully they will come up to the promise of their words this redux😳

LOL frankly I'm giving feedback on an epi by epi basis...cuz this Redux is a mixed bag so far...I was giving them time ki when Shivika finally meet, perhaps some shifts will happen, characters will open up...but today proved that they have literally NOTHING to show but typical TV cliches on Shivika interactions in this AU.

Dosa stall chhodo, where is the TAKKAR? Without takkar there is NOTHING in this show...nothing in Shivika...whatever grand fantasies HS is spinning in her head, one thing she needs to understand is that taking away that basic takkar waali quality to whatever Shivika have b/w them in the name of doing something "different' is certifiably going to sink this redux and this show without a doubt.

That was a joke in the name of "takkar" today...Anika retorting with one taunt about his Mom does NOT make for takkar...upar se him smashing his fist into random pieces of glass is too much typical TV cliche for me...and really makes me lose interest.

LOL what is new in this redux, you ask? The "new" is actually the same old of desi TV...haha IB was new BEFORE...now it's the SAME OLD of EVERY show on TV😆...they are effectively diluting all the things that set them apart.

Only Shivaay is darker...Anika is subdued...and that is a very depressing combination...they don't have the necessary traits to balance each other out...just the standard, "FL who will heal his darkness" trope ain't gonna cut it for me...too cliched.

Idk i am missing my old Anika and i am feeling like we will never going to get our old/original Anika and Shivika back after knowing gul said it as season 2. i was ok with less shivika scenes before this redux and i almost got detached with the show with groupbaazi before but i had always a little hope that we would get Anika pregnancy track,Shivika or Ansh track one day,and show will progress further if at all the show didn't go off air.But what happened,they themselves made kachra of the charaterisations and gave me a wierd feeling and dread that whether i will like SC in any other role in future in any other shows.As all shows write nonsense stuff to the FL.i thought i can enjoy SC in any role,but what the writer had done .I thought its not easy for me to not enjoy any scene of SC,i mean she inherently had very interesting traits she is highly expressive and have excellent dialogue delivery and something attractive and immense entertaining factor,but what had Harneeth done to my SC/Anika i mean anyone can learn from Harneeth how to not utilising the best thing ,she always doesn't give much importance to Anika character but still SC raised above all this and stood as centre of attraction in the show.How can she write such half baked and nonsense stuff on new Anika character or for the SC role .I am feeling very bad for SC,she derserves much more than this for her immense dedication and talent.

My issue is cliche is also not done like a proper cliche...n that's looking neither here or there! There are being too careful.they need to drop everything n get going with what they want to rebuild...they need to go all out in character rather than hold back their own n our own dearest characters!

I mean why shud I be really excited for Anika calling khannaji as Khanna bhaiya.😆😕...that's just an example!

Waise I genuinely don't understand what HS means by saying that Anika's situation is more "precarious" this time so she doesn't have the "luxury" of showing spunk and giving it back to ppl.

Yeah I agree. This Anika is not Khidkitod, she is rather shown as a becharri and all righteous FL. This might appeal more to TRP audience as you have pointed out. But I just can't take this Anika anymore who has been shown halt sai majboor, bechari and such a weak character. I don't know how they will show a stronger conflict between Shivika because the last time it was opposite attract and both of them were shown as a very strong characters. But this time, the spark is missing in Anika. I am looking forward to redux as its a new story for Shivika but I am not sure how its going to turn out well, if they will not bring the old Khidkitod Anika for SSO. 😕

I will cut a slack for this to HS. HS has admitted that redux happened overnight and may be due to that characters are not sketched properly or story is not written properly. HS said, Khidkitod Anika will be back, may be she meant in few episodes later and due to poor planning, they could not give a good personality sketch to Anika. We could only wait and see for next HS presenting. 😆
